    I've been having a pretty good week foodwise, but I've been up about .6 lb due to TOM. (Gee, we all seem to have that right now huh?).

    Happy to still be at 139.2 even with that. I have definately said good bye to the 140's forever.

    I've also been pretty dizzy that last 3 days...I am not sure if I need to eat more, or if this is unrelated and I have some sort of virus. If I am going too low in my calories I would think I would have seen the scale move. Hmmm...I am aiming to be between 1200-1500 calories, which seems reasonable to me.
  • Wildflower- I'd think that amount of calories would be fine, personally. I guess it depends on your activity level really. I consume around that amount and I'm really active, but as you know, each body varies. Do you feel hungry as well as dizzy?

    Well I'm VERY happy to report that today I was down to 132.6! PHEW!!!
  • Hi all, I'm new to this section. I had gotten down to about 125 and was happy there, but then hectic schedule caused me to gain again. So, I've decided to come back to 3FC- the one place that I can always find the support and motivation I need.
  • BananaPancakes - Wait to go on the loss! That's great! I guess the strange weight gain must have been TOM after all??

    Wildflower: Dizzy?? That's no good. Maybe it's low blood sugar? I get that often after working for several houses without eating. I usually turn to fruit when I get that way.

    Blackbeltchica19: Welcome back! I just came back after about an 8 month break (and a 12 pound gain!) because I also find 3FC to be very motivating and there is always awesome support with out catty-ness. Good luck with your weight loss goals!

    maenad, thanks! I guess it was t.o.m, but what's odd is that I was at 133.6 then all the way up to 140 and while I've got back down and I'm pleased I still didn't really lose anything over all that time during my period that I was working out hard, but I won't complain much- any loss is better than a gain. Today I'm at 132.6 still, even although I worked out really hard yesterday (walked for two hours on a trail, ran 4 miles in 30 mins, did 10 mins of the stairmaster and then swam for half an hour), but I don't think I ate enough calories- oops. Will aim higher today. I remember when I was heavier and I would lose 3 lbs in a week and I'd think that wasn't enough, ha! If only it were that easy now- you guys aren't kidding when you say the last 10lbs is the hardest!
  • Hey guys, just thought I'd check in as it's been a while! Last time I checked, I was 132.2. Im going to weigh tomorrow and let you know how it goes! I ran 10K today so I'm hoping that'll help the scale a bit...

  • Well today I was somehow back up to 134.4.
  • I'm back. I got out of the 130s all right -- right back up to 144. But this morning's scale confirms I've just squeaked back into the 130s -- at 139.8. I'll take it. I purchased the BodyMedia FIT armband on Jan 20th and have lost 4.2 lbs since then, despite having been laid up with bad cold which turned into pneumonia. It's snowing this morning, thwarting my plans to go out for a nice long walk combined with very short run. But spring is coming and I can't wait to get out and go gangbusters and get out of the 130s once and for all.

    I had a major bottoming out over the holidays, eating whole boxes of chocolates every day, but at least it made me come to terms with my sugar addiction. Bottom line: can't have it. One morsel and I'm back under its control. It feels wonderful to have left it behind. It really takes my mind off food. 90% of the time I only eat when hungry and even when I do have a mini-binge, like 3 slices of bread one day last week, I'm not feeling like I've slipped into some abyss, like I felt when I had that sugar craving going. Looking forward to reading all of your posts!!

    Wow, you've gone from 170 to the 120s since the summer!? Great work! What has worked best for you? I was in the 120s before I had my second son, and back to the low 130s before my third...after getting from 175 to 150 after the thrid, i haven't made it back to those 130s/120s...but working on it now.
  • Wow all of you guys are doing GREAT! Bananapancakes I can't believe how much exercise you got (trail, stairmaster, etc). Wow!

    I just got back from a weekend vacation where I got to both eat a lot but also walk a lot. Did a quick check tonight and I was 132.8 with all clothes on- not bad. Will be weighing tomorrow morning before eating anything. Hopefully will be still at 130.8 or very close by. Fingers crossed
  • indiblue- I'm a very active person, I think that' part of my problem too though......I don't think I'm getting enough calories for my activity level. The scale is at 133.4 today, even although yesterday I ate more healthy cals. At this point I'm just so frustrated that I'm not in the 120's like I feel I should be, so I might take a leaf out of cats book and banish the scale for a week or so. I'm in the process of training for a 1/2 marathon and I've heard from people who had trained for longer races that they didn't lose weight during training, they gained because they were eating much more, but I know I haven't been eating that much, I know this for sure- I'm very strict on what I eat.....maybe that too is the issue. Anyway, I have a 10.5 mile run this afternoon, I will weigh tomorrow morning and if it's not down I'm putting the scale away for a while.
  • URG back up a pound to 131.8 after a 3-day vacation. My own fault. Pushing on back towards 129 today...
  • False alarm. Just re-weighed myself and I'm 131.0- just up .2 pounds since before the vacation. Oh scales, why do you toy with me like this!?!?
  • I'm completely STUCK at 132.2. It hasnt even budged by a .1 of a pound. Not since last Tuesday. WHY? So disheartening. But I will power on. 129 by March 9th!!
