Hi everyone! Hope I can join into this thread, I've been hovering around 139/140 for literally months and finally the last few days I've been weighing at 138.6. I think I've made it out of the 140's FINALLY and hope to make it to 130 by April 8th. That weekend I have a trip planned with some friends and I would love to show up 8 pounds lighter!

So...seven weeks to lose 8 lbs sounds reasonable, and hopefully do-able!

Hi guys! I want to get out of the 130s too! I am currently around 138-139. I was happy about that since 140-145 was my weight for what seemed like forever. Then last year I totally hit 128! Slowly over time I gained it back. Then over the holidays I went from 135 to 145! EEEEK!

So i am happy to be have lost the 6-7 pounds and now I am serious. I can totally get to 135 by the end of this month (if not more) and then hopefully 130 by the end of March...

What are you guys doing? The last 20 pounds is much harder to lose, I would like some ideas! Thanks!

Hi guys...I normally post in the 120s thread but, well, you can figure it out. Hoping I'll be in this thread for 2 weeks max. I somehow put on 7 pounds over the weekend from just constantly eating all day every day on a mini-vacation...I was about 58.8 kg on Thursday morning, and was just about 62 kg this morning.

Aye aye aye, well when I started in here last week I got down to 133.8, but then my period made an unexpected appearance and I'm been gradually going up all week, for the last two days I have been 138! I've been eating great (other than some low cal, plain cookies I had tonight as my cheat) and working out every day, an hour cardio most days, a couple of hours walking, weights and sometimes two yoga classes per day, so I know there's no way I gained fat, but still....not seeing the number go down and feeling like a beached whale is irritating. I've never gained this much during my period. Have any of you ever retained 5lbs on water weight while on your period?

krampus, I know when I've binged in the passed I've often lost the weight fairly easily because often the majority has been water weight from so much salt food, does this happen with you. Hang in there! I'm hoping to be meeting you in the 120's group real soon.

Ashley, congratulations! I'll pop in tomorrow and see if you have more happy news.

KimWin: I don't know about the others, but my diet is pretty strict right now. I'm also working out a lot and training for a half marathon in March so that helps.

bananapancakes, just popping in to say I'm in the same boat -- had been losing steadily, and just before TOM started gaining absurd amounts despite eating less and starting to work out. I think a combination of my pretty intense exercise scale-up and water bloat is to blame.

I tracked my weight this past week on the Feb chat thread. It climbed from 124 to 126 and is hovering at 125ish now -- but during the day climbed as high as 129-130. Instead of losing ~2lbs as I have the past two weeks, I've gained 2. It's discouraging, but important to remember we're still getting more fit and losing BFP even if the scale number is going up

ashley, yay!! So happy for you!! I just weighed myself when I woke up and I'm 131.2.... gah! So close. I'll probably step on the scale after my yoga class in an hour and see if I can get that 130.8. Not that weighing yourself right after exercise is accurate since it's mostly comprised of water loss, but it'll be such a motivation to continue to eat healthy throughout the day.

Kim, I hear ya. With me it's 10 lbs and I'm struggling every day! I have sooo much respect for people who have lost 30, 50, 100 lbs +.

krampus don't be discouraged!! I have been in that boat before. Drink LOTS of water and focus on fruits and veggies. For some reason (this is probably mental and has no scientific grounding at all) I feel like random blips like that due to a quick binge can sometimes be quickly reversed. Like bananapancakes said, a lot of it is not drinking enough water and eating salty snacks. A couple weeks ago I gained 5 lbs in ONE DAY (!?), going to bed at 137, only to wake up the next morning at my normal weight at that time of 132. Bodies are weird like that.

Good work all of you feathers, keep going!!

135, 136.4, 137.2, Never another number. I can basically eat whatever I want but around these numbers is all I get. I need to jump start this. Anyone have any ideas?

If for feather weights losing 2 pounds per week is unrealistic. I need 10 weeks to lose 10 pounds thats over two months!! That is a long time until I see results. I hope I can stick with it.

Club - I'm with you here! I always see EXACTLY the same numbers. 134.2, 134.4 and occasionally 133.6. So I have got rid of my scale for a week. I want to be out of the 130s by 14th March so that gives me 4 weeks to lose 4-5lbs. But I'm losing so slowly, I'm not sure it'll happen!

lackadaisy, you're right- I do remind myself from time to time about the fact that I'm becoming stronger and healthier, even if the scale isn't showing a loss. Today was better, 136.6......hopefully the rest of this water weight will be gone by tomorrow since my period is almost over, plus I'm going for a long run today and that usually helps.
