    Don't feel bad for eating a burger.. I make mine out of 3oz Exlean Beef (1Protien)and all the other goodies,(1/2c Veg)Tomato,(1/2c Veg)lettuce,1tbs(fat) Mayo.. Dont forget your Diet Pop ! lol

    Just cant sleep anymore ... Went to bed with the Kido at 8pm.

    Now I Know I haven't loss in WI but my MM Should have Moved. I DId just kick AF out the door the other day but I still Bloated ! Ekk,

  • Good luck on your weigh-in Christina.. YOu always do well on your measurments. I think because you are exercising a lot.

    I was up on Monday but I am not worried.. I always tend to be up after the weekend. Talked to my couselor about it and she said its very common and I should be ok with it if I am losing well during the week. She also said I will find when I am on Maintenence that usually that is how it goes. Up a little and then down again..

    I am really happy how Herbal magic is working for me.. I was really putting it off about losing weight and I am so glad I started this.. Now I am down 24 lbs and feel so much better. Look out summer... Haha

  • Thanks for the support Itsgreat! Looking back, I probably shouldn't have eaten the bun.

    I know this is a lifestyle change and not a diet, but does anyone else feel embarrassed about other people making comments. I told my brother I was trying to eat healthy and he kept making these comments about me being careful not to get too full on my carrot sticks. I HATE that! I turned to him and told him it wouldn't kill him to eat a carrot every now and then, and that seemed to shut him up.

    I don't see any problems in eating a burger from the Q! We are allowed 4oz lean beef. So just add some onions and seasonings and you're good to go! I was feeling guilty because I know there was egg and bread crumbs in the hamburger, I had more than enough protein for the day and way too much starch! I did run on the treadmill the next morning for 30 minutes. Which almost killed me!!!

    My weigh-in was down .6 So I feel OK. Imagine how much I would have been down if I had behaved! Hehehe.

    Ah well, I am not beating myself up about it! At least I'm not stuffing Chocolate bars in my mouth like I was so tempted to do last night. Instead, I had a skinny cow fudge bar and ate it very slowly. It satisfied that craving.

    So cool we started on the same day Itsgreat! We can track our progress together and provide tips!

    I asked about Veggie Ground Round. It's an alternative to ground beef. I LOVE chili, but usually make it with steak because I hate biting into the little gristle that ground beef usually has. So Veggie Ground Round is a vegetarian substitute. 3/4 cup = 1 Protein. So I will be making chili this weekend. I'll let you know if it's gross. It looks like ground beef. (That sounded dangerous)

    Getekkrom - I have told very few people what I am doing health wise. To many people find out and then all the eyes are on you and their judgement as well.

    You will do fine today Christina on the WI. You are very consistant. I have relaxed alittle to much. Still losing but not as fast Need to keep my nose to the grindstone.

    Trudy my counsellors say the same thing if I have not had any loss over the weekend. I am happy to not be up tho. I will take any little loss I can get and keep plugging away.

    ItsGreat2BeMe - I think the fact that we are not constantly over eating is a good thing, A few little slips here and there are understandable especially when we are in a situation with limited choices.
  • You're right about that JuliaHood. I have a big wedding to go to in PEI this summer. I am not telling anyone that I am doing HM because they will expect me to be thin when I get there. If I don't reach my goal, that is the last thing I want.
    The last time I was home (in PEI) I was 160lbs. I have put on 25lbs since then and I haven't told them. Family can be so cruel without even realizing. If I can just get close to that weight by the end of August then I will be happy. That is a great motivator for me.

    From now on, I'll be keeping my healthy eating to myself.
  • ok Today..... I was the Same 168.8 and my inches I LOST -6 more. So I'm at a total of 49inch loss. I'm happy about my weight because I know I'm working out know and I have muscle building up now too so the weight come off Little slower for a few weeks.

    Next week I get a copy of my progress I have gone from my Inch Sheet and I cant wait to see it !!
    I know for 1 my Ribs wore a 46 and I'm a 36 Now !!
    Got me 3new underwire bras... Love it !
  • Wow thats great Christina.. I might have lost a couple more lbs than you but you are WAY ahead of me in inches.. I just got measured this week and I am down about 18 or so inches.. LOOK at you with 49.. That is rockin'!!!!! I don't really exercise but I have started doing a few sit ups. My gut is where I carry most of my weight.
  • So I got weighed today and I am back down to 241. Hoe hum.. Hopefully by Friday I will be down at least one... I really shouldn't go in on Mondays since I retain water from the weekend.
  • gtekkrom Sometimes I think its good to tell people you are trying to lose weight, because It seems for me at least, it keeps me on track. I hope you are down your 20 for the wedding. Yes family seem to think its ok to say stuff that you wouldn't even think of saying to a stranger.. I'm sure you will do just fine..
  • Hey Julia.. Back on track girlie. Just keep plugging away and before you know it, you will be down.. Its a long journey but I seem to find it easier as time goes by.. Its like I am getting used to eating this way..

    Down a total 17 today. We got a new scale. The weights match. I am 304.2 naked and 306 with light clothes on and was 306 at the centre. Its nice to know that they are in sync!

  • Trudy - I know what you mean about getting use to the good food. My body seams to be rejecting things I use to consume by the bag full ie chips. The little hand full just does not sit well. The cheat is not worth the feeling yucky afterwards. Took a few time to distinguish whether it was guilt or really a bad reaction. Glad its the bad reaction since guilt usually makes me eat more LOL.

    I weighed-in a -2.2 today and still have two days to go for my week point. First measurements on Friday...yippie!!!! Must say that I had my hubby encourage me...there is this girl at the center that seems to be very competitive argggggggg. She started the same day I did and I saw her again tonight. She asked how I was doing and was proud to say that I had lost 1.6 lbs (hadn't been weighed yet). She turns around and replies "That's it?? I lost over 6 lbs!" Womp womp womp

    Told her I was happy for her but was I really ? LOL

    Do we really get a progress chart? I didn't know that...cool!
