Hi Ladies,

Hope everyone had a wonderful Valentines Day.! :val3:

Cassie, I will keep you in my thoughts and pray that everything is fine with your heart. I do the WATP tapes. I started on the 1st of Jan. with the 1 mile tape. I was so out of shape. When I started I could only make it through about 10 minutes but my endurance picked up and I was soon able to do the entire workout. I did it for the whole month of Jan. then this month I moved to the 2 mile WATP... so far I have been doing good and getting better with it. If I can do them, anyone can!

Stacye, congrats on the loss. :cheer: Have fun with the treadmill.

My sweetie is not very creative... he got me a gift certificate for V-day and a lovely card with some really sweet written words. Awww

Enjoy the rest of the day!

Hi Gang,

Just a quick check in. :D I couldn't resist stepping on the scales this afternoon and I'm down 1 pound. Didn't make my Valentines goal, but 9 pounds is fine with me. Set a new goal for St Patricks Day of 8 pounds to work towards.

Hope your Honey's were good to you.:val2: Mine gave me flowers and a card.:val3:

I made a 3 points dessert for dinner tonight that was soooo goood and rich tasting. Baked a pan of Mint No Pudge Brownies, cut them into 16 pieces. In each dessert cup, I added 1 TB of Lt Cherry Pie filling, put the brownie on top, added 2 TB more of Cherry Pie filling and then cool whip. :hun: It satisfied my craving for chocolate, plus an 8X8 pan of brownies cut into 16 pieces isn't very big, but it was just enough where I don't feel deprived.

Cassie....You are in my prayer. Everything is going to be just fine, besides WE are all going to be praying for you.:grouphug: Try not to worry, I know eaiser said than done. WATP is a good tape to buy. I use it once in awhile when I don't want to work out with Richard and the gang. When I first started, I was able to do about 10 minutes and thought I was dieing. LOL
Now, I'm able to get through it.

Well all you lovely weight looser, I'm still pretty tired so I'm going to bed early.

~Cheryl

Good Morning from Atlantic Canada. . .

It's looking a little gray and drizzly outside right now, but the radio is telling me it will get sunny later on this morning. I hope so.

Very happy to report that I managed to banish another 2 ugly pounds to the "ugly-pound-place" this past week. Coupled with a good BS reading this morning that gives me both an "S" and an "NS" victory . . . so my day is feeling pretty sunny already.

Keep smiling, gang . . . I just know everything will be sunny for each of you, too. :carrot:

Hello everyone,
My name is Liz, i'm 21 and needing to lose about 120lbs. I really need some friends/partners/supporters:hug:that have a similar goal and are as serious about weight loss as I am. I'm looking forward to getting to know all of you.

Well, after my totally pathetic 0.6 last week, I've lost 1.8 lb since Sunday so I guess I'm back on track!!

Welcome Liz - the more the merrier.

Hope no one fell off the wagon yesterday and, if you did, you got right back on again.

There were chocolates in the staff room yesterday and I did actually have one but then I left before I had any more. It was harder to resist the chocolates than the cream cakes the other day, as my brain rationalised it by saying "Well, they're only small so they aren't THAT many calories," whereas I couldn't in all conscience pig a whole cream cake!

I got a new DVD which I'm going to try out tonight. It's by a British actress called Charlie Brooks (Janine in EastEnders for fellow Brits). She lost 2 stone (28 pounds) and it shows her before and after and she does look fantastic. She wasn't huge but she was rounded - at the beginning she was about 151 lbs and she went down to 123.

Anyway, it looks good - more funky and dancy than the one I've been using. And it has great reviews.

My size 16 jeans I was so proud of squeezing into are beginning to get baggy in the leg! Not baggy in the waist yet but definitely not at all tight! When I've lost 20 lbs I'll get my dad to take a pic with his camera and post it. I'll do them every ten pounds after that!

And my SO has lost 6 lbs in the last few weeks. He's tall so he doesn't look fat at all but he was about 20 lbs over what he would like to be and he definitely has a squishy belly!! I think I've inspired him.

Hi!

Hi! Chicks! I was so good yesterday I didn't even get close to caving for chocolate! But the devil  got in my ear this morning! My aunt brought me some Bread Pudding wasn't that nice of her! I put it in the fridge for my boys and then that evil craving hit! I put it on my counter! I will just have to skip lunch!

Rosbia- I bought some 16/18 work-out pants they fit in the waist but are to tight in the leg! I am so proud of you! Look at it this way, :strong: you could have eaten 5 chocolates! One is not so bad and it was a holiday!

Liz- great to have you on 3fc! :wel3fc:

:wave:I will check back in later!

Cheryl120 02-15-2006 04:38 PM

Yeah for ME

Just a quick check in to let you know that my weigh in at WW was GREAT!! I was down 3 pounds after having had gains the last two weeks. Happy dance!:dancer: :dancer:11 total pounds gone. :encore:

Liz...Welcome...This is a great group of very caring people to hang out with. :D
Look forward tomgetting to know you.

I will try to check back later. Hubby wants the computer.

Cheryl

Thanks Paula - congrats on getting the 16/18 pants!!

Cheryl - congrats on the loss - 3 lbs is GREAT!!

Wow - I did my new DVD and boy was it harder than my old one!!

I did manage to do most of it, although not at the intensity they did it. Although that's good because it means I can do more as I get fitter.

But there was one jumpy bit I could not do at all. Only because my DDs kept leaping out of my leotard with every jump. So I did something else during the jumpy bits. Sadly even when I WAS a size 12 , I still had big boobs, although not DDs, so they will never really go down, a fact my SO is very relieved about. I will have to get a different type of bra to do the video in.

Anyway, must dash to have a shower before Desperate Housewives!

meowee 02-15-2006 05:08 PM

Well, hello again, Liz. Really, I'm not following you around, it just seems that way. This is a really busy board. You'll love it here. Great bunch of people from all over.

Cheryl . . . Great going with the three pounds. (Liz . . . Cheryl and I follow each other around, too). I bought myself an early birthday present today. Found two of Richard's DVD's . . . Super Sweating and Super Toning. Think I'll try the "Toning" one first . . . looks less intense and it is definitely shorter.

Congratulations, Robsia . . . to both you and the SO . . . hope he said thank you. Have fun with your new video. should keep you off the streets for a couple of days, anyway.

Have a great evening everybody. :carrot:

Weigh-in?

Do you only take the weight from your official weigh-in day? I sneaked a peak this morning and I was down 2lbs! But It wasn't my official day! But I think I will keep it! What do you think?:goodscale

Robsia 02-15-2006 06:50 PM

Well, I weigh every day, even though I tell myself I shouldn't. If it's down I alter my tickers. If it goes back up again, I leave them until it's back below my previous low.

If by the weigh-in day it's still up, I would put the tickers back to the higher "weigh-in day" weight but that hasn't happened yet, thank goodness.

The weigh in days for me are so I can mark the start of a new week and say "yes I lost 2.3 pounds last week" or whatever and enter it on my spreadsheet.

mama4dmkd 02-15-2006 06:54 PM

Thanks!

Rosbia- Thank you:hug:

OH! Yeah me!!!!!

Linda, Congrats on the 2lb lost and glad your BS was good this morning

Liz  :welcome3: to the group. There is plenty of support here. We look forward to hearing more from you.

Robsia, glad to hear you are back on track :carrot: Glad the workout went well. That's great that you've inspired your SO... have you gotten him to workout with you?

Cheryl, Congrats on the loss :dancer: WTG! ...all it takes is a little patients!

Paula, great on the 2lb loss :cheer: I'd take it! I check my weight often (daily) and no matter if it's up or down, I log it for my personal records. Since there are fluctuations through the week, I try not to get too excited until my official WI day and I judge from there.

My day has been okay... the weather here has been a bit dreary too... the temps were around 40 (very unusual weather this time of year) and then there is suppose to be freezing rain and a weather advisory tonight :dizzy:

I was feeling lazy last night, so I skipped my workout but I got up this morning and felt guilty and did the 1 mile WATP... I can't believe how far I've come in such a short time... the workout went by so fast and I barely broke a sweat and was not winded at all... I will break out the 2 mile shortly for a good workout. :workout:

I hope everyone has had a good day... I'll check back later.

:grouphug:

Hi ladies!!

Well the whole family has been sick this week. Both my little ones had the flu this weekend then hubby and I came down with it too....now its turned into a cold for all of us. Fun, fun.

Somehow I managed to lose 3lb even with all the comfort food I've been eating this week. No exercise either with all this sickness around. I have to say I really miss it but know I'd get a bad workout being this sick. :(

Anyway, Congrats to all you losers out there! I see many of us are still going strong and that is inspirational to me. Keep it up people and happy losing!

jelynn 02-15-2006 10:23 PM

Welcome Liz!

Cassie- I think the WATP tapes are great. The 1 mile is a great place to start...just do what you can do and in a couple weeks you'll be amazed at how much easier things get! You'll be in my thoughts as well, take care (((hugs)))

My official weigh-in is Monday and the only one I really count. But I'm a scale watcher and weigh close to every morning. This week I showed a maintain on Monday, but was down 2 lbs on Tuesday!! But not official until next week- lol. I'll see if I can make it a little more :)

I've had a good day today-- I was so low energy, but made myself do my 40 minute workout dvd and it felt sooo great! And get this...I'm actually looking forward to tomorrow on the treadmill to see if running is getting easier!! Who am I?!

Night all!
