Happy New Year ladies. Feeling good and starting the year off with a bang. Getting ready to go do some visiting before we leave this city and go home. I'm happy to report all is going well with my mom as well!! My sister came in today to be here after I leave. We are doing shifts for those of us that don't live here.

Jigglefree- Glad your mom is doing ok. Running isn't for everyone. I think I'm going to take a break while it's cold and just get in some gym workouts.
My new year has been going great with the healthy eating. Haven't been to they gym yet. Going tomorrow. Looking forward to getting back to it! AND my weight is coming back down for the holiday eating. I'm under 200 again.
I am not new to 3FC, although I have never seen a forum like this. I am always on and off the weight loss wagon, but this time Im determined to stay on! New Year is here and making alot of changes and my weight is only one of many!

Back on the grind after the holidays. I didn't have a stellar day yesterday because we were traveling and I wasn't prepared food wise for the LONG trip. I will be drinking a lot of water to flush out the salt though.

well today makes day 4 of being back on plan..i dont plan to weigh until the 1st of feb though. my arms and legs have been sore for the past couple of days due to the strength training i've been incorporating in my workout routine..it hurts so good! i think abut how nice and toned my arms will look for the spring/summer to keep me pushing through
Hello ladies. I'm back to work (so back to my online life!) and back on plan. I don't think i'll make my 148lbs weigh-in goal for January 3 but I'll just have to push it back to January 10th and keep my focus.
Lisa: Welcome! This is a good place to be Jiggle: So are you home now and past the holiday travel? I traveled alot over the holidays and got way off plan. Being back to the familiar should help get everything on track. Brit: Congrats on getting back on plan and goodluck for the next 28 and half days till weigh in!
Thanks for the WELCOME!!!!! I am on the right track. I downloaded this awesome app on my droid incredible that will keep track of my calorie intake and exercise log. I also went and joined the YMCA today so that I can use their gym. It is really up to par! I have a tendency to go to the gym more when money is being drafted from my account! I also have posted a motivation wall next to my closet. Its a bunch of pictures of me from the past few years. I am REALLY EXCITED about reaching my goal!
Sal27- The holidays were hard on everyone, Im sure you will be on target for the 10th!
Brit- Wow, 4 days on track! I wish I could have been on track on the 1st because i ate WAY too much! Glad to hear your toning is going well!
Jiggle- Yes flush that bad salt out! Soduim is my weakness, I love seasonings and pork, but I plan to do better!
Happy New YEar!!!!! Today is my first time logging in since last thursday Im getting into the habit of everything. Trying to get the ball rolling again.
Today was dreaded weigh-in Tuesday and I am down 0.6lbs which usually is good for a Tuesday but not this one because I've been avoiding my WW meeting so it's really 0.6lbs across the last 3 weeks. That's really slow weight loss. I am trying to put the holiday eating behind me and get back on plan.
I did not make my goal so I have revised my goal, updated my ticker and settled in for a week of healthy and body friendly eating. My new goal is 148lbs by January 18 weigh-in. That's 3.2lbs in 2 weeks - I can do it.

Lisa I also have the 24hr fitness debit my account but sadly it doesn't make me go. I've fallen off the gym wagon hard but plan to get back on soon. Vanity keeps me home because I hate to ruin my fresh press!
well went grocery shopping today..so no excuse for bad eating. i bought some apples,carrots,wheat bread,fat free turkey deli slices,ground turkey,veggies, low calories snacks ,etc. i did get some microwavable meals just for those days i dont feel like preparing lunch the sodium in them weren't that bad and the calories are VERY reasonable in them(all under 300 cals!)
Happy Wednesday ladies! I finally wi after days and I wi at 226.6 Not bad for all the crap I ate during the holiday. I should be back to my low this week.

Brit- Good job on shopping. I went as well and got most of the same things. I bought two Lean Cafe dinners. Walmarts brand for Lean Cousine. I tried the Chicken and Broccoli Alfredo, it was ok.
Im doing good for my first couple of days. I plan to go to the abs & Cardio class at the YMCA today! Aslo, I plan to make a chicken stir fry... I hope it turns out good. I can cook but healthy cooking is a special technique!

I have not been OP at all but I am starting off the new year right by posting on 3FC and making a doable plan to eat right and exercise.
I sign up for Jenny Craig tomorrow and I will begin on Friday. I made a commitment to myself to reach my goal in 2011 and to be a healthier me. At this point its a life or death decision...I lost my father on Dec. 3rd to heart disease and diabetes. My mother was diagnosed with high blood pressure and an enlarged heart only a couple of weeks before and neither of them had issues with weight like I have. Genetics was their main issue and I have both of their genes as well as a history of obesity for the past 5 years.
Bjeweled- I remeber you, not from this particular forum ! I remember the pic from your profile, its been awhile since I been here as well. SOOO sorry to hear about your dad. I will keep your mom in my prayers. YES, genetics are powerfull and we will beat the odds. WE CAN DO THIS
My plan is to go to they Y today, treadmill for atleast an hour and some ab training. I talked my auntie to getting on this track with me. Im trying to get her to come to 3fc for some online support. Anywho....My goal for today is to create a eating schedule or atleast know what Im going to eat before hand.
So I got on the scale and wi at 224.6 down from 226 Im happy about it I went grocery shopping yesterday and I did a great job getting all the nutritional foods that would help me reach my goal. Worked out yesterday and will be again after work today.
