Angie-It's 70 degrees and sunny here..this weather is just crazy! We go to my parents house in Nashville, Tn and stay there for Christmas Eve and then on to my grandparents Christmas Day and then on to DH's parents in Alabama...it will be a long trip. We eat snacky stuff on Christmas Eve and then do the whole Turkey Dinner thing over on Christmas Day. This year should be fun b/c DD is 2 1/2 now and is really getting in to the spirit!

Molly-Glad to see you girl!! Welcome to the challenge..you can do it!

Anna-I bet if you have a good week you will see a good loss next week! Probably a lot of water retention too!

Speaking of water retention..I have been so bad on my water the past few days..that is my goal today 100 oz...gotta get it down!!

Wow I blew it big time. It is soso hard to follow a diet at someone elses house. I did get a great workout in though today. I made up for all those cal I ate. I have been good today though. I think my sis has that recipe for choc fudge. I will ask her this week. She is out of town for a few days. I just had my oatmeal a fourth of a cup mixed with .nf yogurt and a peach cut up and nuked. Yummy. my favorite new recipe so far. The Dannon yogurt no carb is only one point. Can not beat it. Any way I need to stay focused. Congratulations to all of you who did well at turkey day. Way to go.

I get so motivated reading all of your posts. I too had a little struggle with Thanksgiving day but with the rest of the week I was so good found I was down 1 lb since today is weigh in day. I start over on points and I started reading and went and got my bottle of water reading that some of you were going to drink your water. I have started watching exercise videos and working out and walk when I can because you have said you are exercising. Some of you have said you blew it this week but all I can say is start right now. Don't look back because that's how we slip back into old habits by telling ourselves "Oh I messed up, I can't do it" We have to change our thoughts and say "Look what I have done so far. I can do it. Keep it up." I have a little problem in that my husband isn't real supportive. He tries to get me to eat things I shouldn't or makes comments when we are going out about my points. I have to not make a big deal about it and just quietly order what I know I should and decline the deserts he ask me if want since he knows I am a chocolate lover. Keep posting and encouraging us to keep it up. I updated my Christmas challenge as I was trying to be too safe and I needed to really challenge myself. Thanks for your words ladys.

Hey girls....Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. Food for me today has been anything soft with little chewing. I went to the dentist today and after 1 hr 45 min.....I'm the proud new owner of a new crown (well the temporary one anyway) LOL....I have this constant throbbing......but I'm OP for the day.

Akiss.....yum yum Lamb!!! I can't say I've ever cooked a leg of lamb before, but I often make rack of lamb for dh. Its his fave being British and all.

I would love the 2 pt fudge recipie if you ever come across it. I saw on Oprah the other day, Rachel Ray did her version of a 5 minute one involving chipits and sweet and condensed milk. Right there...that would kill it!!!

Me too! I have them putting in 2 crowns on Jan 10th. They prepped the back right bottom one today to replace a filling and the one next to it last Monday to replace one that was crowned 35 years ago when I was 15. I know what you mean the one today hurt more since it still has the nerve. The one from last week had already had a root canal. I had WW Taco Salad with 1 chip-too crunchie. I took 2 Ibrophen and it helped. The dental assistant said everyone is trying to get their work done before the end of the year. I have stayed in my points easily today since I haven't had a desire to eat much but will eat at least my 22 to keep up my goal for the Christmas Challenge.

Smile Let's me try this one more time

Hello Ladies,

Most of you are already familiar with me. Well I have been really embarrassed to post because I only lost two pounds on the turkey day challenge which I started. I am sooooo bummmmed about that, but anyway today is a new day. At least I didn't gain. I think I am going to re-enroll in the meeting because they really help me. But anyway I am going to join this challenge with the hopes of staying on track. And I am not trying to make excuses, but losing weight has been the toughest struggle that I have had to deal with. I know that you all are a great support system, but I just don't know what is wrong. My eating habits still suck but I have been trying to exercise. And I did get a new scale. So it is on now.

OK that is enough of me rambling.

My Christmas Challenge Goals Are:
1. Drink 64oz water daily
2. Do 30 minutes of cardio 3x week
3. Stick to flex plan (and I mean it this time)
4. lose 5 pounds by christmas (I don't want to feel overwhelmed)

Checking in, sorry I missed yesterday. I'm doing good, yesterday at dd's soccer awards banquet I had two pieces of pizza, but I had planned to and I kept with in my points/calories for the day. My workout is finished for the day, I've already had 24 oz. of water and now I'm off to the shower and then to get kids up and ready for school.

I may have set my Christmas goal a little to low to be realistic, so I'm thinking about revising it. I'm not sure yet?

Angie-Awesome job on the loss...girl you are doing so good...you are going to be at goal before you know it. You are so right about WW...I don't have to give up the things I love for good...this is what life is about.

Miss McCoy-So glad to see you over here...don't be embarressed...I only lost 8.4 of my 12 on the Thanksgiving Day Challenge...but we are here right? You can do it...we believe in you!!

DJsmommy-Great job getting back OP...holidays are so tough when you are at someone else's home.

Angeleyes-I just had a root canal last Wed. and am waiting on my crown..doesn't sound too fun..great!!

Healthygoals-Sounds like you are doing great! Keep it up!

Michelle-Great job in getting your exercise in early..my trainer says thats the best time to do it!

Had a good OP day yesterday myself..I have to WI on Thursday instead of Sat. this week so I am afraid I won't lose..oh well that is ok..I know I am working the plan so no worries!! I have officially dropped a size and it feels so good!! Now if I can get into those 14's wouldn't that be great!
