    Petra.....I had to have repeat mammograms 2 years in a row awhile back and the repeats were OK both times. I hope that you get the same results.

  • Angel.. he is an aircraft mechanic for a federal governemnt contractor, retired from the navy so i guess i am safe as far as his background... he really does seem nice.. tho really shy so we will be "just chatting online for a while before we ever meet in person...


    Well it was supposed to be until April 16th but that is Easter sunday.. so maybe we should plan to wrap it up before the weekend.. in case anyone has plans to travel... I tell ya .. this monitoring exercise,carbs and calories really has helped me ... it makes u so aware of each element....

  • Morning!!!
    How is everyone today? Can I say 2 words?..TOM....blech!!!This morning I went to the core cardio class.....me and a ball. Now thats a good mental image, but it was a good workout. Afterwards, they had a "power pump' class demo. They want to start a new session, and its an extra paid class, so they are trying to drum up business for it. Not sure if I want to pay MORE MONEY on top of my monthly fees.....but I'm aching and sore and to boot I've got TOM. So I think I'm done for the day after 2 hours!!!!

    Well I just about have enough time for a quick shower and then run off to my tattoo appt. !!! So excited!!! I'm getting a pretty floral one on my shoulder. Hope you don't think I'm crazy or anything.....just something I've wanted for awhile.

  • I'm sorry that I didn't get into the posting daily for eggs. I'm one of those people that doesn't follow through with a lot of things. Plus I tend to obsess over foods too much.


    Val - I am so proud of you.

    Angel - I'd love to see a pic of your tattoo, that is if you feel up to posting one.

    Curly - So the guy your talking to is retired from the Navy, so technically your interested in some "Old Navy" (I know it was cheesey, but hey I enjoyed it)

    I have a tattoo that is still in the planning stages, but I'm waiting until I hit goal to get it. I'm a dork and I want a butterfly design, but (here's the dorky part) I want it to be the art glass butterfly that Frank Lloyd Wright used on the Dana House that he designed in Springfield. My algebra instructor has a tattoo of the pi symbol - I thought that was pretty cool.
  • Everyone talking about tattoo's ...... Well I'm back......not sure how it turned out. My picture was a nice cluster of flowers with a group of butterflies. The colours were pinks, turquoise blue, teal green, and a plum. Nice huh? .....the picture showed a yellow butterfly and we talked about changing it to a pink because I DIDN'T LIKE YELLOW. So he says we are done, and I do check from time to time on the colour but its hard to peer down over your shoulder to the top of your arm without moving and getting too dizzy(out of focus) So I hold up the mirror.....and almost everything HAS A CENTER OF YELLOW!!! uh hello? he then says, he doesn't use much white in the centers as it doesn't last. uh hello? that would have been good to tell me BEFORE!!! So he changed as much as he could, and I do like it, but it really doesn't look like the picture AT ALL. I may go back for a touch up in a few days and see what's what. For all of you curious....it feels like many razor cuts while you're shaving your legs. If you can do 5 minutes, you can last for the duration. Mine today was 1.5 hours, but was longer because of the YELLOW SITUATION!!!

    Curly......I thought that I would wait until I reached goal as well, and then thought, I would enjoy it alot longer if I had it done now. I have another but it is a small one on my back, and I never see it. Heck, I even forget about it until someone mentions it at the gym!!

    Beatlesfan.....I will have to look up that design, it sounds FABULOUS.
  • Angel give it at least 2 weeks to settle before you change it. You might like it. It should scab up, but don't pick those scabs! Ignore the above info if you've had a tattoo before.
  • Heres the one i am gettin.. i want it on my lower back so when ya stoop down it peeks out the waist of ur jeans! and i will have curly on the top scroll and locks on the bottom scroll but no name in the center

    Beatlesfan.....I checked up on your butterfly design, pretty cool. I love the art deco feel of it.
    Curly......LOVE your possible tattoo also. Those small wispy bits to the sides are similar to mine....except mine has YELLOW!!! UGH....

    I've cleansed the arm and it feels good, no scabs so far and coated it with the reccommended Lubriderm. We'll see how it is in the morning. All right....time for the egg count! oh look?...a pretty TEAL GREEN butterfly in my weight tracker!!!

    For those of interested in seeing my tattoo design, its on tattoofinderdotcom. The artist is Terri Fox and its called "fragile purple butterfly" on page 5. Only imagine more yellow EVERYWHERE!! lol......
