Angel how is the foot doing today?

I had an ok day. A bit high on the calories again. I'm still making the adjustment to waking up early and working.

Wednesday: 1872 calories, 855 deficit, 45 minutes curves

Hi Valerie....The foot has been good today but then I haven't been running. And all yesterday, it only started hurting around 1:30pm (then I stopped running) and then pained again a few hours later. Thank god its not a continual pain but just a stabbing occasionally. Very puzzling!!! Don't stress about your calories.....you've been sooo diligent about your food plan and workouts......hang in there!!

HI Guys!

hey carla! u can come visit us here anytime!!!! Angel hope the foot is better! no date set for the wedding yet.. but miss turtle is ripping her hair out cuz shes in the middle of buying a new house!

Ive been running to the hospital every nite cuz my grandmother has been in there all week... not really anything they can pin down ... other than at her age everything is just wearing out (94 yrs old) they are sending her back home tomorrow the dr said just keep her comfortable .... (sigh)

so other than a walk with chai i havent been to the gym...

WOAH...........well my visit to the scale this morning was a wake up call for sure.... i am up 5 lbs since Easter... I pronised myself when i started this journey that when i lost weight.. and i was maintaining that i would NEVER EVER let myself gain over 5 lbs... and yes i have been eating OP... but i have also been having JUST A FEW goodies... lmao looks like @ 5 lbs of goodiesOK got up this morning and walked 2 miles... yes i have said this before but its time to get completely back on the wagon... no if ands or butts!!!!!Nose to the grindstone and all that!! I might even have to get those tai bo tapes out!

Hi girls.....well yesterday was my rest day and so far no pain in my foot. Today at the gym is a core training class, so I'll take that and do some weights afterwards. Not sure if I'll try the treadmill or not, maybe another day of rest for those tired ol' dogs of mine!! Food has been OP and thats good because TOM is here.....hopefully I'll push past the bloating and come out with a loss.

Curly.....that was my wake up call also!!! My gf was visiting for Easter and yeah, over her visit.....we endulged.....and then she went home and I continued. Lets just say that dh while on a weeks holidays, makes a mean banana cream pie, pastry and strawberry shortcake!!! SO NO MORE OF DH'S BAKING!!! Sorry to hear of your grandmother, I hope they are able to find some answers, meanwhile.....congratulations on your 2 mile walk!!!! I bet chai loved it also!!!! YOU AND ME CURLY....WE CAN DO THIS!!!!

Hiya Girls,

Well, Mind if I join ya? LOL... That vacation took it's toll. Actually, I did better than I would have thought I would do. I did gain 3.5 lbs but I expected it once I started. Toooo many BBQ's, and a heckuva good brekky buffet at the casino! I had a good meeting last night, got my motivation back on track. I had a good 40 min cardio workout tonight at the gym so I'm back in the saddle there too....

Val~ Keep on keepin' on GF!!!!!! It's tough work but I bet you look soooooooooo good! I know you feel better. Stick it out for the long run. You have done so well. Plateaus happen. (ACKKK I sound like a cliche machine).. but I guess I'm just sayin Good Job and *pats on the back*

Angel~ Hope your foot is doing better . Keep a close eye on it. GJ to you for sticking OP, especially with your lil visitor!

Curly~ How's your gramma doing? I spent a little time with my grandpa when I was in Seattle. He's 95 but looks and acts not a day over 75 lol... GRANDPARENTS ROCK!!!! Oh, and I'd love a kitty too... when I get my dog we'll be getting a lil feline lso,a so they can be buds. Keep up your good work too GF

Iwmonn.....Welcome back!!! Glad to hear you had a great time in Seattle!!! A good time for sure and now that you're back?....great to see you right back at it!!! that little gain will be gone in no time flat.

Curly....How are you? back on plan? get out for that early am walk again?

I just got in from the gym and glad to be back!!! We had a filler teacher and WOW....she used muscles I never knew I had!!! WOOOZA!!! Boy is it gonna be a hot one this weekend.....tommorow is supposed to be 92!!! Put on that sun screen girls!!! Have a great Memorial Weekend!!!

walk? umm no... but i did come up with a way to shed a few pounds!!!! i got my hair cut to chin length!!!! wooo hoo and i love it!!!

i guess my thinking was with all that hair no one could see how heavy my face was ( yeah right)yes its just hair.. but u have to understand all that hair was my security blanket... so the deeper meaning is ... I am ready to move on... ready to get the rest of the weight off... i have let the old me go... and i am ready to move on to the next phase... climbed outta that rut... not to mention all that hair was **** when the hot flashes hit!!! lol

it looks sooooooo cute!!! and talk about cheek bones, now i am all eyes and cheekbones instead of all hair!!!



anyways enuff of my ramblings... hope u guys are doing well and enjoy the weekend !!

woohooo.....the new and improved CURLY LOCKS!!!! Time for a new picture please!!!....sounds great. Yeah, its amazing how we think we hide ourselves.....when I look back at old pictures, there's me in a longer bigger tshirt (2x) thinking "if its black I must look great!!!" NOT!!!! I was only kidding myself to think that other people wouldn't think I was that gargantuan. Obviously something has clicked in your mind (after some soul searching I expect) and NOW THERE'S NO LOOKING BACK!!!! Have a great weekend!! I'm off to the gym, although I can barely walk after that new teacher yesterday,.....but its all good!

Good Morning Pics!!!!

well i was brave this morning stepped up on the scale and weighed in the "im in a rut" pounds are going away i was 225 this morning... so being up 1 pound is much better than 5!!!! now its time to move in the other direction!!

would anyone like some heat??? yesterday it was 90 degress with 80% humidity!!! UGH!!!!! even with the window ac on it was like 85 inside my house maybe thats where those xtra pounds went i was in a sauna all day!!!!!

oh and ive been painting the outside of my house so maybe house painting burns a few cals! the other night my arm felt like if i rolled that roller one more time my arm was just gonna break off like in the cartoons!!!

hehehe! this morning i got up bright & early and covered all my windows to try to keep the sun out today.. before it gets really steaming!

last week was a hard week for me .. no gym at all, my grandmother, who is 95 , was hospitalized and every evening i was back and forth to the hospital... i also stay overnite with her 2 nites a week... the drs. said she is on the "downhill slide" and we should just try to keep her comfy & happy so ive been trying to spend more time with with her. Yesterday she was having my cousins over and a few of her sisters.. and she was always one to make a big fuss over any company so... I made a huge dinner and she was really happy to tell everyone... just how much she had to offer for dinner... AND it was a very healthy one at that.... lol for the most part...

we had baked chicken, nice fresh baked carrots, peas, (now the not so good stuff...i also made the usual high CARB side dishes that go with baked chicken! * but i stuck to chicken and carrots!

and talk about temptation... she is of the "old school" has to have a new cake every 2 or 3 days just in case someone stops by to visit ... and she can offer them GOODIES!.....

Today my family is having a big cookout... i made coleslaw with splenda.. so i think i will be ok today i will stick to a plain burger and coleslaw ....

ok i guess i have rambled on long enuff ... I am off to paint a lil bit before it gets tooooo HOT enjoy the rest of the holiday !!!!!

Hi girls......Hope everyone is enjoying their Memorial Day!!

Curly.....How is Grandma today? I'm sure she really enjoyed and appreciated your help with the dinner!!!Back on track now eh? good job!!! How do you do your coleslaw? love me a good slaw!!!

The gym had early closure today, but I was able to get there and get r done!! I tried running on my foot and it seemed to be okay....ran for 20 minutes although I was favouring it abit. Dh is wanting to paint also.....but first we have a border print to remove from the bathroom. So we're off to Home Depot....then we'll grill for dinner. It's been a great OP day so far. tc

woooo weee what a day .,. i paintedfrom 10 till 12 30 then went out on the boat with my dad... then had some lunch... then rode the motorcycle for @ an hour then got into my row boat and paddled for about an hour... then rode the motorcycle for a while then came home and took chai for a walk!

dang i am sunburned and i never burn..

well the coleslaw musta been good cuz everyone raved a bout it..

only problem is i dont measure anything

iused 2 small bags of the cabbage mix

umm a small box of splenda, and low fat mayo ummm lets say 1 cup, some vinegar, celery seed, s & P

Hi Everyone!

I'm back, I was away for a festival for 4 days. I actually had 3 days of eatting off plan. I didn't even journal. It was just too difficult being out at a show and going out to eat all meals.

I didn't get any exercise but I did a lot of dancing! I must have sweated off 10 pounds. It was so HOT outside. I really hope I didn't gain any weight from this vacation! I'd like to think I can take a few days off for special occasions w/o messing up my losses.

Monday: 1301 calories, 1050 deficit

oooooo what kind of festival val? sounds like a lot of fun! Dont wory even if u did have a small gain you will take it right back off... my plan when i get to goal is to monitor my weight and never allow myself to gain over 5 lbs..

Curly it was a music festival. Bands, food crafts.

I weighed myself this morning and just about fainted when the scale said 202 I don't think I could possibly gain 7 pounds in 3 days It's TOM also so I'm going to try and reweigh on Friday. This is really fustrating. First haven't lost for 3 straight weeks now this. I'm sure glad I get support here because I almost feel like quitting.
