Goooood Morning Ladies!

Things are pretty OK here... I go for the "procedure" tomorrow. And Off to Seattle the following week! I'm excited for that. I'd wish I were skinnier for the trip but at least I'm 20 lbs skinnier than I was last time I saw my family. I'm staying on track. I got my tapes for learning Morse Code and now I'll have something to do while I'm on the treadmill or ellipticalto help whittle away the time.

Happy Birthday Val!!! And congrats on the job too. And on the kitty placement. I agree with curly, don't stress too much about those 2lbs, just keep on watching your intake. If you really have had to cut down on your activity, maybe try adjusting your cals a lil bit.... I dunno hun... but you are doing a WONDERFUL job and I am sooooo proud of you. (((((((())))))))

Angel & Curly~ You two get to feeling better real soon now. I think Spring has sprung and it's time to smile and get our butts into action. you guys too . lol curly, good think only 2 cookies burned

Petra~ How's the search going? I sure hope you're doing well....

Oh Zoeyyy???~ you've been MIA for a bit too long now. It's about time you pop in for a quick sec

Charlie & Gwena~ Have we lost ya?? Come out come out whereever you are! (hehe or I'll have to keep singing)...

ttfn PIC's ...

Hi PIC's

I got through my first day of work but I have to say it was hard! Working 7 hours, then tutoring for 2 hours, working out at curves then making dinner and cleaning up. *ugh* I'm tired and hungry and over on my calories for the day! This working is going to take some adjustment on my part!

Tuesday: 1877 calories, 810 deficit, 45 minutes curves

Valerie.....Ohhhh, I didn't realize that yesterday was your FIRST DAY!!! yup, I remember it well. Doing errands before work, zipping to the post office on my lunch, laundry at bedtime to dry while getting up.....we've been so thankful that I am able to stay home with the boys right now. I find as they get older they need me more and more. Recently we've gone through some bullying at school, and I don't know (honestly) if I would have picked up on the subtle clues/hints if I was working. I sure do feel for you Valerie. It will take some time to adjust!!! Get yer crock pot out!!!

Thanks Angel!

I've noticed I've been a lot more hungry since I started working. I think it has something to do with wakeing up early and being tired. I did manage to go to work out world after work so I am keeping up with my workouts!

Dee I hope your procedure went well!

Wednesday: 1654 calories, 982 deficit, 35 minutes cardio, 20 minutes weights

Val~ I didn't realize you hadn't already started your new job either. I hope you're enjoying it. I remember getting back to the grind after an extended time off... it was exciting, but getting back into a routine that you, yourself may not have any say-so in, is tough... but remember you can take lil power walks during your lunch and you'll get into a new swing soon! As for that hunger, take some little snacks you can tuck away into your purse and munch on indiscreetly if you need to... try not to let yourself get tooo hungry! Good Luck Val!!!

Angel~ As much as I love kids, and wish I would have had a family, I'm thankful I didn't because I don't know how people can afford to these days.... I think staying home with them is so very important!
~*~Hat's off to ya GF!!!!!!~*~

My lil procedure went great today... was actually very interesting but..... when Dr. said I'd have a little sore throat for a couple days I didn't realize he meant like I just had my tonsils out!!! Drinking water HURTS LOL... well, I actually still have my tonsils so I really can't use that comparison , but I'm a wimp, and it hurts! Hopefully just a day or two tho.

for all the PIC's...

OK Dee, I will pop in for a minute. Hope that your throat is better.

I had to take my computers down in order to paint, so I was off line for awhile and then I have been lurking.

I am still fiddling around with cutting out borders, but I need to get done and get going on some other stuff.

I have been busy with doing an inventory for our church kitchen [pricing everything--current value and replacement vaue]. I did it by the Google and guess method.

I am also working on getting out info for a family reunion that we are having here this summer.

We are still eating mostly Sonoma, but I am going to have to get a little more strict because I have been at the same weight forever.

Hi Zoey! Good to see you here! The sonoma diet sounds interesting! What is your favorite Somoma meal?

My husband talked me into getting pizza tonight so my calories were to high

Friday: 2272 calories, 364 deficit, 35 minutes cardio, 20 minutes weights

Val....That would be a meal with a fruity geen salad made with romaine, apple, pear, toasted pecans, shredded Mozarella, and dried cranberries. The dressing is made with olive oil, lemon juice, salt, onion, splenda and poppy seeds. The main course would be a cabbage, garlic, onion, tomato and lean ground beef casserole. [I mix lean ground beef 1/2 & 1/2 with cracked wheat and use it that way]. Sonoma uses more chicken and fish than ground beef usually. I might also have one slice of homemade whole wheat bread with the meal, depending on what I have had so far that day. No dessert is needed with that salad!
