Hi there girls..
Welcome Gtek.. It's nice to have some new people here.
You guys are all doing great.

Julia.. 15 lbs is soo good. Good for you for meeting your goal..

Preppingbride. You are very inspirational.

Ashley A bikini.. Wow I wish I could but never again.. Too old and too many stretch marks from kids..

Gtek.. Sometimes I think being home all day is easier to diet since you can make "good for you" food but then it is also easier to grab some cookies or stuff. You got a great deal for HM

Well I am down 2.4lbs this week.. I am thrilled because I didn't "feel" thinner and my scale at home is all over the place.. I am finding it easier now that I have been doing this for 2.5 months now. I can't wait for summer.

At home no one really wants to hear about the couple of pounds I lost that week, so I can tell everyone here.. Haha

Thanks for the recipe link Christina. Its always nice to try some new things.

Yesterday we went to East Side Marios for lunch and I saw at the back of the menu they have lighter foods and the calorie count, fat and sodium numbers. I like that so you can choose something with in that.

I kinda over did it today and I hope the scale will not reflect it.. I had too many biscuits with my coffee and an extra starch as well..

Do any of you guys over eat sometimes? I hope I am not the only one. At least I am eating stuff I am supposed to and not burgers etc.

Just had a lazy day today and did nothing much.
Bye for now.

Today is day 4! I think I am up. I was bad this weekend. My brother had a big BBQ on Saturday so I made a great couscous salad so I could eat something without letting everyone know I was "dieting". Well, my SIL dropped the damn salad on the grass!! Can you believe my luck! The dog was on it faster than a fly on .... well, you know where I'm going with that!

I had a hamburger!
I was starving. The good thing is, I didn't have the potato salad and I just put mustard on the burger. But I did eat the bun.
So now I have to go into the center today and get that disapproving look! I am sure I am up 2+ lbs. I am feeling guilty enough to stay on track though. I did really good yesterday.
One thing I have learned is that it's OK to screw up as long as you start a new day fresh! Clean slate!
I'll let you know how badly I did on the scales!

Looks like everyone had an active weekend!

ashleymorgan, the wedding is June 27th, 2009. It's a while away which is fine by me because my goal is to be looking good in skirts this summer -- and then I'll start thinking about looking good in a white dress next year. But that's awesome that you're going to be reaching your goal soon!

Christina, always helpful getting little tips for food and exercise. I'll be sure to check those sites out.

Trudy, you've done great losing another 2.5 lbs! And don't you worry about whether you feel it or not because as long as you see the scale just keep on going down, you'll be able to see and feel the results in no time. Even better when you're adding a little activity to the mix.

Julia, keep on giving that seamstress more work with each fitting! You'll look wonderful for the wedding.

Great2beme, Welcome to the group! it's a wonderful program

gtek, boo on the cous cous salad biting the dust, but I'm sure that little stray won't have a terrible impact. Just be extra good for the rest of the week!

As for me, I'm nearing my 4th week anniversary and have reached my goal of losing 10 lbs within the month! woo hoo! I'm not counting on another 10 coming off in the next month because I'm going to try to focus more attention on the fitness side of it which will likely build muscle and slow the weight 'loss'. Fine by me as long as the fat loss keeps going down!

Keep motivated everyone! Some excellent results are churning out of this little group!

Don't feel so bad gtekkrom, I ate a burger yesterday too. I actually don't think I did so bad though. I had kept a starch especially for that and the burger was so yummy. At my weigh-in this afternoon, my consultant said it was ok a part from not being a low calorie bun.

Any other of you have burgers once in a while? Are they so bad if from the BBQ??

Gtekk, I am on day 5....we started together *smile*

Have a great Tuesday all!

Starting weight : 253
Today's weight : 251.4
