djmommy I was from west carrollton ohio most people call the area dayton but, i lived in the suburb really miss home you live bout an hour north of where i grew up. miss the snow for christmas wish we could get snow here sometimes you may see a flurry but, it never sticks around my lil one will never really see snow until we go home to ohio unless we get stationed somewhere else in the next 9 years which could happen. yeah the snow in ohio i'm sure is alot different than what you are used to have the time the predictions never come true i dont know we have had some big snows there but not to hateful i worked 3 rd shift one year and had to drive home in it was awful cried the entire way home had to get pushed out 2 times that i got stuck the snow plow buried my car in the parking lot at work so I had to kick my car out that was fun. here the big thing is ice the year i was pg and on bed rest we lost the power for a week due to the ice storm and last year we lost it one day. ugggh i do miss it though the snow i mean

great job on working out my lil one likes to watch me do my watp video he has started marching in place its so funny .

Hi Huntersmommy.....speaking about Santa. On Saturday we went to breakfast with Santa and my 8 yo said..."he's not the real santa you know?" and I thought...hmm,where is he going with this, so I said."yes, I know. Do you honestly believe that Santa would be sitting here relaxing, with so much work to be done? He's got to oversea all the toys, all the elves....of course that's not the real santa....he's a look-a-like Santa." Ds looked at me and said...' I knew it!' phew....diverted that one!!! I would like him to believe just a little bit longer!!!

I just got back from the dentist and needed 3 needles to numb my tooth area. Well....she hit a nerve and boy...it gave me an electrical shock feeling....not once but she hit it twice!!! OMG...it really freaked me out...I was shaking, and the tears were streaming down the sides of my face. Glad THATS over!!!

The cheesy veggie soup is sooooo easy. Gotta a pen?
5 Cups chicken stock (I buy the powder low sodium stock and mix with water)
2 lbs of any frozen veggies
4 oz cubed velveeta light cheese.
1/2 tsp of minced garlic
* You can also add a can of drained diced tomatoes*there is no wrong way to make this....

Bring the chicken stock, garlic and veggies to a boil and cook for 5-10 minutes. Let cool down a bit and then added the cubed cheese. Stir until cheese is melted. Makes 10 servings for 1 pt each. YUM YUM

thanks for the recipe.. good job mom on explaining santa have the fun of thist time is seeing the joy on your lil ones face i know this year is going to be so exciting for our lil guy he was only 9 months old last year. kids are so so smart sometimes to smart for our good. lol..

my dh told me when he was growing up something was on tv and adam went to his mom and dad and said guys I hate to tell ya this but, theres no such thing as santa I guess they laughed and told him he was right.

well this morning I did 15 minutes of my watp high calorie 2 mile walk which worked out to the first mile of it well thats when i stopped when she said we had done a mile had to get my lil guy out of the high chair and into the tub

so hes napping i just got done doing the entire video of watp 2 mile 30 minutes and then the firm up fast 30 minutes and i have added 2lbs weights to both workouts hopefully by summer when i wave my arms wont still be waving long after i have stopped.

so i have gotten in an hour and 15 minutes in workout time today hoping to get something in later before going to bed. i was so sick yesterday think i'm getting a cold i coudlnt breathe i felt just awful soon as my lil guy fell asleep i was out like a light. so i need to work in 2 extra workouts this week well atleast an extra hour so if i add on here and there i like to atleast get an hour or abetter a day i'll be back on track with my workout schedule. feel much better today still congested and cant taste anything which is good makes me not want to eat i still do i just dont enjoy it as much.

well i'm off to get some stuff done arund the house i'm boxing up all the clothes that are to big and sending them to my mom in ohio she is going to try on what she can out of the stuff i send her and keep what she wants and then distribute the rest between my 2 sil all of the women in my family struggle with weight issues well other than my moms sister and her 2 daughters and my grannie . ugggh which is where the harrassment comes from about weight in my family ..

alright i'm off. everyone have a great day

i'm going to try and go get stuff tonight to make tht soup it just sounds so good especially on cold days like this

and all i can say about her hitting your nerve 2 times is ouchhhhh!! that electrical shock feeling really hurts and is a bit scarey of a feeling. hope you are feeling better soon.

Hey all I had a great day today. I'm not sure why, but I'm in the best mood. I came home early after work, and did my workout. Now I'm just enjoying my alone time with my coffee!

On the subject of Santa, perhaps it's because my children have been involved in theater for so long, but they enjoy the whole "make-believe" aspect of Santa. Santa being real or not real isn't an issue, it's the fun of pretending like he is that we all enjoy.

Betty- Congratulations on your 3lb loss!

It is so great to see everyone moving towards their goals!

Great Job betty!

Angie, I hope you are feeling ok.

Hey do you think instead of the veggies to just use broccoli. Do you think it would make a good cheese broccoli soup?

I did very well today. Still drinking my water

Hey ladies!! Sorry I have been MIA for the past few days...so much has been going on. I have been totally off plan since Sat. and I feel like crap. I was up +.6 at WI on Friday, then had a wedding to go to including the rehearsal dinner over the weekend. Then my parents came in to town for the first time and we ate out every meal so they could try some fine Louisiana Cuisine...which I felt the need to partake in. Tomorrow though I will be right on track. I hate not being OP and feel like crap.
Congrats to all you losers out there..there are so many of you! I am so proud of you guys! I did get in a workout in today so that was a little tiny bit good...anyway...like I said...sorry I have been MIA.

You guys are all doing so well...KEEP IT UP!!

Hey girls...just a quickie before I head to bed.

Akiss....the cheese part of the soup is very disolved. Its a big chunk of cheese but its quite liquid-y because of the 5 cups of chicken stock. NOT at all thick. I usually buy 2 bags of frozen veggies, you know a nice mix...my fave is asperagus, green beans, carrots and zuccinni. But you could only do broccoli.

If you like a nice thick hearty soup....I have another great one...from ww's.....curried carrot soup. LOVE THAT ONE TOO!!!
5 Cups chicken stock (I use stock powder with no sodium and water)
2 pounds of carrots, cut up into chunks
1/2 tsp curry.
Bring everything to a boil for 15-20 minutes.Let cool. Using your blender, ladle broth and carrots into the blender and puree a bit at a time until all is done. Thats it!! 1 pt per cup.

LIbbysmom.....Glad you had a good time on the weekend, but now its like you said....back to OP!!! Good job on the workout.

I'm looking forward to my workout tommorow, today was rest day and well deserved (TOM and the dreaded dentist!) hehe...tommorow will be a piece of cake!! ooops, sorry!!
