I've been avoiding 3FC because over christmas I went back up from around 136 to 140 in about five minutes! And for a then it didn't seem to want to budge no matter what I did. Then my eating over the last few days had been so terrible that I didn't weigh myself because I was scared to see the number jump up even more, I finally decided to get on the scales today and I've gone from being 140 last saturday to 134 today! I have NO idea how that happened. I'm not planning on keeping up what I'm doing now because I know I'll start gaining again because it's just a weird fluke but I'm really pleased, it's kind of kick started me again because this is the lowest I've been in ages so I really don't want to gain a single pound back.

That's amazing eryn s!!

When I left for my vacation and Xmas holidays I was at 135. I returned nearly a month later and didn't want to weigh because I was certain I must be back at 140 with all the food (especially carbs) I ate, and I was not exercising either. To my surprise I was the same weight!

So regarding my 129 goal, today I weighed a few times and at first it was 135.0 (happy) and then it would show 134.8 (more happy haha).

A Valentine's Day goal of 129.x would mean a pound a week, I can do that if I am very strict regarding my eating. Although I just saw the 134.8 this morning I updated my ticker to feel more pressure hehe.

Congrats to everybody losing, and good luck to anyone stuck! I AM NOW PROOF THAT PLATEAUS END! I moaned the other day about still being stuck at 130 forever and this morning?!?!?

129! FI. NAL. LY. I cannot believe it.

People, I have been at 130 since BEFORE CHRISTMAS! I've been really kicking my workouts into high gear the past two weeks, and it finally paid off. Thank heavens!!!!

V-Day goal is 125. Let's see if I can make it!!!

Congrats everyone for doing so well! I can't wait to get into the lower 130's and eventually the 120s!
I was around 138 at the start of the week. I had a couple of really bad days, not eating well and not hitting the gym... I went up to 139.8 yesterday (I was GUTTED!) but it must have just been water coz today I am down to 137 exactly! WOOP!

Congrats kat999, can't wait to be at 129!

Good you're back to 137 cat86, I freak out at 139! But 137 and under I feel 'slim'.

Anyway, I was 134.8 again this morning. I went to the gym, however I forgot to bring my postworkout yogurt and fruit, and also since it's Sunday buses run less frequently so I was starving by the time I got to the bus stop to go back home and the wait for the bus was 30 minutes, so I went to Costa (UK coffee shop) and had a cappuccino and a banana breakfast thing. I just checked the calorie count for the banana bread and it's 422 calories! So I made that my lunch.

My goal for the end of this week is 133.x .

I hate going into Costas! They always have such yummy looking cakes and it's so hard to resist and ask for just a skinny latte! There is one right outside my gym, i have to look in the other direction whenever I'm leaving

This month, ive lost about 6#.. if i can get six more ill hit my january goal. I am not sure how DOABLE that is since i have two weeks left in this month.... we will see though! i am NOT giving up yet! Maybe ill at least hit 132...

Congrats to all your ladies you guys are doing SUPER on your weight loss journey! Lets get out of the 130's!!!

Re: the calorie counts and coffee places, I am beside myself with sorrow that Panera has started putting calorie counts on the menu board. I go there at least twice a month, either just for coffee or for lunch, and ever since the calories went up I swear all I've been getting is black coffee and chicken noodle soup! LOL Ah, the days of having a guilt-free muffin or cookie are sadly over! TOO MUCH INFORMATION!

I did 40 mins of interval training yesterday and am down another 0.8lbs today! That takes me to 136.2. I think interval training is the way forward!

I'm currently at 138 -- down 5 pounds from two weeks ago! I doubt I'll be able to keep up this rate of weight loss, but if I can manage 1.5-2 pounds per week I'll be really really happy. I'm dying to fit into those skinny jeans again!

I also have a Costa right outside my gym!! For a couple of months that was hindering my weight loss: 90 minutes working hard in the gym, followed by a cappuccino and a 500 calorie pastry/cake/muffin (I didn't know how high calorie they were then!)

That is interesting about Panera, I think it would deter me most of the time, I would feel kind of ashamed haha unless it was a preplanned treat etc.


I was 134.6 this morning, happy about that, so I think I'm on schedule or my Valentine's Day goal of 129.x hehe. Goal for now is 133 this Saturday.

thanks cat86! Yes, apparently it was a one day thing, I was back at 134.8 yesterday and 134.6 this morning!!!


I did have one of those gigantic Starbucks choc chip cookies but it was after I weighed in at 135.6. I used to have an addiction to them and that's when I originally gained this weight. Then I didn't have a Starbucks near me for about two years, and I moved to Nottingham about 3 months ago, went to Starbucks (was meeting someone there) and was hungry so got a cookie. I could only finish half!! I was surprised and felt so proud about that hehe, but I'm now back to the whole cookie lol, gotta work on that.

I love the starbucks choc chip shortbread...mmmmm.
Down to 135 exactly today after being stuck at 136.2 for 4 days! Although I'm panicing slightly cos I'm off to Liverpool today to play with Echo and the Bunnymen and I know it's going to be so hard to stay on plan and resist the free booze. And I wont be able to go to a gym. Its only til Sunday, but I dont want my weight to go back up again! If I can resist the beer then maybe I'll be ok...
