OK, I started this challenge at 176.5. I last posted the 8th of May and had gone down to 175. Since then I've bounced around between 175 & 176

This is the way it goes for me, so no surprises. I did say I was going to take awhile.
No loss - no gain, typical weekend for me. I did get in my walk today
I have a conference for work the next 3 days, so it will be a challenge to stay OP. I ordered vegetarian entrees, which are usually very healthy (veggies and tofu mostly) so I have my
I just have to stay away from the pastry table
Soul - your hair is absolutely gorgeous!
Paula - you are going to look amazing at that wedding!
Enjoy your Sunday evening! I'm off to get some sewing (alterations) done on some new clothing - it really is a PAIN being short sometimes!
good to see everyone walking this weekend, how wonderful!
i got in a 3 mile walk this weekend and some dancing at the wedding.
it was FABULOUS, bit bizarre being filmed by big cameras and sound mic's but we tried to forget they were there... the wedding reception was amazing, it was Las Vegas themed and there were hige copies of the las vegas sign, filmstar prints, a live rat pack singer and Dice, Roulette and black jack tables with real croupiers...we all got £2000 in fake money as we entered...
it was wonderful and i really enjoyed it..
right im off to do some gardening! see you all later and ill post a pic of the wedding
Decided to change my cardio today and tried a Billy Blanks tape that my SIL gave me (she's cleaning out). I have a few of his bootcamp tapes but these are older, circa 1998 or so. The first was was 27 min but it included 5 mins of warmup and cooldown and it was just getting my HR really up there when he stops! So I popped in another one (8 min w/out) which was really only 5 mins of exercise but it bought my total to a good 25-28 min workout. Was sweating and breathing harder so it did some good. Am going to take the dog out for a long walk today and will likely do some more yard work.
Am off to contact the insurace company about the car. Now that the dust has settled, um I am very mad about the whole thing. Not really at my daughter -- although somewhat (maybe more than I'd care to admit) -- but just that it happened at all. Grrrr . . . such is life I suppose.
Morning everyone. Welcome, gabbn! This is a great group and we're always glad to add new faces to our ranks!
I don't want to talk about what the scale says this morning. I have been keeping on top of my workouts, but my eating sort of got out of control this past week. I had pizza last night, which is a really, really bad idea, as it turns out. I feel terrible this morning from the carb hangover.
But I worked out for an hour this morning anyway, and today's a new day, so I'll get back on track. I'll let you know when I'm brave enough to step on the scale again.
Hey everyone! The day I thought would never come has arrived! Three short weeks ago, I was feeling down and out. (Refer to the quote below)

But thanks to EZ's Challenge and support from all of you, I have reached my second mini-goal! 5 more pounds gone forever!
I think I might just stick around and work off the next 5 lbs. Since there's a guarantee and everything!
Gary, this 5 pound weight loss idea of yours was brilliant! I am down 6.6 pounds since starting . My problem hasn't been about losing but about maintaining. I have lost weight in the past but could never keep it off. Now I am doing it . I reached goal in December and in May am below goal by 4 pounds.
