    I'm so tired after a busy. Once again I'm high on calories when working. I just can't get around it. I'm awake longer so I eat more.

    Thusday: 1848 calories, 788 deficit, 35 minutes cardio, 20 minutes weights

    I had my weigh in today and I was down 3 pounds. So it's really only a 1 pound loss after my 2 pound gain last week!

    I'm happy just to see the scale moving again!

    I am soooo happy to say that I finally had a loss also....goodbye 3 lbs this week!! Its amazing, that a good solid OP week can do that. I had forgotten because its been a long time since ...so yeah me!!!

    Curly....how you doing? any desicions on the ebay deal yet?

  • The Relay for Life! .... I walked from 5 pm till 5 am! I walked in memory of my aunt.. The survivors ceremony was really touching.. they made the first lap around the track...

    Our team won 1st place for the best decorated site... and we won a silver award becuz the 19 people on our team collected a total of over 6,000 $ !!

    OK i just took 2 tylenol PMs cuz my legs are just singing! and its not a happy tune... dang i wish i had remembered to wear my pedometer i cant even imagine how many miles i walked... have a great sunday... i have covered my bedroom windows with quilts and once that tylenol kicks in i am gonna be ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ

    Well yesterday we drove the 3 hrs to 12 yo ds college campus for his 3 week course. He is such a fine boy, impressed me to no end with meeting his prof. and school mates by shaking everyone's hand and introducing himself. We did have a slight moment of panic not being able to find him (after only being on campus for 1 hr and after a parents only lecture) WE COULDN'T FIND HIM!!! hehe....of course like I said, it was only 15 minutes but he was finding his way around the dorm and meeting his preceptor. I told him...."anytime is a good time to call your Mom" AND HE DID!!! He called me at bedtime last night, and at wakeup call this morning. I didn't think he would take me 'literally' but HE DID!! so I told him this morning to call me every few days, just for updates and such. By the time we left yesterday, he was already signed up and running off for "capture the flag" game and a movie last night. He is going to have a blast. Tommorow is first day of classes, and its a pretty intensive class of World War ll lectures, (equivilent to a semester college class) I'm such a proud Mom!!!

  • I'm here!! Just busy is all. Still have the 8yo at home with me and he's a chatty cathy....sort of non stop. I got my workout done early this morning, and then went Fathers Day shopping. Dh is also away, so its just ds and me. We painted and did crafts this afternoon and then had an early supper. Did anyone catch the episode of "hells kitchen?" HOLY COW!!! That Gordon Ramsey is a devil!! Makes for good tv. Tommorow morning my gym is having a nutrition class. Not sure what new info they'll have but I signed up for it.....lets call it reinforcement!!! oh I forgot.....when I was passing a step class this morning at the gym....a fellow member said she didn't recognize me. And I'm thinking....its my bedhead, its my no makeup, its my rundown outfit....no!!! she didn't recognize me because I look sooo good!!! I swear, thats what she said. And then the instructor said..."thats because she comes EVERY DAY to work out!!!" I almost died, but then flashed a huge smile. And here I thought I was just a fly on the wall and nobody was noticing me !!!
  • Hey chick-a-dees!!

    OK, so things are kinda slow here. I've managed to drop 2 lbs since I came back from vacation. Which is good, but I've just lost the motivation. I had to stop the gym, I just couldn't afford it. I'm trying to talk DH into a treadmill but he's still of the mindset I can just get out on the road and walk. Actually I did do that a couple times, but my leg and my knee started tweakin' out on me so I really haven't done much. I skipped my meeting the last couple weeks, but I AM going tomorrow night. NO EXCUSES!.... Lee is going to LV for his granddaughters HS graduation. I'll miss him, but am looking forward to sleeping corner to corner!! YAYYYYY LOL. It's worth the plane fare for him to go. He's missed 2 of the g-kids grads, and weddings so far. And this one is his favorite ..... I had to scheme with his daughter to get him to agree to go lmao! Anyways, I'll be able to cook just for me, and do things on my schedule for a week. Maybe the motivation will return!

    Curly~ I think it's awesome, you walking for a wonderful cause..... walking and walking and walking! WooooHOOOOO... Make ya feel good inside AND out, lol once you get a little rest I really do miss having the opportunity for that kind of activity here.

    Val~ WTG!! I'm really happy you've been able to keep focused on the final picture! How's the new job going?

    Angel~ What a life you have. LOL I do envy you. You and younger ds sound like you're having a great time alone! Are you still hearing from older ds daily? Congrats on finding you aren't such the fly on the wall. I bet you look mahhhhvolous

  • Hey girls....How is everyone today? Had a great workout yesterday and then attended a Nutrition seminar at my gym. He was full of information but not very much common sense to it. He was very well spoken but was very medical and refered to the chemical name for the breakdown of foods, substances, and affects in the body. You know....term mumbo jumbo....we were a group of Mom's wanting to know how to lose weight. Not zenerythym, adiposal, or subluxation!!! huh?? He did have some excellent tips on the best foods to feed your body/brain.....raw blueberries,raw almonds,spinach and fresh salmon to name a few. He gave a formula about how much water to drink....and it was.....body weight divided by 2. Easy.....that is how much plain water to drink (not tea, not crystal lite etc) I personally drink more than that....but that is the basic guideline. It was REALLY GREAT to hear that I'm doing all the right things, and knew of most of the topics he spoke about. SO THATS GOOD!!! Now to just do it and lose the weight!!!
  • Good morning girls!!! I had the extreme pleasure of a 1 lb loss this morning....I could sense the tides were a' changing yesterday. Its amazing what some good ol' healthy fibre will do. So I"ll take it.

    Ds and I just came back from watching a free movie. It was Wallace and Grommit's Curse of the Were Rabbit. Very cute. ONe of the local movie theatres have free movies all summer on W and Th mornings. hey? its free so why not. I'll have to get out and walk the dog though, as now the daycare room at my gym is closed. thats okay. I needed the break today from the gym anyways. We are going camping this weekend, (well Friday-Sunday) and it was supposed to be dh,ds and me. Funny thing though....(not funny ha ha) dh is working . So he signed us up and now he's not even going!!! I've been tent camping one other time, god help us!!! I've got bin and bin of stuff to look and sort through. Just give me a good mattress or momma isn't going to sleep!!! oh yeah....bikes are coming for cubscout safety and the dog. That should be good for 2 trips back and forth!!! ARRRGGHHHH......
