    You are so very close...I bet you can do it by next week. Stick with it. BTW, is that a picture of your cat? He looks like he/she should go on MRC...lol.

    Go for one of each. Puts the 42's in the closet and don't even look at them for a few weeks. After that pull them out and try them on...you will be amazed when they fit!

    Had my WI today, down 3.5, dont you hate it when the center is over crowded? i had to wait for 45 minutes :/

    I have not been on 3FC's for 20 days yet.
    This is my current message: "In an effort to help curb a recent problem with forum spam, new members will not be able to use the Signature option right away. This will take at least 20 days to appear in your UserCP, and you must also meet the minimum post requirement."
    On December 7th - Monday, I should be able to post private messages and pick my TICKER!! Does anyone know the minimum post requirement?

MRC menus are great on protein en low on carb, but just like protein is the good stuff, Fiber is the other good stuff that our body can never have too much off. Evrey person should be having 30 to 35 grams of fiber a day, and in reality we all average close to 7 to 9.

    I dump the benefiber in my HNS and drink it. In addition to this i am also having Fiberone 50 calories 3 times a day, usually with my snacks and one after my evening meal. This way i know i am getting atleast 30 grams of fiber in. The thing with fiber is, it does nothing else then binding with water in your body and then gather all the 'bad' stuff and make it flush out. Basically if you dont take care of the fiber and are feeding your body very low carbs, it gets clogged, Fiber is the KEY, which MRC is missing from its program.
    Forgot to mention, with my daily fruit serving i try to go for a high fiber fruit like apple, rasberries or any of the other berries as well.


    I tried having this conversation with my MRC center and they just looked at me cross eyed. So i didnt tell them and started adding fiber to my menu myself and you know what it works.

    I highly recommend it!

  • Wow, what a crazy second half of the week! We are definitely in December, that's for sure!
    Couple small victories:
    *Friday WI: down 1.5 - WhoooHoo!
    *Staff Holiday party last night = domination!!
    So many opportunities to cheat and I didn't. I kept my bottle of water with me all night and took extra sips when I passed by the dessert table. I also remembered that I had a skirt on that did not fit me a couple weeks ago, which felt better than any dessert!
    *Research Paper for my master's class = OUch - little sleep, lots of stress, and caught a gnarly cold.
    Struggling with that right now - ughh! Does 3FC's have a thread for that??? Almost done & drinking lots of hot tea (instead of popcorn, pizza, and whatever else I use to stuff). The paper and presentation are due on Monday so I have to stay organized and strong! I can do it, I can do it, I can ....
    *Haircut - "trim" - my beautician (??) is the first person (besides my husband) to notice that I lost some weight !! We talked further and then found out that we both go to MRC!! So then the lingo came out...HSN's, creamies, vitamins,etc.. I told her about dietdirect.com and she was SOOO thankful because she has 3 people in her family doing MRC. She is in maintenance and has been able to keep it all off for over a year. She loves it!!
    Keep posting EVERYONE, it sure is motivating!! BEST WISHES for a great weekend of staying OP!!

    That's funny about your beautician - sure is a small world! Kinda neat to know someone personally on maintenance and that she is maintaining! Makes is seem all the more possible and real. Keep up the good work!
  • I was so excited this week. Not many people know what I am doing MRC except for family and a couple of friends. I was in the principal's office at my school, yes I 'm a teacher, not in trouble, and my boss noted that I had lost weight. 1st person to do that. GREAT feeling!
  • I just signed up today. 17 weeks at 20% off. I will be preconditioning until next Saturday. They were not pushy about supplements at all which I was thankful for. They told me I had to have flax/fish oil and a multivitamin and could buy them there or from anywhere I wanted. Any advice would be appreciated. I was just told to start drinking water, eliminate caffeine and to cut back on what I normally would eat. I have been reading these posts and everyone is so helpful. I am going to learn a lot. Good luck to everyone.

    Sat. mornings seem to be the worst but often times that works the best for me. I spend the time waiting looking at the pics and reading a book. It is also fun to get into dicsussions about the likes and dislikes of the different HSN's. Seems to be a topic that comes up a lot. Everyone has a favorite. Mine is grape. I also noticed it has 10 calories more than the other flavors, I bet that is why
  • Good evening I hope everyone had a good week, I want to vent about temptation. It is so much a part of our lives, this week everytime I've turned on the tv there has been this commercial about Pizza Hut and how you can get any size with any amount of toppings for $10. My husband has literally started changing the channel because he sees my struggle.
    Our minds have kept us hostage for so long with this food thing. The Marketing strategies are overwelming.
    We have a special this month that if we lose 8lbs by January we get a free month and boy that challenge is getting harder by the day. The posts are enlightening and encouraging and I'm pressing on what about you?

    I weighed in today and was down 2 lbs...most weight I've lost in a few weeks since I've gotten closer to goal!!!! Half a pound to go and hoping to sign the 40 lb board next week!

    Yes, that's my big cat Prissy! Actually, they say the camera adds 10 pounds. That's what I tell her anyway so that she doesn't feel bad about herself. LOL

    I know exactly what you mean about the commercials. I hate them too. Every other one is Braums ice cream, Dairy Cream's ice cream cakes, McDonald's Big Mac and fries and the list goes on and on and on...... and have you noticed it's always skinny people eating that stuff on those commercials? LOL.That's why America has weight issues. Every where we turn food is being shoved in our faces.
