Well I didn't beat the rain, so my lawn remains unmowed. I also didn't succeed in staying off the scale this morning, but I have (unofficially, of course) lost a pound, so fingers crossed I don't find it again!

OK, I have my ticker set....babysat Thursday night and Friday so I didn't get a chance to do it any earlier.

I am getting ready to go for my walk and I have been drinking water and watching calories. I weigh on Mondays and Thursdays, anymore than that I make myself crazy and I don't need much help!!

Everyone is doing so great and this seems like a very encouraging group which is always helpful to stick with something!!

I've been working super hard this week and it's paying off. I am at 189 so that is a 4 pound loss, one more and I can say I got my guaranteed result!

Good workout this morning - Group Ride class + 52 more minutes of cardio. I stayed on plan yesterday and I'm on track for today.

Keep up the good work, everyone!

HI GALS ~

Dinner went well last night. I had a pasta and shrimp dish that I split and brought the other half home for lunch. Angie ended up splitting a meal with my former wife.

Angie has Saturday school today so I was solo with the mutts for 4 miles, then added 2 more on the treadmill this morning.

Oh and I was down to 176.8 this morning ...not bad since I started this thread at a high 178.8.....2/5 of the 5 pound goal...saying bye-bye to 178 and 177...they were not my friends

Dena ~Hope you did 1/2

WebRover ~ Bummer on that salty 2!

mrsaugie ~way to stay on track! and get that 2.6

Bargoo ~ When I hit 200 it was quite a shck for me...like I didn't see it coming .....shows we both have work to do!

thistoo ~I don't see that pound anywhere! He was not your friend either!

Jules ~ I hope you had a great walk

Cat ~Thanks for working so hard so I won't look like a liar

WardHog ~ awesome

We are starting to see some progress...isn't that just way cool!

Ate on plan yesterday. But I forgot to weigh this morning! Drat. I really want to know how much of that "salt" weight I dropped. Oh, well, all I can do is stay on plan again today and weigh tomorrow. Still 7 to go.

Forgot to mention - Did a two mile walk this morning. Haven't been walking for a couple of week's due to DH's foot problem.

10K went well...but I won a pie in the post race raffle. And not just any pie...a COSTCO humungous pie. We are having guests for dinner so that will take care of some of the pie and then it needs to be frozen for some other occasion.

What a bizarre prize for a 10K raffle! But at least you don't have to bake now. Send some pie home with your guests; that's how I get rid of dessert when I entertain.

I did 30 minutes of Shape's Bikini Boot Camp DVD this morning, then went on an hour-long bike ride up the Tennessee hills. My legs hurt, but it's worth it if the scale goes down again! Now I have to go do my grocery shopping for the week. That is probably my least favorite chore. Well, maybe second least after vacuuming.

I did well yesterday and stayed within my calorie range.

Today seems to be going fine. In fact, I really don't feel like eating. DH and I finally got the answer we were waiting for (in regards to the stress I've been under that was making me eat too much), it's not the answer we were hoping for, but at least the waiting is over (it was job related.)

I hope everyone is having a great weekend! It's drizzling here. No sun today, bummer!

jules - that calorie counting will pay off. I can't imagine losing weight any other way

ahh bible study, lovely name for it!

Today its cloudy but VERY warm in england.... we have an issue with one of our cats, she is long haired and every time she uses the litter tray she gets stuff stuck in her tail... as you can imagine it is very unpleasant... dont know what to do with her?

i am down to 207 today, the scale jumped between 206.8 and 207 but i'll take the higher number to be on the safe side... that means i am down 4.6 pounds so far!

Paula, you are doing awesome.

I have a long hair cat too and I shave her backside to keep her from getting 'litter box residue' stuck in her fur. You could crop your cat's tail short to try to alleviate the problem. She might look a little less beautiful, but it would save you some headaches.

Here's hoping everyone is having a wonderful Sunday! I did an hour of circuit training this morning and now I am going to go get ready for work.

I am still reeling with the realization that at 204 pounds I was heavier than a 6 foot tall man at 201 pounds. I think I was actually more than 204 but I have that figure documented on old WW attendance book. I never want to see 204 again, heck, I never want to see 130 again! I am holding my own today. My ticker and scale agree.

Happy Sunday!
I did great over the weekend so far. Friday nite we went out to The Cheesecake Factory and I only ate my soup, 1/4 sandwich and a little bit of salad. Ate the leftovers for lunch on Saturday. I also got on the treadmill both days. This morning hubby and I got up early, had our morning coffee and took a drive before our breakfast and enjoyed the lovely morning. I'm determined to do great today... even though we have to get the bills done. That's when I usually get stressed.
Good luck to all!!
Hugs, Dena
