@AKim- I'm not trying to sound like a know it all, but 900 calories is not enough fuel for your body. It's definitely a number that would be hard to sustain for an extended period of time. Everything that I've ever read has said for women to not go below 1200 calories.
You're going to do what you want to do, but to me 900 seems too low. Is there any reason that you must drop 2 pounds per week? Is there a special event that you're counting down to?
Today I got on the scale and started laughing. Even although I ate absolutely great, did two yoga classes yesterday (one was a pretty tough class) and did 40 mins of cardio, plus walked a lot- I managed to go from 133.8 (where I was stuck at for three days) to 135.6, I did up my cals yesterday, but good cals and by 400 or so, I thought that might have helped. I have a couple of different strategies, hopefully one of them works. I have noticed that even although I have been drinking lots of water and several cups of green tea each day, the last few days I have not been peeing like I usually do (ever ten minutes! ), I wonder if I'm retaining water- any thoughts anyone? I know potty subject is a bit t.m.i , but my other bathroom business hasn't been the same either.....have any of you noticed this while on a plateau?
I should also add that my period isn't due until around the 16th, it's seldom right on time, but roughly the 16th.
Hopefuly- I hadn't looked at your picture thread until just now, wow! I remember seeing those pictures not so long ago but didn't recall the name associated with them, you're so small in your avatar pic, congratulations!!!

Well I think I figured mine out- my period came this afternoon- almost a week early. The funny thing is, my fairly new friend who I see usually four or five days per week is pretty much the same height and weight as me and got interested in working out and eating healthy after seeing how it has helped me (which I love!), she was saying that she had hit a plateau exactly when I did too which was odd then this afternoon I told her about my period and she was laughing because she got her period early too- our periods must have synchronized. Sooooo, I'm hoping this is the cause of my gain. I'm not fretting over it, I know there's no possible way I gained that much for no reason, I eat super clean, workout often and eat little sodium......but still, it's nice to see that number go down, just for the boost alone.
I hope you see a loss soon before you get too discouraged.
Bananapancakes - That is so weird that you synchronised! I have heard about it happening but I can't say it's ever happened to me, it's kinda freaky!
After seeing 133.6 on Wednesday, I'm up to 134.2 today. I know exactly why it's happened though! I went on a first date with a new guy on Wednesday and I havent really drank much since new year. I'm guessing my body is holding on to all the water it can get now! Off for a good workout at the gym in a little while and chugging water! Will hopefully be back down tomorrow... On the plus side, the date was lots of fun!

In addition, featherweights don't lose 2lbs of fat per week. Fat, water weight, and muscle tissues, yes they can lose 2lbs per week on an extreme calorie cut ~ but that's never a good thing. 1lb per week maximum is reasonable for a featherweight.
Sacha, thanks for the reminder that we feathers should be a little more realistic (and patient) about our weight loss. Also, congrats on your 130.6- almost there!!!
Hey ladies! I used to be pretty active in 3FC, but have been really busy with life/marriage/moving/working blah blah blah. I have stopped in now and again, but really want to try to come back for good!
I was 122 just 6 months ago for my wedding, but am up to 132. Ready to get back in the game and loose this weight for real!
Love this thread, congrats to all of you seeing loses!
I saw a nice little drop down to 137.8 today after being stalled for a few days because of TOM. I'm desperately trying to get to 129 by April 1st and I think I just may be able to accomplish that goal.
Yay, Ashley89! I'm jealous- you've definitely done better than I have over the past few days. I'm still at 131! I can't wait to see 130, which I haven't seen in about 6 months, and will be elated to be at 129. Your success is motivating me
