Scorbett-Thanks for the salt tip. It did seem to work and I was feeling better today also. I put some extra sea salt on my veggie soup at lunch and salad at dinner. Also, I'm totally going to make that zucchini dish you posted. Not sure if my husband and daughter will eat it, though..

B-Atkins RTD shake
L Quest Bar/Home made veggie soup ( Green cabbage, celery, leeks, lots of broth- Giant pot I've been eating it all week)
D-Roasted Loin of Pork, steamed purple cauliflower, arugula salad w/ sea salt, lemon and EVOO
S-???Prob a RTD Shake

I decided not to use the clinic because this is the third time that I've called and left a VM and nobody from the office called me back. So I've read through the boards and ordered a bunch of alternative stuff from Amazon and Nashua. And, I have the whole packet of info from my first appt with the IP coach.
You all have posted so much valuable information on these boards and are so inspiring. Thank you! :-)

B: IP white cheddar ridges - weird, I know but I was craving crunch!
L: Quest strawberry cheesecake bar, 2c kale + jicama + bell pepper salad
D: 6oz chicken breast, 2c roasted cabbage
S: IP Wildberry yogurt

Today is my first day mixing in an alt. product since I actually had some quest bars in my pantry. My understanding from the guidelines is that the Stawberry Cheesecake can be treated as an unrestricted, but if that's wrong, somebody stop me! Thanks

There are varying opinions about this. To be safe, I count ALL Quest bars as restricted, since they're so close to restricted.

People in the low-carb blogosphere have varying results with Quest bars (and how they affect blood sugar). I go with erring on the side of caution.

Thanks, Lisa! I've been reading through a lot of the alternative boards and haven't yet found a concrete answer as to what alternative items are unrestricted and which aren't, so you're probably right to treat them all as restricted.
