Wow, girl! I remember when you were stuck at 9 lbs and were sooo bummed! I knew you could do it! I weighed in this past Saturday and was up 3 lbs. First gain ever! I let it all out over Thanksgiving and then my b-day!! Lots of bad food and alcohol!! I'm glad I had a gain b/c now I'm 100% back on plan. I've had a little headache today and cravings aren't fun but I know I'll be glad on Saturday when I weigh in again. I was at 27 lbs lost and sooo close to the 30 lb board.....I'm too close now to turn back. Gotta keep it all in check Good luck and thanks for inspiring me!

LaRee, I think your snowman and the snow icon is working quite well for Nebraska right now. Did you predict this?

Default 60 pound board!!

Yippee! I finally signed the 60 pound board and got a new 'rock'! This will be the last board I sign, as losing 70 pounds is not something I could maintain...even if I could get there. I'd really like to get down to and maintain 135, but we'll see how the rest of stabilization and maintenance go. Best wishes to all for a great week!

Follow the program and stick with it, and you'll get there, too! When I started I never imagined I'd 'really' make it. I figured I lose some weight, but I was pretty pessimistic about actually getting to this point. I'm stilling learning to recognize my weaknesses and manage them (do NOT buy a large bag of Baked Lays or any large packages of tempting foods...I can nibble my way through them faster than I thought!). And keeping exercise in my routine is a must. But that was the key to this whole thing...lose the weight but learn how to keep it off. I'm certainly still making plenty of mistakes (or actually poor choices, not really mistakes), but I'm also learning how to deal with those when they happen without falling off the wagon.

You can do it!

I wish it were a rock for my finger! But it's the small rock my center gives for each 10 pounds lost. It has the number of pounds written on it. They started doing this when I was well into my program, so I only have rocks for 50 and 60 pounds. I like to keep them on my desk as a small reminder of how far I've come and how much I don't want to go back! They're like the rocks you see in the bottom of flower arrangements. My 60 pound rock is shaped like a star...very cute!

Succeed09....well for 60 pound loss, you need a boulder!!!! (and a diamond too)

I was just reading my contract, which expired yesterday!!! I will be going in Thursday to WI and see what they do with me, since I'm not at goal. I shouldn't even bring it to their attention, but right now they are offering a special for new and current members if they sign before the 19th, so I am very curious to what the special is. I know I need them as much as they need me...LOL. I did read in the contract that you have to purchase your HNS's through MRC or your contract is void. Interesting!!! I don't think I will mention my purchase of DietDirect, which btw is being shipped today (if the snow doesn't delay it) I suppose, since they keep track of what you order, maybe from time to time you will have to break down and make a purchase from them too. Too bad they just won't reduce their prices, or offer the same kind of specials....

I'm on day 2 of pre-conditioning for MRC and I'm so excited to have the results you all have! I was hesitant to start the plan during the holidays but I hope it will mean I have more willpower to avoid overindulging! I'm already thinking about what I can eat on the big day without totally blowing it. I am new to this site but I'll keep visiting for inspiration! I can't wait till my first WI and measure. I go in tomorrow to check in with them and Friday is my Intro class.

kaliyat- I just started MRC too. I am on Day 3 of preconditioning. I am worried about the holidays too but I decided to start now and not put it off any longer. I have a 7 day cruise in January that I am worried about too. Not sure how it will work but I hope I can stay OP. How are you doing so far? I have struggled trying to make a meal. Well, good luck and hope to hear from you again.

I need to read my contract too. I worry when I go to WI and I "confess" that I had a cheat or 2, that they will cancel my contract or charge me more. Do you know if "cheating" is held against us?
