Cat86 that's soooo frustrating. I've been stuck at 130.8 for a while too. No budge. I guess we just need to keep our nose to the grindstone and power on. I mean what's our alternative, give up and GAIN weight? We can do this!!!

I know, it's so frustrating! I've been working my butt off! I also dont understand how it doesn't even move just .1 of a pound ever! Crazy scales! But I'm not giving up!

cat, I absolutely feel your frustration- I feel that I should at least be at 128 or so for all the effort I have been putting in, I have been killing it at the gym and with my food intake, but yet I continue to bounce around in the 130's.

Today I was 132.8. This will be the last time I weigh in for a week or so, I'm getting too irritated and letting the number on the scale make me grumpy each morning.

The thing I find quite amusing is that when I put my scales away for a few days, the number dropped by 2lbs! Now that I'm weighing every day, it doesnt budge! I think it remembers the number if you do it too often! Maybe I'll put mine away for a while too...

Cat, I feel like you're right. I was on vacation for 3 days and didn't weigh myself- when I came back I was the same weight (and maintaining on vacation = losing at home, if that makes sense . I'm still at 130.8 so maybe I should put my scale away for a couple days too... if that's possible.

I'm UP to 133 today. WHAT THE HECK?? Ok, so I ate a little over my calls yesterday, but I was so so hungry all day and I didn't have time to go to the gym. But surely that isn't enough to put on .8 of a pound? I'm going back to my 1200 cals today and going for a 10K run, if the scale isnt down again tomorrow I'm putting it away for a while.

So I hopped on the scale today when I was at the pharmacy and nearly died. I was UP one kilo since last Thursday at the gym. Trying to ignore the whole shock of this, and will weigh at the gym tomorrow if my leg is feeling up to a run. Hopefully it was because it's a different scale/fully clothed in street clothes/had just eaten lunch/etc.

I do have a scale at home (and yes I am slightly obsessed) and have definitely weighed myself both before a meal, without clothes, and after a meal, with clothes. The difference for me can be as much as 3+ pounds. One night after dinner I weighed myself out of curiosity and I was 135 (gulp). The next morning right after waking up when I normally weigh myself I was back down to 131 or whatever I was at that point. Don't fret- too many variables changed between your gym weigh-in and the pharmacy one today

Haaaaaha, I'm such a liar- I said I wouldn't weigh myself this morning- who am I kidding?! I couldn't resist. I wanted to not weigh myself, I really did, clearly I have a slight addiction to my scale, eek! Anyway, I was 132.6. Today I'm not bummed though, I'm getting fairly used to seeing this number.

cat, clearly you have stronger willpower after not weighing for a week.

I was coaxed by my scales to weigh in this morning too. I swear they are evil, and they laugh at me when my back is turned. I need to name my scales....Lucifer? Yeah..Lucifer. Anyway, Lucifer beckoned me this morning to weigh. I was at 139. So I'm going with it. I go to my fat doctor today for another injection and weigh in, but that's not until lunchtime, and I know the weight I register at my appointment will have me back in the 140's, but I'm going with what Lucifer told me this morning. I have to say...even if the scales arent moving, my clothes are feeling better on me..not so tight. So I know I'm losing inches as well. Do any of you take your measurements and if so, how often? Clearly I'm obsessed with the scales..I'm almost afraid to get the tape out. It could be a new obsession, and Lord knows I dont need another one!
Hope everyone has a fantastic day!! Be strong!!

I do from time to time, not any set time frame, just whenever I think of it, so maybe once every five or six weeks, sometimes more. Good job on your clothing fitting better, that's always nice!

The thing about measuring is I can never be sure how tight I pulled it the last time ... so I'm never sure how accurate it is. Any suggestions on the best way to measure?

Honesty is my policy. If I pull it tight or even very slightly tight I feel like I'm cheating myself. I do it so that it's firm, not loose, not tight- if that makes sense?

I have a retractible body tape measure. There's no room for error with it. You can find them at GNC or online search "body tape measure".

So, I've got reason to celebrate! I went to my weight loss clinic today for measuring, weighing and injection. I haven't seen much of a decline in the scales, but I've lost 4"!! Woohooo!! Not to mention how much better I feel mentally and physically.

Toot toot!!! (that would be me tooting my own horn)
