Curly I don't know why pollen would make you crave sugar but it's always possible!

I lost another pound on my weigh in this week

Monday: 1667 calories, 1020 deficit, 45 minutes curves

Angel~ I sure hope you're feeling better GF!

Petra~ How are things going for you? I'm wishing the best for you and the boys

Hey Girls,

So I have lost all faith in the scal at WW! I didn't make it last week but the week before it weighed "light" for everyone. I think we decided it was about 3lbs light. So tonight I'm expecting to be at least somewhat less than the weight I was before "that" week and it showed another gain. I have been weighing at home and I definately lost 3 lbs. (My home scale has always showed more than the WW scale- so has the gym and the DR. I chose to use that one because it WAS the lightest number, but I assumed it would be consistant which now I don't think it is).... whew lol... anyways my new weight will be from my home scale morning weight on Tuesday mornings.

So I talked to the Dr yesterday and told him I didn't want to wait another 3 weeks for the snoring procedure (because I'm figuring that long to lose the 10 then schedule), and after he was convinced that i AM TOTALLY comitted to my weightloss and exercise he agreed to do it next week! YIKES! HOpefully I'll be getting nice peaceful sleep with no elbows being poked in my side lol wooooHOOOOOO!!!!

so, back to work tomorrow Today was awesome! I sat on the deck and read, washed both cars, did a little bit of weeding *acckkkk*, and laundry & stuff... I hope ya'll have a great day again! :grouphiug:

Dee I'm glad to hear you're getting your surgery sooner. What is he going to do to help with the snoring?

I got two new kittens from adopt a pet today. Their names are Rose and Dewey. They look like a Russian Blue mix.

Curly-I've been craving sugar too lately. I haven't been eating it. I"ve been eating a lot of peanuts instead, LOL.

Val-the kitties are adorable. I'm sure they will find homes in no time.

I'm hard at work on the job search. I'm trying to get one interview set up. I finally got to talk the acting chief at the VA Hospital yesterday. I still think the VA is probably what I'm more interested in but I'll check both places out. The VA had a lot of Katrina damage but they are planning to rebuild a big new facility so there will be a lot of new opportunities there in the next few years.

Gotta take the dogs to daycare. Have a good day everyone.

Hi PIC's,

WhataMonday! lol. I'm feeling well, and eating well again. It really feels good to go to bed and know that I didn't have to justify (to myself or anyone else) about the cookies-chips-garbage-etc that found it's way into my face I'm going to keep it up and watch the pounds go down!

So, my boss approached me today about taking over most of the store management now. Her son is causing them grief so she really wants to have more time with him, and her husbands business needs more of her attention AND she wants to involve herself in the bookkeeping end of the store as she feels the brother-in-law is really not doing a good job in that area..... we're just in the talk about it phanse now. I have a lot of thinking & negotiating to do before I agree.

Petra~ I was wondering about you. I'm happy to hear the search is going ok for you. I just feel that you'll find just what you are looking for! Good job keeping that sugar away!

Val~ The kitties are adorable!!! I STILL don't know how you can do the foster thing. I don't think I could geve them up after I've bonded for more than 10 minutes. LOL..

Curly~ This is a real simple outpatient procedure- done in about a 20 min visit. Pillar Procedure. They implant 3 small bar thingies in my pallet to make it less able to vibrate at night.... he says I'll have a sore throat for a couple days but that is about it.

Hi Everyone!

I had a good day yesterday. I got a job working in an office in the days. I'm worried how this will affect my weight loss since I'll be eating away from home and also having much less time to exercise. I think I may have to quit my tutoring jobs so I have time to exercise after work.

Wednesday: 1602 calories, 1034 deficit, 45 minutes Tae Bo

Hey girls......I'm still alive and this head cold is just starting to wind down now!!! Today was the first day I made it to the gym in over 1 week!!! Glad I went but felt really drained and exhausted afterwards and I only did 40 min on the treadmill and some arm excercise for toning. I COMPLETELY FORGOT ABOUT MAY 1ST'S CHALLENGE.....I'm so sorry!!!! But I'm willing to give it the ol' college try and buckle down and start in earnest. Most days if I'm honest, I've been living on the couch and napping by mid day. Cereal, chicken soup and icecream have been my mainstays, its feed a cold right? starve a fever?? This is the first time in a few days that I've even thought about the computer!!! WHATS UP WITH THAT?

Iwmonn.....sounds like a good opportunity for you at the store! Its time to make a deal and see what they counter with.

Petra.....You're options are just starting to open up. Good luck with the interviews.

Valerie.....WOW...good luck with the new job!!! Your new foster kittens are soooo adorable!!!

(not) but i finally got to the dr and got some antibiotics so i am feeling better today... the dr asked me if i felt feverish... hahaha how the heck can i tell... i feel feverish everyday!!! HOT FLASHES!!! NIGHT SWEATS!

let me tell ya they will just wear ya out!!! by morning i feel like i have been compeating in the therostat olympics... HOT, turn on the fans.... cold get up turn the fans off... find the blankets... 2 hrs later sweating again... GRRRRRR!

im so busy sweating and freezin .. theres no time for sleep... then in the daytime i feel like i am just draggin... tho i do hope a lot of that was from the UTI and now the antibiotics will clear it up and i will get my strength back.. I have been recycling the same 3 lbs for weeks now .... up 3 lose those... back up 2 ... down 1.. STOP THE MADNESS! hahaha

ohhhh that sounds nasty Curly!!! Hope you get lots of rest and drink lots of the cranberry juice!!! I know I know, lots of carbs, but its really the best thing to flush out that bacteria. I have heard of a concentrated pill for cranberry, I'd look for it in the vitamin supplement section but you still have to drink lots of water with it. Not like you haven't done that before though eh? Hope you are feeling better soon!!

I'm still fighting some sort of stomach bug.....napped today for another 2 hours with some stomach cramping and nausea. ewwww, head cold wise.....I'm almost over that. (thank god!!) time for bed now.....hope tommorow's a good day. tc
