LOL

Hi all

I am so far off the wagon. And I am having a hard time getting back on. Since Thanksgiving, it's been rough. I did well Thanksgiving day but then lost it. And not on the usual stuff either. I think I am masking what I really want (my downfall, chips) and shoving EVERYTHING else in my mouth to try to get rid of the one craving. When it would have been better to just eat the d@mn chips at this point!

Anyway, I started logging again yesterday. I do my weigh in and start my week on Saturday. And I will go to the gym tomorrow night as well. There is a gym right downstairs and I am going to start using it. It's not too late to lose some of this weight, even if it's not my challenge goal -- but that's why they call it a challenge I suppose.

Could use some hugs and support!

Hi ladies, Oh my gosh I am so sore from that taebo tape. Thank god I did not do it again last night. My upper body is feeling it big time. That is all good though. I got my work out in this morning. 60 min. I ran a mile and walked for the rest than I did the eliptcor with the arm thing. ouch. but I survived. I may not be losing but I have decided that I am happy that I am working out again. I just feel better when I do. I have an awesome califlower soup recipoe I need to find for you all. You puree it with carrots and it is great. You would not even know it was calif. 1 pt too.My kids love it. I jwill dig it up. Good luck today girls, drink the water and stay focused.

djmommy recipe sounds great. great job on the workout . you know you may not show a loss on the scale but, also watch the change in your clothing i have definitely lost some inches since starting to workout so much more. your doing so great.

Jenn glad to see you here. baked chips are great for those cravings for chips. they taste really good i actually like baked doritos more than the regular type.

you are all doing great I'm so glad we have one another for support.

See it ticks me off though. Those baked chips ARE good! But at $4.00 a bag versus $.99 for a bag of regular....I am having a hard time with saving for a wedding and making ends meet.

I just wish the good for you stuff was cheaper for you as well!

I need to come up with yet another plan on how to get good food in me when I am broke. If I want to make it to around 175 by the wedding, I need to get back on track, in all aspects!

Thanks ladies...

Good Morning girls!! Nice to see some new faces.

Jennie107....Hang in there!! Been there, done that! I would take it in small baby steps. Get one good OP meal under your belt and build from there until you have a full day OP. I would seriously get rid of those chips. Besides, who can have just one serving? That sounds like its a trigger for you, if you need that crunchy feeling, what about baby carrots in ff dip? Or read a book, but whatever....keep those fingers busy!!!

ogibson....Great job on getting in your workout!! Have we met before? If not, nice to meet you.

cryket.....Nice to meet you too!! If you've been a ww member before, you can give us lots of tips and great recipies!!! Are you doing the meetings or just at home? Great job on the weight loss!!

djmommy....your cauliflower soup sounds like my curried carrot soup!! Just perfect for a cold snowy day!! ouch...your workout sounds like it was the bomb!!! good job.

I just got back from the gym. I did my usual,... turn on the treadmill, got my music on and started reading a magazine. Before I knew it, I had run 3 miles!!!! HOLY COW!!! I feel so PUMPED That was in addition to Jillians workout before, so woohoo!!! There is no way next weighin I'm going to be the same yoyo weight!!!

Anyone I missed?....Hope you're staying warm and having a great workout!! Stay OP!!!

Instead of chips. What about popcorn, it gives you the salty taste and a little crunch, plus its more bang for your point!!!

Welcome to our new comers!

Im feeling kind of down today. I jumped on the scale this morning and im up 2lbs. I dont get why. I have stayed in my points. I have been drinking 64oz + a day and i've been exercising. I just feel so discouraged right now. I had some cereal for breakfast and I decided to stick with popcorn and water for lunch instead of hitting fast food on my lunch break. I just dont get what's going on with my body. I wanted to lose 3lbs this week and im up 2.

Maybe TOM is coming soon. I dont know!!!!! HELP!

jenne I agree popcorn is good i get the mini bags of 94% fat free and its only 2 pts a bag and so wonderful which is right its a great alternative to chips and not very expensive. some things are very expensive when your on a budget and trying to eat healthy it does amaze me how its chepaer to eat junk than it is to eat healthy atleast thats how the grocery stores are around here. so i really feeel for you there. i am a stay at home mom we have an almost 21 month old now and dh is in the military and lets just say his pay is crap and i'll leave it at that but, we have no family here and if i work for what they pay here everything would go right back out in daycare not ot mention the fact he would be stuck there 50 hours a week so the idea of someone else raising my child and paying them to do it while i work a crap job wasnt going to work for us so we are single family income and months do get tight. i'll try and help you figure out some good cost effective meal planning.
