Aw Lou I know how that feels, I had a month off exercise last year because I had an evil infection that I couldn't shift, I'm sure you'll be feeling better soon.
MC I know what you mean, I always get down if I don't lose as much as I wanted to, I am gradually learning that a small loss is better than no loss.
I've done something silly in that I've worked out that if I lose just under 2 pounds a week I'll be at target by August, it's silly because whenever I have an aim or a target I always mess it up. I'm fed up of messing up though so lets see how it goes hehe!

Helen, I know what you mean, setting myself a goal is just a waste of time, cause I always blow it....I'll have a goal in my head and if I make that I'm pleased.
Lou, I hope you feel better soon, chestinfections are nasty...brrrrr. Fea well done on the loss, thats fab....only 3lb to go to your revised minigoal!!! You must be well pleased.
My plan of not having any naughties in the house seems to be working so far, the only thing I've been snacking on is snackajacks lol. Made a nice Tagliatelle with arrabiata sauce last nite and put some chicken mini fillets on the george....was absolutely delicious and super easy.
I am so fed up, I maintained this week, I know a maintain is better than a gain but I'd worked hard and exercised and really felt I'd done well. I'm stuck just about the 15 stone mark which is where I got stuck in November and only just got passed it before I put my weight on over Christmas. I hate 15 stone!!!
Helen, sorry you didnt loose, but just look at these pictures, what a difference!!!! I know its hard to get that through slimmers thick skulls, but you've come far, so dont give up.
yup helen i know just a few more lb & were in the 14's... (i did get to 13st 4lb grrrrr!!!!)
your georgous... !!!... have you got any old clothes? go and try them...remember how tight they were & how you felt... compared to now...

Well, just back from my WI and I only lost 1 lb....I know I know, a loss is a loss, but I expected more from it. But I will try to cut out on bread this week, so hopefully that will help. She let us try the ryvitas with fruit, mmmmmhhh they were quiet nice, and 2 for a Bchoice...will definetely get them with my next shopping trip......
Well done on the loss Moonchild. I like those ryvita minis, the salt and vinegar ones, never really fancied the fruit ryvitas. Went to BLT last night and it was packed, everyone feeling the post Christmas flab I guess lol!

I'm still annoyed about the small loss, but I'm not going to give in. I'll stay on track, and hopefully the next WI will be a lot better. Don't have any meals coming up anytime soon, so I should be fine. Will probably go out for lunch tomorrow, but definetely stay on plan. Hopefully the weather will be ok again this weekend, so we can go for a nice walk somewhere.....
could possibly be xmas gains still catching up with us... so stick with it... it will show in the end... ???
think i will only loose 1/2 lb this week.... oh well not supprised the cough meds i looked at the lable.. 4g sugar / 5ml!!!!.... YUK!!. far toooo sweet for me!.. though my teeth were going to fall out!!...

Hi guys, had my WI on wednesday - lost 3 and a half pound, it was my first week but i did have a night out where i spent 36.5 syns on vodka!
Not going too well this week, work are starting to give me lunch for example today pasta (which id fine) but a beautiful fat bread roll with butter and some chocolate cake!! ARGHH!
I did eat it so not so much vodka for me this weekend!
