Barb, 7 lbs :carrot: :carrot: :carrot: ...that is great! congrats on the loss. Let us know how things go with the stepper... keep up the good work! AndrewsMum, you are doing awesome on the exercise... :workout: you got me thinking I may not be doing enough! uh, nah lol I am sure with your determination those numbers are going to move! :goodscale: Tina, glad you had a good workout. Congrats on losing that additional lb. :dance: ...of course the pants fit, you are close to 25 lbs lost. :cheer: I gave the BL workout a try. I did #1 and with a little modifying (can't get that low on the lunges) :dizzy: but I made it through the workout. That's a good 40 minute workout :workout: I could really feel it in my thighs. I have yet to preview the high intensity or boot camp sections. I will check out the high intensity next... not sure I'll be ready for it though. Have you tried any of the other workouts? Paula, don't feel bad... I took an extra day off of exercise... it wasn't the day I planned, but I took it. You did some housework, so you did burn some calories. Hey I think that's a good ideal to see what we all have lost as a group. Cassie, thanks :hug: I am still excited about getting to this point. You know the last time I lost as much as 20 lbs., I did it doing Taebo, but still I did not get down past 250.... I still have the tapes but I'm not pushing too hard this time, but a day will come and I'll give Taebo a try for a good workout. Cheryl, thanks to you as well for the cheers. It was a huge motivator boost... I'm ready to get rid of 10 more, that in itself will be another challenge to over come, because I don't think I've been below 240 in about 15 years! :fr: Little Pony, :welcome3: so glad you joined us. There are several online journals... I'm using FitDay.com (pc version) and I know Robsia is using Nutridiary.com.... both are good tools for tracking your calories, nutrients, and exercise... both give you graphs, charts and reports on your progress. I've used FitDay since I started this time and it has been a tremendous help in keeping me on track, and it is so motivating to see the numbers and graphs change as you make progress.... and of course the ladies here are a huge support and helps to give us all a sense of accoountability. I hope you enjoy your stay with us. :hug: I've been having a pretty good day. I got my workout in, as mentioned, I did the BL workout for the 1st time and I felt the burn in my thighs and worked up a good sweat. I modified on the lunges and boy does my balance suck! ha ha. I know it will get better. I had to hop on the scale again this morning, no change but I'm still on track to my goal. FitDay says I should be -18.56 lbs, and I'm at a 21 lb loss. little pony- I am using Spark people! It has a place to keep up with all of that! Please say that I reffered you, if you check it out. There are others too like fitday, and caloriecounters.com! But Spark is the one I like best.

Paula, I suppose you could ask everyone to report to you and then tally it up, I think that would be easier than trying to monitor tickers. I also post once a week in the 100 lbs group thread (2006 pounds lost in 2006) where they update pounds lost every week since the 1st of January. You have to sign up first on their sign up thread before you start posting losses..

She hasn't posted since the 8th I hope she is ok!!!!!! Garnetfairy has posted in forever either I hope they are both ok!!! I miss them!! If I have missed anyone please let me know! I only went back 4 pages! But our collective weight-loss is a grand total of 305!!!!! Wow!! Please forgive me if I have forgotten someone or put you twice! Just let me know and I will fix it!! Maybe this was a bad idea! Cause I don't want to make anyone mad!! You all mean the world to me!!!! |
Linda, I almost missed you... hope you are rested.... your day can really be thrown off by irregualr sleep patterns. Thanks for the congrats.... and you will get there. Keeping your BS under control is so very important and losing the weight will definitely help. Hang in there, we'll all get there! :hug:

Cassie....When you go to Burger King, have a jr. whopper with no mayo or a grill chicken sandwich with no mayo and a side salad. They should all be pretty low in calories. Linda...It must be catching...All I want to do is sleep also....no energy today. It's back to the old routine tomorrow, school starts back up, so up at 6:30 and get my workout in with Richard. Maybe that will give me the boost I need. To all of you doing so well on exercising, :bravo:I need a swift kick in the behind to get me going again. I promise you all, I will be back at it tomorrow.:carrot: Except for not exercising, I have stayed within my points. Tina, the cookies are gone! Thanks for all the tips on what to eat when I go to Burger King! I think I am going to do the grilled chicken (no mayo) and a side salad! I don't want that nasty guilty feeling from over-eating! And AWESOME of us losing over 300 pounds combined! What a success! And that number is going to be climbing, and climbing! Welcome, Little Pony! I am pretty new here as well, but have found these ladies to be verry supportive and SO helpful! I look forward to getting to know you!:hug: Have any of you tried the South Beach cookies? I'm not on the SB diet, but I bought some because they come in 100 calorie packs....the Peanut Butter kinds are great! Just thought I would share! |
Cassie- Oh cookies!! I have been avoiding sweets (I get one snack size snickers a week Hubby keep them in his glove compartment) Because, I have noooo willpower!!!!
Lois- I will have to redo the numbers!! Sorry Lori and Garnetfairy! I did good tonight I got my hubby off the couch to do tae bo with me! He only needs to lose about 20 lbs! But I have been teasing him that if he didn't get off the couch, I would soon be smaller than him!! LOL! It was very funny! But at least he was as out of breath as me!! WHEW! Billy Blanks sure does know how to make you sweat!! Well going to bed after I fix my mess up on our weights, I knew I would miss somebody! :grouphug: |

Barb - Congrats on the big loss! What program are you on? Linda - How do people go to work with the weather like it is? Cassie - Keep up the good work not smoking, I know it is hard but it can be done, for sure! I quit 24 years ago when I found out I was pregnant. Congrats on the loss! Grilled chicken is great for you. I dont know of any diet where you cant have grilled chicken unless it is a liquid only diet. Tina - Congrats on your loss! Thanks for what you said. It was not so much Valentines day single as it was valentines day listening to my brother detail everything that is horrible about our lives. I know that everything that is wrong with my life is my fault and I accept that, they were all my choices that got me here. It's just that I have clinical depression on my best days and he just brought me down farther. No big deal but I have not been on program since and have not been able to exercise due to transportational difficulties but I should be able to work out Tuesday 2-21. I better drag my butt out of the bed and go first thing too, just to be sure I do it! Wonderful NSV on the pants! Robsia - "damn these boobs" ha ha ha. Congrats on the loss! Welcome Little Pony - I am 43 and 5'2" started at 305.8 and weighed today at the psych 284.5 my goal is 135 so I am within 10 pounds of your goal. Oh, I am single too. Well, I have been away, I stopped checking in and got off track. Got really more depressed than usual on Valentines day thanks to my lovely brother. Cant escape him we live in the same house, with our parents, not a happy situation most of the time. Anyway, that is a too long story. I have been off program since Valentines but I am picking myself back up today 2-21. I weighed at the psych office yesterday and it said I had a loss, but I will believe it when I weigh at the gym tomorrow. Have not been able to go to the gym for the past 4 days due to transportational difficulties. Had the wrong foods yesterday and the day before and so on, I cant remember past Sunday as far as what I ate but I figure it wasnt good. But, hey, pick myself up and dust myself off and get back going, right? I have learned that I really need to keep up with the thread here for accountability and to make me feel less alone and overwhelmed. Thanks for being here. I will let you know my weight loss for the count after I weigh at the gym later today. Goodnight |

Andrew's mum - so sorry you didn't lose anything this week! Keep trying - it'll come off next week, I'm sure!! You go on those exercises - it's one heck of a motivator when you think you haven't lost, isn't it!
jelynn - yay - congrats on losing 2.8, that's fabulous. Tina - wow 14-16!!! That's super. And well done on the loss too. Little pony - welcome!! We all KWYM about losing and gaining th same pounds over and over again. Losing isn't too hard once you've set your mind on it, it's keeping it off that's the hard part. I use www.nutridiary.com, which I find very good, but there are quite a few out there to choose from. mama4 - THANK YOU for figuring out our collective weight loss. Wow - 300+ lb altogether, that's incredible. That's equivalent to one really fat chick gone for good! Or two voluptuous chicks. garnetfairy - what's past is past. It's not important that you fell off the wagon. What's important is that you got back on again and the scales STILL showed a loss - wow!! Well, I didn't lose aything yesterday but the scales showed 0.8 down this morning. My average so far is about 0.4 a day, so that's right on track. I'll be in a bikini by summer! thanks for the encouragment guys, it really helps having all of u guys for support. i know its a plateau and it will move eventually but gosh its hard wen ur trying so hard and nothin is happening.
