I told you I was taking it easy I did exercise yesterday, I just didn't walk. Today is a good day, though.

Nice to have a break day, Lydia!!

I didn't walk either as I had so much to do at home yesterday. But I stuck my ped in my pocket while I did housework and stuff all day... and got 7,157 steps! So I thought that was pretty good considering!!!

Oops forgot to add that is 3.58 miles

No miles to log for yesterday. I did a lot of errands and played hard. My day off from my workout.

Jogged on the mill today. Also pushed around the steam vac and moved furniture working up a bit of a sweat. I might jump rope later on.

Have a nice day everyone.. keep moving.

I didn't go walking again today but I did make a bunch of trips up and down my 3 flights of stairs to drag out stuff to give to the church kids for their camp fund raising yard sale... so I was surprised that I got so many steps altogether!

Date: 4/24
Miles: 3.752
Total Miles: 331 (I decided to include the Chick March miles which is why my total went higher; I have done 662,365 steps since I started keeping track in February. I want to get at least a million this year!)

I had a great day yesterday! I putzed around the house doing odds and ends AND I did the 5 Mile Advanced Walk from WATP! Now my kitchen is clean (except the floor, which I'll do ASAP), my checkbook is balanced and most of the laundry is done. I also hit my 50 mile fitness walking goal for April, so I moved it to 60 miles! Tonight and Wed will be tricky, but I won't break my streak--today is Day 115!

Have a great day!

Michele

We only stayed at Sea World for about 3-3 1/2 hours yesterday, as opposed to our normal 5-8, so I didn't get as many miles in as I had hoped. Still, 3.1 is nothing to sneeze at!

I don't know if it's possible, but I think I may be pushing myself too hard with my walking (even though I haven't been doing all that much, comparitively speaking) because for the last week or so, my legs have been hurting. Not just sore, actual PAIN. Last night it was so bad that I couldn't even sit up. I had to lay down on our fluffy couch to get the pain to go away. Has anyone else had this problem?

Good Morning!

Jayde: I was on vacation in Las Vegas and that was my total for the whole time we were gone 7 days!...We walked our butts off there and actually when I came home I had lost 4 lbs...Super happy about that. Of course it's taken 5 days to get back into the swing of things at home. I was pooped!

Check in later....bye for now....Blyn

Wow Blyn! I'm impressed you can lose weight on vacation. In Vegas no less. Great job!!!
I was away for a bit myself, I can't believe we are in Wisconsin! It is one of only 5 states in the whole country that I've never been to. (the others are Alaska, Mississippi, Alabama, & North Dakota)
I'm going to try to remember my miles:::
April 20....2
April 21....2
April 22....1
April 23....2
April 24....1.5
Total walked this journey.....36.5

Keya, sorry to hear about your migraine. Take care of yourself and I am glad to hear it eased up a bit.

Blyn, someone said it earlier.. but I am going to repeat it.. you are the only one I've heard of that goes on vacation and comes back weighing less. !! Maybe I should go to Vegas.

Lydia, when I first got back on the mill my legs were practically useless to me for quite awhile. Spaghetti legs almost.. and talk about sore. One thing I did was elevate my legs on the wall while lying down on my bed. It really did help. Don't push too hard.. but if you work through some soreness it gets better.

Yes ladies.. the zero miles is not a typo. I had 2 back to back meetings after school today and guests came over tonight (they just left).. so no miles. With a day off yesterday followed by an unplanned day off today I need to do something about it tomorrow. But tomorrow I have a district meeting followed by plans to meet a friend. The only way I could possibly fit in exercise is to wake up early and do it (tooooooooo difficult with low blood pressure) or do it at work. So tomorrow I will jump outside with the kids again. No miles for our challenge but it will get me moving.
