I have had the same issue, pretty much been spotting or bleeding a few days every week for the last 5 or 6 weeks. I keep reminding myself it's not forever!

Good luck with your reboot and future maintenance!

That's great - congratulations!!

Hi everyone,

Finally getting started today, 2/27/16. I was all ready to start on 2/18 when I got news that an immediate family member passed away. Unfortunately, I put my IP start on hold So a very sad week. And some big changes ahead because of it. It is a good thing though. My small family and I will be making a cross country move in 6 weeks to be closer to family.

But I am ready to start today and have all my supplies - both Nashua Nutrition products and some Quest.

Looking forward to getting to know you all. Have a great day and please hug those close to you.

Welcome to all new folks.

It has been busy for me at work so I have not been on this thread very much. I started late in 2015 and have reached the 50# loss mark and today (unofficially) reached onderland.

IP works, but please remember that everyone's journey is different. We are all different ages, fitness levels, weights, etc. Don't let jealousy or envy lead you to feel that you are not doing as good as others. It does not matter how fast or slow that your journey is -- just that you are on the journey. If we are honest with ourselves we are likely losing weight faster than we have an almost any other diet.

Stay strong.

Sue

Hi everyone! I'm going to be starting IP tomorrow and super excited! There's no clinic here, so that part is out, but I will be using IP products. I've got my Phase I all printed out, my packets ready to go, and lots of motivation

I'm looking forward to checking in here and getting to know you all!

Welcome! Good luck with your start tomorrow. The first few days can be tough, but it gets a lot easier if you push through them.

Since you don't have a coach, in case you don't know, a lot recommend adding an extra packet each day in the first week if you feel like you need if. My coach also recommended snacking on lean protein if I was really struggling those first few days, in addition to the free veggies. I only needed to do it on the second day, but it really helped me get through that day. I know it's probably not the same advice that every coach gives, so do what you think will be best for you, I just wanted to mention it.

Hello everyone! I regret that I can't be as active on this forum as I would like. I am an accountant and we know what season it is! Anyway, I wanted to share a product with you. They are called Miracle Noodles. Have any of you tried them? The advertisement floated in front of my eyes while on the internet. I was skeptical as first but I ordered the Variety Sampler. Crazy noodles, served often in Japan, and made from a Shirataki something or other??? They come in packets of liquid. You rinse them for 15 seconds then boil for 2 minutes. Finally you throw them into an un-greased skillet to dry. Variety Sampler comes with 2 Rice, 2 Fetuccini, 2 Angle Hair, 2 Capallini, 2 Ziti, and 2 Spinach Angel Hair for $32.42. They are guilt free, no anything, no carbs, no calories.... And...I really believe I am eating noodles! I have had Chili Mac, Spaghetti with sauce, Stir Fry with Rice. Just ordered my second Variety Sampler. Also ordered 4 different sauce packets from Nashua Nutrition. Variety!!! I am in heaven!! Try the name and dot.com.

Thank you Juniper10! I am thankful for the tips and advice. I'm going to see how I do, but definitely keeping in mind that I can tweek things a bit if necessary. Kind of going to play it by ear and if I find I need a bit of lean protein or bit of extra veg, I'll go for it without worry

Today I've had the raspberry mousse and chicken soup. Not bad on both! lol

This plan reminds me quite a bit of the system for Beverly Hills Weight Loss Clinics when they were around. Lean proteins, lots of veg, protein packets much like IP, and a few occasional carbs. I do find I see more progress and feel better without carbs and more proteins, so excited to see what will happen on IP.

Happy Monday everyone!

Hi everyone, I had my week two weigh in and lost 4.4 pounds. That makes 16.8 pounds in my first two weeks. Kind of excited to say the least. I struggled this weekend with a birthday party and boredom. I did have a cheat with some extra lean protein that I had made, to try to get my mind from fixating on the cake I couldn't have. My coach wasn't too worried about the cheat per se, and was happy that I chose a lean protein rather that the cake. Keep working on the diet, I know I will be!!

Hi everyone,

I am new here and I just started the IP today. Everything seems to be going ok, I ate what I was supposed to and drank all the water.
I still feel iffy... I have so much weight to lose and I want it gone.
I have having a hard time with not wanting to eat junk and I am not sure if I am hungry or bored, what can I do or think of to sway away.

Sigh .. it's gonna be a long hardship of a road I think.

Welcome SECRET!
Yes, it's hard but the commitment you made to IP is a big step in the right direction.
It works, but you have to stick to it.
There's a post that pops up on these threads that really helped me. I'm not sure if this is the exact wording but it's something like:
Being overweight is hard, losing weight is hard. Pick your hard.
Best of luck!

Congrats, Chris! And great choices for a cheat, IMO. Not gonna knock yourself out of ketosis with a lean protein cheat!

Secret, hang in there! Once I got into ketosis, my cravings for junk stopped. There are certain ip foods (the bars) that seem to trigger cravings for me, but otherwise nothing. And I don't get very hungry between meals (if at all).

Livnglrg, thanks for sharing that quote, I'm going to have to remember it at times when the going gets tough.
