Welcome, Tracie! There's no time limit on losing 5 pounds, so jump right in.

I didn't do that great on the food today. I did walk up some hills this evening, though, and then I did some Pilates. Okay, so today wasn't the greatest day all the way around. Tomorrow will be better!

HI GALS ~

I have some big news...but first ~

TWESTRA ~ anybody can join at anytime! We set no time limits here!

BRIT ~ Awesome on the loss...watch out for Jillian...she's mean! ....

THISTOO ~ Hey a little loss is still a loss! As an assistant coach you know too well that not every day is a good one on the scale ...that's why we focus on the big picture here...our new lifestyle changes!

DANGEROUS ~ OUTSTANDING! I am glad it is getting easier for you

DENA ~ yep...I understand...I have to be really sick to lose my appetite! Looks like you are ready to get started again!

KITTYCAT ~ I too wish it were possible to show a loss each week...but that really doesn't happen to most of us....but you just never know what next week will bring! One week when ,I was really losing a while back, I didn't lose anything for 2 weeks then lost 4 in one week! Stay focused!

GATORGAL ~ OUTSTANDING on the hike Looks like the MEMORIAL DAY WEEK-END 3FC 5K will be easy for you! Super on the salad!

HAT TRICK ~ I too am learning that I don't have to eat the entire X...that I can have a "serving" and enjoy the X....I bet the Mother's Day damage is long gone by now! ...say bye-bye

PAULA ~ Great job on the scale and staying away from that wine! ...to you and me for our alcohol restraints!

something big....

I am down exactly 5 pounds! from when we started! I weighed in this morning at 173.8....since I was leaving at 4:15am for work I didn't have time to post...I couldn't wait to get home to tell you all. Thanks to all of you...my assistant coaches...you make it all worthwhile!

It's been a while since I posted, but I am still in on this challenge! I had a not so good extended weekend at home, so my weight is up a tiny bit - 150.7 (up from 150.5). That's a lot better than I thought it would be though; it's good to know that I can essentially maintain while eating "normally" (with my new lifestyle changes) at home.

I went for a nice run this morning 28 minutes running and 3.2 miles total, including warm up and cool down. My eating is off to a great start today as well - a yummy double fiber english muffin!

EZ - CONGRATULATIONS! You did it! Will you still stick around? I hope so

thanks so much caroline.... i shall see how it goes now ive packed in smoking again (i had started back up for a week or so, today is day one with no nicotine) i just hope my metabolism doesnt totall freak out!

if i can get to 195 by my holidays i will be happy

i think i have finally come to terms with the fact that this isnt a race and im not gonna lose it in 4 weeks and keep it off. i need to stop looking for a quick fix and just adjust everything to a liveable level... the weight is coming off me slowly but surely!

Hi Everyone!
EZ, congratulations!!

As for me, I actually feel better! I got on the treadmill for 30 minutes so far today, which was awesome for me... since standing was a big deal the last few days. I missed physical activity sooooo much, but I'm back, baby!
Good luck to everyone, and let's keep it going.
Hugs, Dena

Just a quick pop in. Paula, wow you're doing great! Yeah, I used to think I'd lose it all quickly but finally realized that slow and steady wins the race.

Good job Gary! You'll be at goal very, very soon -- I just know it.

Have been eating OP and exercising great all week. My muscles are sore from yesterday's wt. w/out, esp. my chest and triceps. Could only dig one hole yesterday -- muscles too tired -- but what a hole it was! All 9 arbs are in and look great. Spent the day doing yard/garden stuff w/hubby and am bushed.

Am hoping to see a loss this weekend but don't feel like I've lost. Hmmm, we'll have to see. Gotta go!!
