HAPPY BIRTHDAY NITA
Have a wonderful Birthday! (saw Patty's post!!! LOL)

I couldn't get back here. Not sure it was 3FC fault either. I think it was AOL yesterday. I have dial-up and I get bad days sometimes. Anyway... I am glad you got off to a good start and wanted to say that you gave me an idea....I got out my old WW cookbook and dusted it off. I forgot I even had it!!! I can use some of those recipes for MY plan. continued success!

anne~ Thanks for passing along the message. It was the funniest thing with the PC. On my other diet site, each time I posted I got knocked off! AOL kept tryuing to restart and then it told me it had no phone numbers!!! Thanks again.

Hope you all have a great weekend and enjoy!!

Hi Ladies,

Thanks for all your birthday wishes! It's been a pretty good day. When I got home from bowling I was surprised to find a bouquet of flowers from my daughters in Ohio. They said since I was 70 that was a special time!

I did not go out for dinner but had a Healthy Choice Dinner with a big salad. I do believe this is it--I am ready, willing and able to do this one more time!

Take care,
Anita

Hey Nita,

Thanks for you kind words of support. I think WW has a lot going for it, I always have. One thing is for sure, they research and remain current with the latest positive trends in weight loss for a long term result. I think their prices are a tad high, and truly believe if they could come down only a few bucks a week, they would see a big jump in membership. My opinion, ofcourse!

I'll write more to all later. I just wanted to make sure NITA has a special day, as she is very special to us!

Happy Birthday Anita~~ 70 is a birthday to really celebrate. Having met you I can certainly say you are living younger than that! You busy lady! Keep it up girl~
Tomorrow is our anniversary. I think DH wants to take me out somewhere. I guess i can go off the 'plan' for a special event like that.

This protein plan i'm on is fun. I either have one or up to two a day. (bkfst & lunch) then i can have any carb i want w/supper. I still have healthy carbs, like whole wheat pasta or brown rice, and lots of veggies and ckn breast or fish. I like the whole wheat spaghetti "healthy harvest"brand that i found down here...wonder if i can buy it at home...?Hope so. as some are better than others.

I agree, HALGAL...WW could just charge a tad less, and still do well. It would bring more people to them. They do put the effort into making sure the plans work and change when needed.

Hi to all the rest of the chicks. Don't know if i will get my 3 mile walk in today...supposed to be nearly 90 degreees and i did not get it done early as we had to go do some shopping at the flea market early. Picked up 4 tshirts for his great nephew at a great price(thru the gal DH worked for ) and he got plain white tshirts at her cost. He goes thru them like crazy for work shirts. It's amazing how much cooler white is over all the other colors here in the hot sun. Even our vehicle is white this time 'round.

Wishing everyone a great Sunday!

Happy Sunday to all of You,
As Thin has said the weather in Phoenix is fantastic! I am staying on program and I have gone back to eating the whole wheat bread that counts 1 pt. for two slices. I then have two thin slices of 98% FF ham and 1 pc of cheese--all total this makes for 4 pts. I know everyone will agree with me--just a few days without those carbs does make fruit and veggies taste better than ever. I still have not gone back on any vitamins and I thought I would make an appt. to see my doctor to see what he thinks. I really have as much energy as I did before and then some. I bought an electric trimmer for my small piece of grass today and I think it will do just fine.

Tuesday and Wednesday afternoon I need to attend the 5-Alive Driving Class for Seniors. By doing so I save $100 each year for 3 years on my car insurance. Do your states honor this? It's surprising how many people don't know it exists. It is backed by AARP and the cost for attending is $10. This means, of course, I will have to give up two days of bowling but it will definitely be worth it.

Ladies have you tried those new flavors for FF pudding--lemon and cheesecake. They are both really awesome.

Well I have some sewing to do so I will close for now. Take care and enjoy!

Anita

Hello Ladies,
It's a beautiful sunday evening here. I love it when the time changes here.

Nita - I have not tried the new flavors. Are they the ff ones or the sugar free ones.

Plan on taking Blackie out for a walk this evening. Hope everyone is having a good evening!

1 Day -- They are ff and sf. They also have the sf lemon jello. I usually use both the jello and the pudding. If you want my recipe for making a "wonderful" almost sf pie, let me know.

Hope your Sunday is going well!

Hello Ladies,
Was not prepared with my snacks today and got into the candy jar. Tomorrow will be a better day.

Nita - yes please send the recipe. Did you all change with the daylight savings time?

Hope everyone is having a great day!

Hi chicks ..... just a quick call ......... didn't have internet access at all yesterday ....... don't know what happened.
I have jusr got the Paul McKenna book and CD "I Can Make You Thin"
His 4 key points are
1. Eat whenever you're hungry.
2. Eat what you want, not what you think you should.
3. Eat consciously and enjoy every mouthful.
4. Stop when you think you're full.

When you think about it that is exactly what thin people do all the time.......

Have a good day all.

Hi Mooz,

Hopefully the rest of our group will have a chance to post real soon. I am doing the WW program, however, I must confess I am not writing everything down. I am using the low cal bread so that I can have two pieces of toast with my cereal in the morning. Sometimes I eat an omlette made with one egg and fake egg, plus a little cheese. I also made my diet lemon pie today and it really is nice to have a dessert without all those calories. I am having steak and sweet potato for dinner along with some salad. If I get hungry in between I am eating fruit. My indigestion is almost gone.

I will be weighing in on Saturday and I will let you know my progress.

Take care and I hope everyone is doing well!

Anita

p.s. I am not sure if I mentioned this but I just finished about 6 hours, yesterday and today, going to AARP's safety driving course. It costs $10 and it will save me $110 per year for the next 3 years off my car insurance.

Morning to all at the Movin' and Losin' house. My brain has done a rebellion on working on the house and yard so I have decided to have some time off - right after the pest control man has been.
The new fence is going up finally and I have discovered a lot more white ants in the yard - if these are termites, It's a wonder the fence has stayed up as long as it has!

Glad to hear that the indigestion is subsiding Nita. Nothing worse than sitting in pain with something that has disagreed with the stomach.

Mooz, I must get back to looking at the Swedish photos once more. My friend and I are thinking of putting Italy and Switzerland on the agenda for next year. It was supposed to be this year, but the bank decided otherwise. So maybe, just maybe we will meet again next year!

Okay, since work is non existent, I had better go and plan some pleasure! See ya.
