Hi gals, deeply ashamed, but I'm back. Have been off programm for about 3 weeks now and haven't been to a meeting either. Been eating like its going out of fashion! I dont even want to know how much weight I've put on. I guess that last weigh in did it to me. First I've lost 4 lb and been good after that, and then I gained 2 again. Thats when I fell off the bandwagon. But my determination is slowly coming back, and once I'm back at work I'll start with the new and improved regime. Starting back at work on the 3rd, which is a Thursday, that gives me a week to kickstart and I'll be going to my meeting again on the 10th. Will again stay for the meetings, cause since I stopped staying, my weightloss wasn't as great anymore. Boxing is starting back on the 7th, so thats good as well

Hope you all had a good christmas. Don't know if I'll have the time to post again till I'm back at work, otherwise I whish you all a happy new year.

Oh by the way, does anyone have the pw for the website? I got an email yesterday that I need to log in, otherwise they delete my account

Welcome back MC, don't worry we both fell off the wagon but we'll get back on it I'm sure. My friend is coming over tonight and I've decided that today will be my last unhealthy day (apart from New Years Eve). I feel frumpy and fat again lol. I also don't know if I'll be able to post much till the 7th but if I can I will. I've really missed going to the gym this week.

Sorry I don't know the password, I don't go to classes so I have my own seperate password. Have a good New Year!

Shcok, horror! I weighed myself after Christmas and I am back to my all time high (why am I surprised about this???!!!) of 15 stone - I am only half a stone less than my Dad!!! The SW lady who rang me before I mweighed myself asked what my ideal weight would be and I said 9st. There was a long silence after that (probably had to haul herself off the floor!!!).

Well I am back on the blummin' cottage cheese.

I made a great start yesterday when I refused 'celebrations' - for some reason I am off chocolates! Stange but I am very greatful for that!

Hello everyone.

Im new to 3FC but not to SW. I followed SW for about 8 months and lost 1½ stone by Dec 06. But then I started a new job and wasnt able to get to meetings regular enough and so slipped in to the same old bad habits and have since gained all but 4lb of the weight I lost.

Im looking forward to eating well and seeing the weight fall off and my clothes become loose but Im worried about not sticking to the plan without attending weekly meetings.

I attend uni full time and also have a full time job so I dont think Im going to be able to attend meetings as well

Does anyone follow the plan without attending meetings and how do you find it?

Ive set myself a mini goal for Valentines day. See ticker

Well hello all you strangers and new people....I'm back!

The end of last year was not a particularly good one for me as many of you will know - however Xmas is out of the way and i have got to get myself back on track.

I haven't even logged in here for the past couple of months - i guess I didn't want to be reminded of how far off the path I was venturing! Still it all begins again -i'm back upto 17st 1 which is annoying but no real surprise and thats still 3 1/2 stone lighter than i was when i joined SW. I've spent today with a couple of other SW buddies really getting each other motivated and we've come up with our 10 point plan:

1. Celebrate where we're currently at (12 stone loss between 3 of us is no fluke!)

2. This is a New Year and fresh start
3. Go to class and stay at class
4. Only get weighed at class and stop trying to second guess it all.
5. Plan weekly menus
6. Be prepared for supper time - have those par boiled chips ready to go!!
7. Learn to salsa!
8. Go for a weekly swim
9. Be realistic and not expect to drop 1/2 stone just cos stuck to it for a day!!!
10. Meet up monthly with the girls to share tears and fears and the odd glass of wine!

Feel free to nick any of these especially the salsa dancing and then maybe next NY Eve - we'll all be shaking our bootys!!!

Love Bubbly xx

Bubbly,

So good to see you back!!!! Your 10 point plan is definetely a great plan, will try and follow it as well.....I was just thinking about the last year, I've been dieting the whole year and only lost 2 stone (probably 1 1/2 stone at the moment) which is actually really pathetic. I'll definetley try and do these 2 stones plus hopefully another stone or two.......decided to not go to my meeting tonight. Will start a detox on Sunday together with my other half. Do that for 3 days and then go to my meeting on Thursday.

I'm not a Slimming World girl butI love to see how everyone is doing. I loved yor ten point plan, and your weight loss is far from pathetic. Keep up the good work.
I might even have a swim later.

Hi Girls, I put on another pound this week, I expected it so although I'm gutted I've put 5 pound on over Christmas I also expected it. I started again on New Years day and have been really good since. I'm still not exercising but next week I will be back in the gym and going to my classes. I bought myself the free food recipe book after Christmas and have found it really inspirational, I've even been cooking which is something I usually leave to Chris to do.

I'm sitting here in front of my log fire trying to warm myself up hehe. The ten point plan seems really good, I think I'll try some of it. I realise now that I won't be at target for when I go to Russia (26th April), because that'd mean losing 4.5 stone between now and then, but I am determined to be slim enough to fit into some decent clothes and fit enough to be able to run aroun the sports fields with the kids.

Fea, I stick to the plan without doing the classes, I do my Slimming World by the internet I find it works really well for me. It means I have the time to go to the gym in the evenings. My friend goes to classes as she has a theory that you lose moreif you attend the class simply
because going regularly keeps you accountable, but I find that posting here and telling family and friends about my weigh in keeps me on track. I guess it's about finding what works for you.

Has anyone had any snow yet? We haven't but I hope we do overnight!

Hi Helen

We had snow all morning. It had cleared and became wet, cold and hailstone-y by late afternoon though.

Im hoping to do the same as you and do the plan on the net. Does it cost the same? Ive left DH to do some cooking for me with some SW recipes and hes been doing great. He doesnt usually cook but he loves it now hes tried it. Hes called Chris too lol.

Your trip to Russia sounds great. And good luck with your loss. Im sure you'll do great. Now we have Christmas and New Year over Im sure we can stick to it

I fell off the wagon big time. I haven't even weighed myself. I'm too scared. From my belt loops I have predicted a 5lb gain. I am going to weigh myself in a week on weds. I gain weight soo quickly and My food habits in the last month have been rediculous.

However, I am back on plan. Determined this time. I haven't got much money for extras this month. Which means no luxuries of going out for meals or drinking with friends. So hopefully that will help me even more!

I think I will be sticking to green days for a while until my body gets used to a lower amount of carbs. I have even been finding myself craving chocolate over the last week and that is NOT me. Chocolate isn't my thing. It's jelly sweets :]

Good luck girls!

OOHH its good to be back - enjoyed reading what you're allup to. For allof us that gained over Christmas - panic ye not - thats what Christmas is all about - just leave it behind and go forward.

Stuck to plan all day... now this is where i start congratulating myself with rewards!!! So thought I'd use my hands better on here! Then off to bed!

Made a really quick tea that the kids absolutely loved - if I'd have told them what it was they'd have pulled faces!

fryed up some onion and mushrooms with a tbsp of Pataks curry pate (tikka masala - 2 syns between us all!) tin of tomatoes, bit of water and chicken style quorn pieces - served up with brown rice - delic!!! have a go!

And then my SW buddy dropped round with a bean shepherds pie all ready made for our tea tomorrow night as she knows I always rush in and out on a Friday between work and the kids swimming training - now thats a good friend!!

Still feeling up for this!!!

xx

Oh I'm jealous of the snow, I love snow. I lived in Russia for a few months and a snowless English winter just isn't the same lol!!

Fea, it costs me around £20 a month I think, but if you buy a few months in advance it works out cheaper. The only problem I have with the online system is that some of the foods syn values aren't on there, I got really frustrated about it so I bought the Food Directory for £8 and that solved all my missing syns, I had a few shocks too hehe. I'd recommed the book for anyone on Slimming World.

That dinner sounds really nice Bubbly, Chris made me a pasta dinner, yummy!!

I've mainly stuck to plan the last couple of days, I have dipped into a couple of naughty leftovers from Christmas but they've all gone now and I won't be buying any naughties. I don't think I'll lose next week but I am back on track

It's good to see all the new people on here, I hope you all stick around it's nice to have lots of people to chat to. Bryden you'll be back on the wagon in no time
