wooohoooo I MADE THE DAY OP!!!! well wonders never cease!!!
I started my day off with a great breakfast......then a protein snack.....went to workout ......then had a later (than normal) lunch and then a decent dinner. I did have to sit on my hands to resist homemade cookies I baked YESTERDAY..... but I did it!!!! Boy, it feels great to have one complete full day OP.

Petra..... I've been thinking about you all day and have been sending you lots of positive vibes!!! not to mention a prayer or two. I hope everythings okay.

Good news everyone! It turned out to be cyst. Funny how they can't tell that from all those pictures they took! So my ordeal is finally over. Thanks for all the thoughts and prayers. I'm so relieved. And I also heard from the VA Hospital, almost on cue. I have to fill out this 4 page application for them--of course, it's the government, lol. Turns out, they have several positions open including the big cheese job. Somebody is supposed to call me back and give me all the details on all the jobs so I can tell them which ones I want to be considered for. I also have this practice in Laurel, MS which is about 1.5 hours from Biloxi that wants to interview me. I've talked to them on the phone a couple times. It has some pros and cons. I will probably go for the interview and see what I think. I took my dogs out for a nice 1 hour walk today. Cesar would be proud of me, LOL.

Curly-I went and looked up the section on fear aggression for you. He says sometimes it is caused by abuse and the dog has learned to keep harmful humans away by being aggressive but more often it is caused or perpetuated by owners who give affection at the wrong time. When you try to comfort or soothe a dog who is snarling you are reinforcing the behavior. He says you have two choices when they are acting out--wait them out or go in and correct them but if you go in to correct them you have to be prepared to follow through and not get angry. Only reward calm submissive behavior.

I have to say all this walking is doing wonders for Kobe. He is what Cesar calls "hyperactive" . Cesar does recommend using treadmills for dogs who you can't or don't have time to exercise adequately. Kobe actually slept all the way through the night last night.

Petra~ Congratulations! I'm so happy things are looking up for you!! Personally and professionally. Now it's good luck with your job search and interviews. The right decision will come to you.

Val, Curly & Angel~ Yayyyy for the 3 of you staying OP too! You all ROCK!!!!

I'm doing pretty well. Yesterday and today I stayed away from all that nasty stuff that finds it's way into my mouth lol.
And yesterday was an extremely emotional rollercoaster kinda day for me.... One of my regular customers who has this adorable puppy I visit with every day was literally falling down drunk across the street from the store. He was sitting at the bus stop drinking for a couple hours then he stood up and fell several times, thenfell and hit his head... Lucy the dog was licking him... sitting next to him... loving him unconditionally, taking care of him. We had called the sherriff, and my boss located his family but nobody came... finally someone took him home. I was standing there at my register crying off and on all morning... I wanted to stop him, to help him but also knowing there was really nothing I could do for him. He's been in and out of programs for years. Lee is pretty old school AA, and has known this man a long time. He's a nice man and I wanted to call lee and tell him to come get him and help him... but I know better..... It was all soooo sad. AND when he's sobered up again, I'm going to tell him how I felt- Maybe.

There was other stuff going on yesterday too, but that whole incident really bothered me so bad. I had weird dreams about it, and I seldom remember my dreams but this one stuck with me! ANYWAYS through it all I stayed OP!!!!

OK Girlies, this post is about to become a novel lol so I'll say goodnight and

Dee sorry you saw that today. It sounds really sad. But what can you do you know? I was at the bank today when I saw a drunk older man with a cane fall down and then start begging for money. He was like can you help me out. I felt like I wish I could. Good job keeping OP though!

I had my cheat meal today which was pizza so I'm a bit high on calories.

Saturday: 2109 calories, 535 deficit, 35 minutes treadmill, 20 minutes weights

Petra: that is fantastic news!!!!!! shew... thank u big guy! hmmmm i wonder if the fear agresion can be passsed down they had to put chai's momma down cuz they said she was so bad no one could get near her... i got him when he was 3 months old... from a foster group, i know he has never been abused by me.. if anything he is overly SPOILED.. he needs some... mom is the pack leader lessons...
i took him to his vet for a behavioral appointment .. he was fine unil the dr inched his chair over to where he could look him in the eye... then he snarled... but the vet said he would like to see him back without me.... becuz he cant tell if its "chai protecting me" or if its fear agression.. ummm none of my friends wanna try to take him.. and if my mom who he loves took him it would be the same situation...

so for now... i just keep him on lead when we are outside... and tell people not to appraoch him ... chows are famous for being aloof and not wanting strangers to come to them... he got the worst of it cuz the "spitz" are not a friendly breed either.... and he is a spitz/chow ...

Sure doesnt have that lab personality... thats for sure... quite an education for someone who has only had labs... but i was so heart broke when i lost my yellow lab i just couldnt bear to have another... thats when i went to the animal relief fund and found this crazy spitz/chow fluffball...

I had a good day yesterday... stayed OP again... lol practicing for May 1st and the kick off of the "yankee doodle dandy" festivities!!!

a friend came down from DC and we walked this tril that goesd all around the river it was @ 4 miles total .. meaness to follow:::: he was always in shape and telling me how out of shape i was (well i was...but) and halfway thru he is sweating like a big dog! and i am not even warmed up yet HAHAHAHA yes it feels good to be in better shape~~~

Angel: I knew u could do it girlie!~

Val: i am making progress i have gotten your easter eggstravaganza prize into the box!!! i am such a procrastinator! Angel i am gonna go for it and see if i cant ge yours boxed up as well! hahaha I am off thursday afternoon so will make that long 1 mile trip to the post office!!

Dee: thats one thing about pups.... total unconditional love...

~~~~ollie ollie oxen free..... missing pic's~~~~
ohhhhh, we get prizes? ......Curly, how sweet of you!!!!
Thankfully TOM is gone, don't know where he went..... but now I have a stinking HEAD COLD!!! And? not to mention allergies from ****....!!!!! I am such a mess, I tried to stay OP but am sure I didn't stay to my carb/protein ration. I can't even think straight.....so after one more laundry load, I am off to la la beddie bye land. Yesterday was a great day though....ds volunteered at a 1800's style village with his social studies class and had to dress up in period clothing for the "ye olde school house" unfortunately it rained most of the day but they still had lots of activities for the time period. (sheep shearing, general store, tours, music playing, hand lace demo's, spinning, wool carding etc etc....)
