Haha, I was the same way for weeks after I got mine! 3 or 4 months in, I've calmed down a little bit with it... I'm down to plugging it in only once a day, instead of 5 or 6 times a day!

And tonight I even went swimming for exercise, even though I had to take the armband off... I've been avoiding exercise that can't be measured with the GWF.

It was tough seeing that little gap in the chart from the swimming... sigh.
But yeah, it's just as much a part of my daily routine now as it was 3 months ago, though I forget it's there most of the time. Now that the weather's getting warmer, I've discovered that the little sleeves on the girlie t-shirts I wear are enough to cover it if I move it way up on my arm, and in all this time only one person's asked about it (and he was super jealous!).
The last time I seriously tried to lose weight, I'd long since quit by this point. I can feel myself wanting to repeat the same patterns that made me give up last time... eating a little more, exercising a little less... but I haven't stopped tracking my food or wearing the armband, and there's just no way to fool myself when I have these numbers in front of me every day. Didn't lose as much as I wanted this week? Well yeah, that's because I only had a 3,000 calorie deficit instead of 7,000. Before I would have shrugged it off as a water thing, and ignored the fact that I was slacking off.
Anyhow, congrats! Hope you like yours as much as I've liked mine.
