    No calories, woohoo!!

  • Good Morning girls and Happy April Fools Day

Colleen called the number and to funny I will have to send that one around to everyone thanks

I do have to say Holly that cake sure does look good I may just have to have a piece of it myself especially since it is calorie free
  • Colleen, I thought your BD was today for some reason. I am sorry I missed it. But, Happy Belated. I cannot wait to hear about your pranks. Lol. Oh, I just did the phone number to our receptionist here. She is asking if it is a joke. Lol.

Reda, I am glad you got your first official ride under your belt. Does that mean riding season is officially here? Thanks for saying your are proud of my accomplishments. You are blazing up the WL too!

    Holly, how are you?

This time last year I was on my way to New Orleans. Wish I was today too.

I did get to ride to work today. I went to bootcamp, then went home to get bike. It was too pretty not to ride.

Wildfire, glad to see you back.

I am going to get busy. I will gab more later.
  • Birthday
It is my birthday today--no joke! Reda was just quick on her birthday wishing! I've pulled the phone # joke on my boss. They bought a boat and are anxious to get it. I told her some guy called about a boat...she called quick! It was good. I got a plant from DD and SH, and flowers from DS and his DGF for my BD. Nice. DH was sorry he didn't send flowers. I told him the new car was enough for this year!!

Holly, that cake looks good, and is what I should have stuck with! Boss brought donuts, and coworker brought cookies. Yum! Good news...I had a diet soda with them!

I've been messing with fish for 2 days. The Angel fish have been laying eggs. Again. The poor momma fish goes nuts trying to protect them. I set up another aquarium for just her and the eggs for NEXT time. Too late again now.

It's been a good day. Hope you are all having a good day too!
  • hello girls- ya I was early last night on Colleen wish but I didn't think I was going to be able to get on today so didn't want to miss wishing her a happy birthday Hope you enjoyed your Birthday

Great job on your prank with the boss Colleen that was good

Oh ya Angel fish if having babies do need to be in a different tank but you are learning that as you posted

Well we are off to Oklahoma tomorrow picking up DH's new bike Saturday, I think we are going to hang out for the day and ride you know just to say we been there, then back home on Sunday so it will be a long weekend again

Well I have to be on the road at 3am in the morning so off to bed I go
I will try to check in tomorrow but probably will be Sunday
  • good morning! I know Reda is at work already, one of her super early days. Yahoo on hubster's new bike tomorrow!

Hi Tammy, wow that was a year ago that you rode to New Orleans? Oh and I didn't comment before but WOW on your training to do a 5K!! You're a lean mean blonde running machine

Hi Colleen, glad you had a nice b-day Hope the angel fish babies make it!

Hey Wildfire, glad we didn't scare you off check in when you can

DH brought home Easter chocolate from the store last night I hadn't had any up to this point! Well this is why I work out every day, not to lose but not to gain.

I rode about 100 miles yesterday. It was so nice. I rode to DH's work to meet him so we could ride home. His workplace is 30 minutes from the Canadian border, that's how North it is! I hadn't seen his new workplace yet.

On the way there, I was going slowly down a side street and saw a person on a horse approaching, it was a HUGE, I mean HUGE draft horse; I slowed down even more and moved over to the right as much as possible and was really really light on the throttle, to not make any noise to scare the horse. The lady on the horse waved and smiled, and after I got to DH's work, he told me that was his boss. So I hope I made a good first impression

called my mom yesterday to tell her we wouldn't be there for Easter, she probably already knew cause I always have to work Easter til late in the afternoon...and she had the news that my sister is again in the mental ward of the hospital, suicidal. Not due to alcohol this time, apparently she has been 'dry' for at least 2 months, but severe depression.

She advertised for a boarder to help her with costs and the person stole a credit card and other things. So my sister was really depressed about that and about her life in general. I had terrible guilt feelings, but I also justify them that she has never been a nice person deep down, she always was selfish and just blurts things out, hurtful stupid things, not just about me (she was the only person to ever call me a 'beached whale' when I was like 10 or 11 ) but has said stupid or mean dumb things about my kids. So I truly do not like her nor want to spend any time with her, because you never know when she is going to stay nice or be a biatch.

    OK sorry for the rain

have to work out! but get to ride to work, ya hoo!!

Oh and I would love to be able to wear a t shirt at work today, and i need to just DO IT if I want to , but I still have not-svelte-arms and I know my jack*ss boss would be thinking 'look how fat her arms are' (because he makes comments like that out loud about customers)
  • good morning, what a JOY to wake to blue skies and sun and reasonable temperatures!! I'm sure Vermont had records broken yesterday for warmth, it was almost 80 if not actually 80. Incredible!!! It felt sooo good to ride without having layers and layers.

Wore the yellow t-shirt and it was okay, JerkyBoss had his own problems of a case of vertigo so he was all ---> and not focused on looking at my fat upper arms and I got a nice compliment that I posted about here http://www.3fatchicks.com/forum/mini...fantastic.html

I wish I had off today!! I would do yard clean up. I truly would have done some on my last day off but the ground was still soppy from all the rain. I hope my next days off are nice weather.

Didn't walk/jog yesterday, but did do 30 Day Shred level 3. Not sure what I'm going to do for workout soon, but I really should do a walk to enjoy the morning. It is such a simple pleasure to just hear the birds.

Our Easter plans are to wait for me to get home from work tomorrow, then DH will have his usual feast waiting here, so it's just us (DH, and two sons)

    have a great Saturday!
  • Too Hot!!
good evening! Can you believe that Vermont was TOO HOT today?! it was in the mid to high 80's and I was melting at work!! no fan, I stunk of onions and meat and felt so greasy the ride home felt sooo very good.

so many foolish customers today!! how can someone be so clueless as to the fundamentals of sandwich preparation? these people act like they don't feed themselves, they are just so spacey about ordering a stupid sandwich. "What kind of sandwiches do you have?" (um the kind with bread and filling) "Can I order one?" (no, I'm just standing here attentively looking at you, with pad/paper for no reason) "I have a bread choice?" NO, this is Soviet Vermont, no bread choices!

I will be so happy when I get a break from customer service

today's exericise was the Karen Voigt step/cardio/strength tape, then a walk with DH and Eddie the dog.

Oh hey! you girls were praising me for graduating up to that bigger (8" instead of 4") step...and I see that people use a 12" step!!!
  • good morning! we had another warm day on Saturday. or did I post on Saturday? I'm mixed up Had to go get my exercise log that I keep upstairs and check. Friday I did Biggest Loser 20 minutes; Sat. was Karen Voigt step/cardio tape and a walk; yesterday (Easter) was a 35 minute walk.

how was everyone's Easter? I had to work from 11 to 3 pm which wasn't too bad. Came home and sat on a lawn chair in the sun, that was so nice. DH made ham, fried potatoes, green bean casserole, baked beans, and cole slaw. I really wanted something for dessert but had nothing to work with, lol. Even the sugar and flour cannisters are almost empty. Also no Easter candy yesterday; had one Reese's egg and one Dove truffle on Saturday night and that was it.

Our weather is going to go back to more predictable April in Vermont weather, but as long as it stays above 45 during the days that's okay with me.

Getting down to the wire for my last days at the yucky winter job!! my target day is next Tuesday the 13. Although I remember that will be a sad day for Tammy, because isn't that when your older son ships out to Kosovo

My big 'thing' for this weekend...was wearing t-shirts to work. I am so self conscious of my upper arms, and knowing JerkBoss, he looks and I KNOW is thinking 'look how fat her arms are'. Because I've heard him say it about customers I should not care a bit about what an idiot thinks but it still bothers me. ANyway I used L'Oreal tanning cream the day before to give them some color.

time to chose an exercise and do it
  • Miserable
    Hi gals.

I'm so tired. I had a horrible night, no sleep. Considered going to ER. Had horrible stomach pains. I walked, and sat, and moved from bed to couch and started all over again. Whatever was twisted up or tied in knots, is now better. I feel fine, but am very tired! Sounds like there is no chance of leaving work early either. Humph!

Easter dinner was at our house, with just my folks over. Kids were busy. I kept it simple. Strawberry shortcake for dessert!

Busy weekend. No cycle riding, although it was nice out! Just too busy!

Hope you all had a happy Easter, and didn't eat too many chocolate bunnies!

Holly, I got quite a kick out of "Soviet Vermont"! I may twist that around a little for the not so bright Wisconsin insurance people!

Reda, how is DH's new bike? Ride it?

Tammy, I'm still not through the book you sent. If you are in a hurry to get it back, please just let me know. Reading takes a back seat to nearly anything else for me! I CAN read, I just don't usually find it that enjoyable as I am easily sidetracked, forget what I was reading and start over.

    Take care all!
  • Hi girls - Happy Easter- didn't get on yesterday we did make it to Oklahoma City Saturday morning, picked up the bike, loaded it and headed back home. When we got about 30 minutes from town DH's mom passed and then turned around so we stopped so they could look at the bike and when we opened up the trailer it was laying on its side good thing it has crash bars because they kept it from getting any damage, well there are a few little war marks but nothing real serious...... ( we had 6 straps holding it but one broke and wala) DH unloaded it and rode it home.
Easter Sunday well the boys were to busy to come home so we hooked up with a few other couples and went riding yesterday for about 6 hours it was so nice I even got a little sun I rode with DH and boy does he have a comfy back seat

Well girls I am back on real early morning shifts again this week so getting up at 2:30 and being on the road at 3:30 hopefully only this week but I know I will have to be there a couple days next week as well I am going to now have to post for a managers position.......

Oh my goodness next week you are done with winter job wow how the time has flowen the last few weeks-

Holly glad you got to catch some rays and real sun rays

Well I am not going to go on because I am coming down with a cold and I am tired and going to try to go to bed around 8:30 with some Nyquil

    Have a Great Tuesday
  • Hey Ladies,

I have not been on.... I have been sick with a sinus infection and bronchitis. I gave up and went and got a shot yesterday. I feel new today.... but I know I will gain weight from the shot (steroid). Thank you DH for the crap you gave me! I don't normally drink alcohol but I did this weekend trying to get that stuff out of my chest. It did not work but I sure was Lol.

CC: I am so sorry the bike fell over, good thing it did not get the tank like mine did. I am glad he rode it home. So, can you tell by my facebook pictures if it is like my DH bike? It sounds like it is. I hope your DH likes it as much as mine does.

Holly, you have just a little bit of time to deal with that DH (not dear husband either) boss...... Girl, you should not be ashamed of anything on your body as much as you work out. I bet your butt of a boss could not do a dumpster dive and pull himself up with his ab muscles! Lol..

Colleen, I hope your tummy issues are better. I am feeling the no sleep thing today. One of the side effects of that shot is NO sleep when you get it. Of course, instead of getting up and working on the house, I just watched the clock in bed. Oh, and don't worry about the book. Keep it as long as you need to!

The shot I got worked wonders, I was able to do boot camp this AM.

Well, this past weekend was my DS #1's last weekend at home. He will be off in less than 2 weeks. But, I am trying to handle it as best I can. We spend part of the day together on Friday before my junk got too bad. We had a good time.

I am going to get busy. I am behind b/c I was out yesteray.

I will gab at you all later.

    Tammy
  • good gosh ladies I am sorry to hear of the illnesses / not feeling good of all 3 of you

I had the worst sugar-carby binge day yesterday. Nothing to do but try to do better!! Only 1 week until I'm done that That Place.

I walked 25 minutes on Saturday, I forget what I did Sunday, I walked for 40-ish minutes (2.8 miles) Monday, did 30 Day Shred level 3 yesterday, and today the Keli Roberts step tape with the 8" step, and held light hand weights. I also hope to walk today.

Have to take Eddie the dog to the vets at 1:30, and we have a motorcycle meeting tonight.

I need to get outside and do some yard stuff. Again, hope everyone is feeling better!
  • rain
It has been stormy here for a few days, with more in the forecast. This weekend I would like to get up the guts to try riding the HD. I want to be ABLE to ride it, although I seldom think I would on my own. We have an idea that Tim could take the truck and camper trailer to a campsite, and I could bring the bike when I got off work. We would have the "early" campsite AND have our cycle for entertainment! It's SO big though, I'm a little scared! I would hate to tip it over! If I did, I would want to keep on riding instead of going home to fess up to DH!!!

We took the other 2 bikes and cycle trailer to sell on consignment at a local shop. Hope he has good luck!

DD has been working on her kitchen. X-DH has been helping her out. I am having quite the laugh! He isn't very motivated and she and SH drive him nuts bickering! Fun on my end! Hehe!

Hope everyone is feeling better. Spring is HERE!! (I hope)

    Later all--
  • Colleen when you say cycle trailer are you talking about one that hauls your bikes or one that you can pull behind your bike? We are looking for one to pull behind the bike because I know we won't have enough storage space when we go to Canada this summer
Oh and you will be able to ride the bike and don't worry about tipping it over- don't go into it scared and nervous- shoot I have taken DH's Boss Hoss and rode it but I have long legs so all the bikes I have been able to pretty much flat foot it and that is extremely helpful We loved taking our bikes when we went camping

Tammy I looked at your pictures on facebook and yes your DH's bike is a Street Glide (or maybe a standard) which looks like my DH's new bike except for my DH's has a trunk on the back- I sent a picture to facebook of it on Saturday as well
Glad you are feeling better and that you were able to go to boot camp
I know you are going through a rough time right now I just can't imagine what you are going through but remember we are here for you and if you neeed anything just let us know

Holly count down is on - sorry you had a rough day but hey you have been keeping up on your exercise so that is great Shoot me haven't even walked on the treadmil for the last couple of days this cold has been busting my butt and of course being on these stupid early hours

Well we are getting the cloudy, rainy days now and the wind is unbelieveable- shoot it blows you across the road it is so strong at times...
However this weekend is upper 60's so we are going to go riding hopefully

Well girls have a great evening and a super fantasic Thursday
