Hi all! My boyfriend got me a BodyBugg as an early birthday present and I've been in love with it every day since I started wearing it November 4th! I'm real glad I found this thread because non-users just don't seem to understand

I have to agree with you about non using understanding. Someone at work saw it on my arm and when I explained it she just gave me a look like I was crazy.

THe body bugg helped me to finally get over my platue( sp?) just in time for my cruise

I am going to miss my bodybugg while I am on vacation for 9 days.

Haha I get that all the time with my GWF. The first time I wore it to church I was the talk after the service, everyone knows whats been going on for me so they assumed it was for health reasons and they were interested in what it did and everything.

However out in town complete strangers will ask me what it is, and then when I explain it they tell me its crazy, or I should have just got a pedometer, or you need to try such and such diet instead I heard you can loose 50lbs in a week, blah blah blah.

The worst one I got after explaining it to a lady I had never met, the day after I got it she looks me up and down and stares me in the face and said "It was an obvious waste of money, its not working"

Please, tell me you're joking!! Someone actually had the nerve to say that! OMG, I would have smacked her! That is so unbelievably rude!

I agree! Yikes!
No one has asked me about it yet, but I haven't really made sure it was completely visable with a tank top or anything either.

I haven't hid it at all but honestly very few people have asked about it. The ones who do have thought it was really cool and have even had a few people start researching and want to buy one.

Really does amaze me that anyone would think that kind of comment is ok!

I've had quite a few ask me about it ... and a small handful of family & friends have gone out and gotten them because I don't seem to be able to shut up about it!

And I want to hunt down the woman who said that and slap her on behalf of all of us! Peoples' stupidity really astounds me sometimes.

Holycrap.... I can't believe people sometimes. What a small minded person.

I haven't been asked about mine but you can't really see it under my t-shirts and I don't get out that often.

So what exercise is everyone doing to bump up their deficit? I've just been walking (at a fairly fast clip) trying to get ready to start running again.

I wish I was but I am not. It was very disheartening for me, and my husband got extremely angry.

Mine is always visible, because its so hot I wear tanks most of the time this time of year. I started a college gym class last week, its been a big boost. 2 times a week in the cardio lab. Way cheaper than a gym membership and I get college credit.

I walk every day at lunch and short periods in between to take a break at work. I have a treadmill and weight machine that I do 2 - 3 times a week. EA Active sports, Golds Gym Cardio and My Fitness Coach for the Wii which I alternate. I also have yoga booty ballet that I do a couple times a week and a Gazelle that I do anywhere from 45 - 120 mins. while I watch TV at night.

I walk whenever it's nice out for at least half an hour ... even when it's NOT nice out I walk to/from work (15 minutes each way -- up hill going to work) and if I can I leave early enough to walk around for an additional 10-20 minutes before I clock in. Lots of times if I find I'm sooooo close to my deficit but not quite there I'll toss on some music I know my 3 year old likes and dance around with him ... or just start randomly chasing him around!

I have a large collection of dvds I wish I bothered doing more. Maybe being back on 3FC will give me the added oomph to do that

I'm glad i'm not the only one doing more then an hour I've been doing between 1-3 hours total per day and people are looking at me like I'm crazy. Not this week but the 2 weeks prior I walked 110 miles. It sounds like a lot but I'm just watching TV in front of the treadmill.

I have't tried yogabooty but I have turbojam which I might start doing again as well as the chalean extreme... but my main goal is to get running again like last summer for more triathlons!
