Ok so maybe I over reacted! I was down 2.5 today! I am so thrilled. Just really working hard to not let other peoples drama upset me & to medicate with food! Just keep reminding myself that I do have a choice! I can made a choice that is beneficial to me or hurt me!

Well, my councilor told me that eating starches in the evening is harder on my body because it takes longer to digest. &%^$??
So I am trying it for a week. My FE was usually a skinny cow fudgecicle. Soooo yummy! Have you tried them? At first they recommended them to me. Now I am banned from eating them. At least for a week.

I am also not to eat beef or pork more than 2X a week. She recommended chicken and fish 5 times a week. I love fish, but getting very bored. It's BBQ season and there is nothing like a nice strip loin on the Q, ya know?

Good news... I was down 1.2 today!!! I know it had nothing to do with me giving up my starch last night and not having my skinny cow, as all changes like that usually take 2 days to show up on the scale. So I will keep at this plan for a week and see if I can get under 180. >>fingers crossed<<

Hang in there Tmo!!!!! My consultant said the same thing about starches. I am not to have them in the evening either. She explained that our metabolism slows down when we sleep therefore more difficult to digest. Bye bye evening cereal...oh well!!!!

I'm down another 0.8 today. Total loss 5.4 in ttwo weeks. I'm tickled pink right now :0)

Great losses Ladies. I'm so proud of you xox

That is fantastic Tammy! Good for you! I am proud of you!!
I stuck to my diet last night to a tee, so I am anxious and nervous to weigh in today. I'll check in later to let you know how that went.

Hi there girls.. Sorry I haven't been around but not much news to report.. I haven't been in to the centre this week.. I was going to go yesterday but didn't have my car.

Christina you are doing great!!! Lookin good too.

TMo I had a hard time near the starting too.. They said the pills usually take a couple of weeks to kick it. I need to have a starch at night otherwise I am starving. Do you like cottage cheese? I have 1/2 cup of low fat cottage cheese with 1/4 cup of crushed pinapple.. It is soooo good. Great for a night time treat. = 1 dairy and 1/2 fruit.

Julia Medicating with food is a lot of peoples problem. Eating seems to make you feel better but not in the long run. Hugs to you girl..

Tammy 5.4lbs in 2 weeks is great.. Keep up the good work..

I am going finally to weigh today.. They are probably going to wonder where I was all week.. LOL.

Hello ladies! Glad to see everyone reporting their losses!

I've reached my first official plateau I think. It's been close to 2 weeks and my weight has not broken the 174 mark. It's gone up a pound or two every few days but then keeps on hitting 174.0. little annoying. I think I've gotten a little too relaxed with my eating maybe... also working out more diligently might help kickstart it too... BAH! Gotta tighten up my game!!

Goal for next week is to kick 2 lbs to the curb. I'm sure I can find somewhere for it to come from.

have a wonderful weekend girls! Hold strong. Make the foods you can eat fun and you won't miss the other stuff as much.

Hey HM Gals,

I stayed the same today but that's ok. Had a great week loss wise.

A bit of a hard day, bad news regarding my Dad's cancer and one of my son's is really depressed. Man, I'd eat french fries and gravy right now Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I'll stick to my salmon and veggies to avoid being depressed myself on Monday at weigh-in *smile*.

Have a great night xo
Tammy

You all sound like you are doing so well and really sticking to it!!
Way to go HM gals!!!

I didn't go to the center yesterday. I just wasn't in the mood. I felt bloated and didn't want to see the scale. It depresses me. So I went this morning and I am down another pound!!! Woot!! That makes my two week weight loss at -3.4 Not bad considering I took a tumble midway through! It encouraged me enough to keep at it anyway!

Tammy, so sorry to hear your bad news. You may find it very difficult for the next while, but stick to it girl. Do it for YOU! Think of how great you feel when you get on that scale and see a loss. You deserve that feeling!!

I had to take my daughter to get dental surgery done today. 4 molar extractions to prepare her for braces. So I am playing the part of full time nurse this mothers day weekend. I am so sorry she is so groggy and sore, but it makes me feel good to be needed.

Happy Mother's Day to those of you who are privileged enough to be moms, or to those who are celebrating their moms. I hope you all have a very happy fat free weekend!!!

Hugs to all...

TMo
