Hey y'all! I am still holding at 141.0. I did Group Ride and then came home and mowed my lawn. Eating has been on plan, so I'm doing all I can.

Good work, everyone!

Unhappy Tryin' to stay at it

Was REALLY tired yesterday so I only got 2 laps in at the park. Do you ever get that way? Just physically worn out? I felt lucky to get the 2 laps in. Of course the scale didn't show it this am but that's okay, won't count the scale until next week now. Going to try to get some laps in tonight, another baseball game and looks like it's going to rain, even though none is forecast so we'll see. Still feeling pretty 'yuck' so maybe another good night's sleep will shake this feeling. Otherwise eating has been on track and taking a day off on Thursday, maybe that will help too just get caught up on other stuff that's been on my plate for a long time.

Hope all have a good evening, stay on track and just keep moving - Margie

Definitely. There are days when I feel like I can't make it through my workout. Good for you for getting some walking in anyway!

I was able to get 5.5 miles in today with the dogs and treadmill. I ended up skipping breakfast again...dang! For lunch I had some leftover whole wheat spaghetti and florentine spinach & cheese sauce from Classico...no bread!

ALLISON ~ Angie has been going through the strawberries like crazy! great job on the loss...have fun on "The Beach"

WardHog ~Trying to get nephew to mow my grass..he must have enough $$ this week.

MARGIE ~ If you didn't get worn out you wouldn't be human. We all get tired and exhausted from time to time. You just need to push through it...the better shape we get in the better we feel physically and emotionally...hugs!

Hi all! Did well yesterday and today exercise-wise and just ok food-wise. Got 25 min incline interval workout on the TM in and a 1.5mile doggie walk today. Food was great till around 2:30pm or so; then for some reason I got really, really hungry. I ate some granola which is waaaay too high cal. Didn't eat much but then felt sickish afterward. That was over two hrs ago and I'm ok now. Dinner is baked chicken, mashed spuds and green beans. Yum!

Our nine (count 'em, nine!) arborvitaes are coming tomorrow morning. I've been digging out grass and leveling flagstone today and will be a-diggin' me some tree holes tomorrow. Hopefully we can get them in and backfilled b/4 the rain on Thursday.

Wardhog, good for you for holding the numbers!

Margie -- oh yes, somedays it's all I can do to just get through the day let alone any exercise. Just do what you can on these days!

Coach EZ - 5.5 miles? WTG!! I need to add in some longer cardio. Where o where will I find the time?

Let's keep on track tonight and feel great about it tomorrow!!

Woo hoo! Kept the 1/2 pound off and the scale was undecided between staying at that weight or going down another 1/2 pound. So I'll give myself credit for losing the half pound. If the scale decides to stay down the other half pound tomorrow, I'll wait to count it then.
Do you think that helping take apart a metal bunk bed and carrying parts and mattresses downstairs then helping carry a heavy metal queen bed, boxspring and mattress from one room to another counted as exercise for me last night? I certainly think it helped.
Down 1/2 and 4 1/2 to go.

EZ - good job on getting all the exercise in. Wow, how do you make time for that much exercise.

Hat Trick You may have gone off track a little with the granola, but it sounds like you got right back on track. Great job with the exercise.

Thumbs up

Hi all!

Yesterday, was a rest day for me. No exercise! I really needed a break because my allergies are killing me. I did manage to stay OP with my diet. I even changed it up a bit so boredom wouldn't set in.

Today, I completed 4 miles on the treadmill and plan to do at least 30 mins of pilates before bed. So far, I haven't eaten anything that I regret. You heard it here first....Today, is a good day!! Ohhh...and so far I've lost .5 lbs. Monday's weigh-in wasn't as joyful as I hoped but any lost is an improvement! Thanks again to everyone for your support! I just can't say that enough because it means so much to me!

Finally! As of this morning I'm at 197.8, which means that my plateau is officially broken, and I think I'm officially in onederland for good. Also, I'm down 2 out of 5 pounds. Now to go work out! Hope everyone has a great Wednesday.

Ok, I didn't even remotely follow my own advice last night and ate waaay off plan. Really way off plan. Like, don't even bother counting the cals off plan. Oh well, whats done is done. However odd this may sound I feel much, much better today than I have for the past few days. Maybe my body was in 'junk food denial shock'? Don't know. Am back on track today. Hey, go read the 'How Do You Avoid Hunger?' thread in here. Bluetoblue gave some absolutely excellent suggestions on avoiding hunger and such. She is ACES!!

Our arbs are here. They couldn't get them back to where they are going (no room to drive the truck back) so the guy is dropping of a handtruck later for us to use. Hopefully we can get them into the backyard w/out too much trouble. They are beauts!

Just had some Total Cranberry crunch cereal and am off to pull grass and start digging some holes. Need to do my wts today and get in a dog walk. Its suppose to rain the next 2 days here so I'm trying to get everything in today.

My mantra today -- 'stay OP; stay OP'.

CONGRATULATIONS THISTOO! I think you are in onderland FOREVER! too! Have a great work-out

Well I have great news too My scale read 174.6 this morning! That puts me at 4 pounds down since I started this thread and 1.5 since yesterday. I have been watching my portion sizes ~ drinking a lot more water ~ getting a lot of miles in and probably the biggie for me....watching my alcohol intake! 1 glass of merlot yesterday ~ 2 beers on Monday and 1 glass of wine and 2 beers on Sunday ~ 4 beers for Saturday which was actually good for me

I realize that I am closer to 175 than 173 but I am going to work hard to beat 174 down! He is not my friend

HAVE AN AWESOME DAY GALS!

Gary, that's great news! You've almost hit your guaranteed five pounds! Watching my alcohol intake makes a big difference for me too (and might have had something to do with my latest plateau -- too much wine). I haven't had any since Friday, though I've thought about it a couple times. So I feel your pain, but I know you're going to kick 174 to the curb soon.

Did great yesterday with cals and exercise! That was a big deal for me, since my hubby took a vacation day (long overdo). But when he's home, I usually get side-tracked. This time I stuck to my regular routine of planning my meals and getting on the treadmill. We still ran around, had fun, and enjoyed the rest of the day, so it was a good day for both of us.

EZ, congrats to you on your weightloss!!

Hey everyone!

I had a really great day yesterday - 1370 calories and all very healthy things. I need to throw in more fruits and vegetables, but I need to go grocery shopping first. I'm in college though, so this involves biking to the grocery store and back, which can be kind of a hassle to carry everything.

I'm going to bump up the calories a little today since the past 2 days have been lowish, I'll try to stay around 1700 or so. I went out for lunch today with my boyfriend and I had a nice tuna sandwich. I couldn't finish it though because it was so big! For dessert, my bf got a pudding parfait - 1170 calories (he's a stick)! I was proud of myself; I only had one small bite and I was done (especially after reading the nutrition information!). It was quite delicious though.

I did 30 minutes on the elliptical this morning and sweat up a storm! I think its because I've been doing more running and haven't gotten on the elliptical in a while, so I had to get used to it again. I was also going a bit faster and harder than I did before.

Den@ - Great job of staying on plan while the hubby was home!

thistoo - Yay for staying away from the wine! You can do it!

EZ - Congrats on the loss! You're almost to 5 pounds!!

Hat Trick - Don't worry too much about one day off plan. The important thing is that you're back on track today!
