Welcome crazybaby....I'm sure you'll find good support on this site and lots of good ideas.

Well I had my meeting last night and guess what? I maintained my weight! The scale was even jumping between 17st13.5 and 18....woohooo, and that after all the synning I've done over the last few days. I'm sooooooo relieved! Another reason to get back on the bandwagon. So I made myself a nice big fritata for lunch today, it looks yummie and it's really hard not to nibble on it yet.

Well done on the maintenance Moonchild...AND you're tipping into the 17stones

What's a fritata and if it's so yummie could you please post the recipe and how many syns etc. I'm trying to liven up my diet at the moment...I'm eating too much of the same stuff and starting to get bored and so I'm eating more love ff x

Thanx everyone for the warm welcome
Have just enjoyed Asda veggie burgers (gorgeous), quorn sausage, SW chips & baked beans for me tea...it was yum! And not a syn in sight! Hold on...i can feel me halo slipping lol.
Anyway the scales will tell on Tuesday.
The hardest part for me is when my daughter (who works part time in between college at a bakers shop) brings home freebies....fresh bread, cakes etc. THATS when the real test of will power comes in!

Default Checkin' In

Hi all

Sounds like evryones doing Ok - just stick in there - i think we have to accept that we're gonna go off the rails at some points in life because that's normal- thats what people do...they just don't then get all guilty and continue eating the house!!

Thats all the preamble to the fact that I've had an illicit affair with Pizza Hut and the Chinese this week so far!!! Whoops!!

But I have upped the exercise to doing at least an hours walking each day so with any luck I may get away with it at weigh in on Wed. I'll be ultra good from now on!!

so keep up the battle girls - and eventaully we'll get there x

Well a fritata is a bit like an omelette. The way I did mine....absolutely syn free on a green day, you can mix up the ingredients. What I used in mine:
1 sliced (cooked) bake potato (or some leftover potatoes)
some leftover pasta (I used Penne)
3 Eggs
some milk and some fromage frais
1 red chilli
Lots of different spices to taste

Spray pan with frylight and fry the potatoes and pasta for a few minutes to make them a bit crisp. Mix the egg with some milk and fromage frais and pour over the potato pasta mix. Let it set on medium heat for a few minutes until the bottom is to your liking. spice it to your liking and put under the grill....done! I 've also tried it with 42g LF cheddar before putting it under the grill and its scruuuummmyyyyy!!!! I just took it to work and warmed it up in the microwave...can also be eaten cold.

I've been to the gym everyday since friday and feel great. I've just been way too lazy the last couple of weeks. I hope the scales will show it on Thursday....

Default Ooh sounds great!

Fab thanks Moonchild -i've been looking for this recipee for a while - keep buying fromage frais and never actually using it lol!!!

I'm going to do that for tea tomorrow night with beans - think the kids will go for it!

i've tried tonight the Ainsley Harriet Couscous - morroccon flavour tonight -added in lots of chopped toms, mush, peppers, courgettes and it was absolutely delicious.

Free on green - I also added in a couple of bits of tika chicken fillets - chopped up (sainsburys) -but would be as good without.

it amazes me how much I actually prefer this type of food but then still binge out on crisps and biccies when I'm possessed- bizarre!

Hey Bubbly, let me know how u like it. I'm not using much fromage, just a tablespoon or so.

You're right, I enjoy lots of SW food to no end (synfree chips, synfree crisps, homemade rochers) but then again fall of the wagon and eat absolute crap....human minds work strange....

I'm thinking of giving the online Slimming World a try, the body optimise section, I realise I find it easier to stick to a eating plan than to just be counting my calories, so it looks like I'll be joining you girls here
