Hi Bonnie, Thanks for asking. Well the good news is she doesn't have MS but because she has had gastric bypass surgery they think her optic nueritis, a marker for MS, was caused by a vitamin deficiency.See, we shouldn't play with mother nature. I'm taking antibiotics cause I have swollen glands and the blood work points to a viral infection but if it doesn't go away with antibiotics she wants me to have it biopsied. I just can't picture having cancer cause heart disease runs in my family but you never know, we'll see. Just came back from the emergency room. My daughter called that grandson fell and cut his hand and it was bad. She called an ambulance and we met her at the hospital where they put in 4 stitches. He was so good but because he doesn't speak well we don't really know what happened. Went to water aerobics today and so far haven't screwed up with the eating. Good luck everyone. Bernice

Quick reply for right now. Bernice, it sounds like you're having some troubling times. I'll be thinking about you. Hope everything smoothes out for you.

On another note. Lost .6 at WW last night. So far I've met my goal of losing every week. Hope I can keep it up.

All of you have a great day and I'll check in later this afternoon. suzq

Hello Ladies: Just briefly reviewed the last several postings. I am so sorry that sadness has affected to many. Sometimes the hardest thing to do is just to get up in the morning. But we all have to continue on!
Well....maybe I will weigh in on Monday. I have been "challenged" by some difficult family situations and drowning myself in food lately. Got up and went to a local park and walked!
It is good to check in with each other and keep boosting morale. Thank you all for listening to my whining and I appreciate your support! Linda

I'm going to make this a quick message cuz I started one complete with smilies and lost it...
Bonnie, three cheers for you, girl.. What determination you have.
Linda, hope everything is ok for you. I've had some personal problems in the past and you can overcome them, I know you can.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.
That weather in Florida is just so sad. I keep thinking with this whole weather thing, we may get an extra snowy winter. Of course, if we have a snow day, I won't be crying! Haven't had one in a few years. Enough to shovel but not close school.
What are some of your (everyone) favorite pastimes? Do you like to read, watch movies, what?
I'll check this out before I leave for the day.

Ok, one smilie!
We're all

Bonnie, I can't say fries with cheese and gravy would float my boat But whatever works, right?

I love to read, mostly suspense/mystery. I enjoy "popcorn" type mysteries too. ( You know, the kind that are easy reads and you can't read just one)
I'm into these Janet Evanovich books "One for the Money" Stephanie Plum who was a lingerie buyer in New Jersey lost her job and is now a bounty hunter for her sleezy cousin Vinnie. I tell you, I haven't laughed so hard in years. She's written all the way up to number 10. I'm on seven now.

My husband and I go to movies a lot. Not in the summer, but the rest of the year. Luckily he'll see most anything so we don't limit ourselves to just one genre. We also have tickets to the Milwaukee Reperatory Theater. We dress up, go out to a nice dinner and go to the play. Nice evening out for the two of us.

I used to crochet, but gave that up. My fingers don't want to work very well sometimes. Weird since I type every day, but what are you gonna do when you're over 50???

We thoroughly enjoy being with our family and having people over to bbque or whatever. We usually host all the big holidays. Love it!

I have one daughter living in IL with her husband and our three wonderful grandchildren: Rachel who is 8, Lauren who is 6 and Ethan who is 4.
One daughter living in Santa Monica (who we're going to visit in Oct) who has a career in sales.
One son who is living at home still. Working and trying to pay off bills.
My husband who buys and fixes up houses to sell, who is "between houses" right now.(Yeah, I let him live at home too )

We just put a "secret garden" and pond in our backyard and have been busy with that and just loving it! Next spring a gazebo and potting shed go in. My husband is the gardener although I am slowly getting into that part of it.

Well, I guess I've rambled on too long

Hope you're all having a wonderful day. I am a little slow on the workfront this week, so I'll check in later.
