Welcome back Bubbly, it's good to have you back, and I'm so glad you've got yourself another target event to lose for.

Moonchild, also welcome back, I missed you, I was wondering where you were.

I've had a pretty good weekend with regards to plan, I have been really good! I have also discovered the delights of Skinny Cow ice cream and have become addicted to the mint choc chip flavour. It is totally yummy!

I've had a hard couple of weeks personally, and work stress is horrible, but I seem to be staying strong and managing to eat according to plan. I love Slimming World hehe. On Friday night on of my friends said he wanted to congratulate me on looking great! Hehe I blushed loads. Still feeling kinda fat but my body image is improving. I do believe I am getting a waist.

Also forgot to say I got my club ten award last week, yay!!!

Helen, good for you, congrats on the club 10, thats fab! And getting compliments is even better. Gives you a real boost.

I've been good so far today, had 3 glasses of water and a diet coke so far, fruit for breakfast and a tomatosoup with WW bread for lunch. Going to walk the 2nd half of my lunchbreak with one of my collegues and go to the boxing tonight....yay me! lol

Ooh - its just like the old days - every one sounds really positive! I think you have to have your head in that frame of mind otherwise its so easy to just give in and to say 'What the ****!'

I've got WI tonight and for the first time in ages I'm not dreading it - god knows I may have lost a wee pound - if I disapper for a few weeks after that comment - i'm in the pub lol...and not drinking slimlines!

I've just had a fab lunch thanks to good ole Ainsley - just wish he'd actually come round and cook it - ah thats another website I think lol!

So anyway it was Ainsley's Citrus kick couscous with some left over ratatouille from last night - works out at less than 1 syn for a massive bowl full and dead easy to do at work if you've got access to a microwave.

Tonight will be chicken stir fry - i use a Blue dragon sauce which is 8 syns for the sachet but does 2 portions and makes it taste like a real chinese so worth it.

So i'll drop by later and let you know how it goes - in the meantime I'm at home waiting for Littlewoods to collect part of a bed they delivered wrongly- I'm still waiting for the part I need to finish the bed to turn up - poor daughter currently sleeping on a matress cos I tipped the old one - aint life great!!!

Oooh Bubbly - the couscous sounds nice!

My friend and I tried a recipe in a magazine that involved capsicum peppers cut in half, brush in oil (or you can spray oil on them) grilled 5 mins each side. In the meantime cook chopped onion in a pan with oil, add courgette sliced, then add a pack of couscous, stir and add 200ml hot water. Then cover and stand 1 minute. While these were cooking we sliced up mushrooms and cooked them in a little veg stock. When peppers ready, put the courgette/cosucous mix in the haved peppers and put a few slices of light mozzarella on top. The grill until melted.

Put on a plate and pour over the mushrooms.

Lovely! We were greedy so used 3 peppars (that's 6 halves (cos I can count!) between 2!!!!

Bubbly good luck for the WI, got mine tomorrow. Bit mixed feelings about it. As of monday I have been really good, but last week was a bit of a disaster. So keeping all fingers crossed.

Made the honeyed orange chicken the other day it was absolutely lovely. had it with ainsley sticky thai rice...yummmmmmm. Had a mince rice mushroom mix tonight, that was lovely as well.

Helen, better maintaining than gaining! I know how you feel tho, I've been creeping around the 17st mark forever now, and just can't seem to crack it. Got my WI tonight, so we'll see what that brings. Don't let TOM get u down (easier said than done lol)....

Hi! I just started slimming world on monday. So far so good! I had a sneaky look at the scales today and I haven't lost a thing. But, I'm sure itll be ok on monday! I have done slimming world before and it worked for me then.
At the moment I'm doing slimming world with my old books and notes. I am hoping to join my local meeting when I can switch over to daytime work.

Morning all, well WI wasn't great, I actually gained 2lb. Grrrr, I actually hoped to loose or maintain, but I guess last week was a bit much after all. Oh well, I'm going to stay on track, didn't have anything naughty last night, so I hope I will be fine next week. Got a family dinner on Saturday, but I will stick to the plan!

Bryden, welcome here! I'm sure you will do well till monday, don't get obsessed with those scales ;o)

Thanks Moonchild!

I have a birthday night out to go to tonight. I think I'll be keeping to the diet cokes with single measures. I'm going to make that rosti pizza tonight instead of my usual takeaway.

I'm back, sorry I wasn't around much since last weeks weigh in the work computers were down on Friday and then I've not had chance to be on till now. I'm feeling much better now, this is going to be a hard week coming up plan-wise, I'm away on a conference for work for 2 days so I won't be able to post then, and then its my birthday next weekend and we have a few birthday meals happening.

Kind of on plan at the moment, it's a bit hard but I'm getting there. How was your weekend?

Hi Ladies, sorry, haven't been on in a couple of days, but been madly busy. Anyway....weekend was so so....Had a chinky for dinner on friday, not too bad. Went to Glasgow on Saturday and had Starbucks Hot choc and a skinny muffin for breakfast....which I enjoyed sooo much lol. Had dinner with the inlaws at TGI's. Had potato skins and Chicken Fajitas....Sunday I was a good girl, made the tikka massala sauce from my recipes, was ok, but not too great to be honest.

So I have to be good the rest of the week, and so far I've managed well. Been to the boxing yesterday as well and have walked 30 mins during luchbreak. Can't do that today tho, have an interview at 4, so will miss the boxing class probably. But will go back tomorrow.

Bryden, did u make the rosti pizza? How was it?

Helen, Im sure you will be fine.... I know it's extra hard now before xmas...temptation is just everywhere!!!

Hey everyone! 1lb loss this week. However, I have to admit there was a bit more alcohol then planned on the weekend.

Moonchild - The rosti pizza worked well. I enjoyed it alot. I am planning to make it again on friday as I will be finishing work early! Good luck with your interview.

Well done Bryden, a loss is a loss, no matter how small. Going to make the rosti pizza as well on friday, what did u put on it, did u make it like a proper pizza?

Interview went well I think, the bloke that interviewed me seemed more nervous than me. Hope it works out, would be an improvement....I need to get out of this callcenter!!!!!

Foodwise has been so so yesterday. Because I went home early I had lots of time on my hands and everytime I am home alone I NEED to snack. Was on a red day yesterday, so had some chicken for lunch, but had some nachos afterwards. Hopefully it won't have too much effect...dont have that many syns left....
