Bonnie, I can't say fries with cheese and gravy would float my boat

But whatever works, right?
I love to read, mostly suspense/mystery. I enjoy "popcorn" type mysteries too. ( You know, the kind that are easy reads and you can't read just one)
I'm into these Janet Evanovich books "One for the Money" Stephanie Plum who was a lingerie buyer in New Jersey lost her job and is now a bounty hunter for her sleezy cousin Vinnie. I tell you, I haven't laughed so hard in years. She's written all the way up to number 10. I'm on seven now.
My husband and I go to movies a lot. Not in the summer, but the rest of the year. Luckily he'll see most anything so we don't limit ourselves to just one genre. We also have tickets to the Milwaukee Reperatory Theater. We dress up, go out to a nice dinner and go to the play. Nice evening out for the two of us.
I used to crochet, but gave that up. My fingers don't want to work very well sometimes. Weird since I type every day, but what are you gonna do when you're over 50???
We thoroughly enjoy being with our family and having people over to bbque or whatever. We usually host all the big holidays. Love it!
I have one daughter living in IL with her husband and our three wonderful grandchildren: Rachel who is 8, Lauren who is 6 and Ethan who is 4.
One daughter living in Santa Monica (who we're going to visit in Oct) who has a career in sales.
One son who is living at home still. Working and trying to pay off bills.
My husband who buys and fixes up houses to sell, who is "between houses" right now.(Yeah, I let him live at home too

)
We just put a "secret garden" and pond in our backyard and have been busy with that and just loving it! Next spring a gazebo and potting shed go in. My husband is the gardener although I am slowly getting into that part of it.
Well, I guess I've rambled on too long
Hope you're all having a wonderful day. I am a little slow on the workfront this week, so I'll check in later.
