Great! I can't wait to see you! I've been doing quite well. No major issues at all. I didn't really do a "last hurrah" over the weekend but I did have some cake I made for my father-in-law. I stayed pretty close to the pre-conditioning plan all weekend and then officially stuck to it on Monday. I wrote my letter and read all the stuff you gave me. I think I'm hooked! I am so excited about this journey and keep imagining what life will be like 65 pounds lighter! I'll be in around 6 tonight!

Can't wait to see you too, I was so excited that you joined. I'm assuming your husband was excited for you too?! Good job that you stuck with it for the most part over the weekend and then kicked it into high gear on Monday. Start a list of all the things you are looking forward to when you lose your weight because that will keep you focused and keep your priorities straight when things get a little tough for you. Just add to it as you think of something. I'm so glad you wrote the letter; it's powerful, isn't it?! YES!!! You're hooked! Congratulations! You are on your way sister! Life is going to be amazing, and I am happy to share in this journey with you. I'll see you tonight then!!!!

I joined Labor Day weekend and when I think back on it, I picked the hardest time of the year to diet.....weekend festivals....halloween....thanksgiving....christma s.....new year's...wow
But nonetheless, I am glad because once I make it through the holidays, it should be "hard core" dieting and exercising for the months of Jan & Feb. At least the rest of the world will be with me
Exactly...it just voids the guarantee. I think that if you follow their program to a "t" and don't get to your goal in time (and have followed the rules of the contract the entire time) then they will keep you on program without additional charges. But being only human, most people have slip ups at some point throughout their program. That's how they get ya...LOL. You have to just re-enroll for more weeks. Don't stress too much about the contract. Your weight will come off if you follow program, and the minor slips ups along the way are just part of being human. Especially around the holidays!

Hello everyone....been snowed in for the last couple of days and climbing the walls....I am so ready to go back to work. Our center has been closed these last two days, so I called them today asking about the specials they are offering current members. They said they are doing some supplement deals, and also 17 weeks at $79 and 24 weeks at $99...so I guess my contract ran out just in time. This special is being offered through the beginning of the year. So I wanted to give you heads up to check with your centers to see if this special is for all centers. Which I'm sure it is.

Have a healthy weight loss to end the week.

FL- What center do you go to? I think my center (120th & Blondo, Omaha) was doing 10 weeks at $80...I will have to ask again.

Thanks for the input. I have wondered if they could "kick me out". But I guess they want the money. I am only human and very weak..... Today we had a pitch in with all kinds of goodies and I tried to resist, but when your eating your apple/celery salad and there's a cheese ball, chocolate covered pretzels, etc. etc. sitting right in front of you, well you can guess the rest........

Isn't it odd that the centers do different specials???? My MRC center's special is 10 wks at $79 and 17 wks at $99. Hmmmm I elected the 10 wks because I am not going to make my goal by January. But I thought if I took the 17 weeks, I would not get "down and dirty" with my diet after the holidays.

I would really like to have 2 creamy HNS a day. Can I just use 1/2 of the power in the morning and use the rest in the evening. Is that wrong?

The Lincoln center is the one that told me about the special. I know the ad said you had to sign up by the 19th I believe, but she said it was good for till the first of the year. These are the same prices that got me to join in the first place, I thought I'd do the 17 week, and then sign up for another 17 or possibly the 24 now that it is only 20 $$ more.

I would say as long as you had another 1/2 of clear at the same time. You need one full HNS at each meal if you are doing 3 a day. At least that's what I think....but then I could be wrong.

I'm in Greeley so we're pretty far away from each other! Have a great visit with the people at the center!

Wow, "kick you out".... pretty strong feelings there. Remember this is your program so the decisions you make are really only going to impact you in the long run. It almost sounds like you have an adult/child relationship with your center. Like instead of being on the same team and working through your struggles together, you are just expecting to get in trouble or are awaiting your consequences for your decisions. Is this the case? Is it possible to reframe your relationship with your center so that you can think of them as trying to assist you in getting to your end goal? I would also offer this up to you; make a list of the reasons you walked through those doors in the beginning.... make a list of why you want to lose weight.... what are your priorities for losing the weight? What's your desperation? Then the next time those foods are in front of you, pull out that list and ask yourself "is xxx something I want more than xxx" For instance, for me it was "is that piece of cake more important than wearing my wedding ring again" "is that piece of candy more important than riding a bike with my son"? These were priorities for me.... not the food. And when I had these priorities straight, I didn't feel any need to eat off plan.

Ok, just some ideas. Hope I didn't push too much.
