I lost 15 pounds the first week. Then thinking that this past week I would continue to lose I was more than a little shocked to see the scale hadn't budge a bit. Hence the panicky joining of this forum to ask wtf?

The scale hasn't moved this week but my clothes continue to fit better so it's a victory anyway. Congratulations to all who have lost this week.

PC Blue Menu - Garlic Chicken Skewers (4 skewers)
PC Blue Menu - Turkey Burgers (2 Burgers)

Also to save a few sheckles (vs IP food) in the morning I start my day off with a shake. I really like the PC Whey Protein Isolate - Strawberry Creme. (3 Scoops (170cal/2g carb/1g fat/28g protein)).

Best advice is to get set up on www.myfitnesspal.com I record everything I eat and it is a real lifesaver for me. They even have a handy app for your smartphone!

Also invest in a George Foreman grill! (I should advertise for those guys!) Grill your veggies with some seasoning...they taste way better!
Thanks for the heads up. I find myself fairly limited on what I can eat both on IP - I react badly to soy - and I am sensitive to poultry and eggs - get nauseous or vomit. So I am limited to beef, pork and fish. Makes it interesting around meal time here as the wife suffers from IBS and can't handle beef.

Oh ya, also get some Lee's Diet Tea for Body Balance! It is a laxative tea, have one every night (it is decaf). Your gonna get the big C (constipation) soon enough and Lee's Tea is a lifesaver! Shoppers has it! Could be why your stalled?

Things are moving so to speak - but maybe not as much as they should or could be - I'll definitely check out the laxative tea. Thanks for the heads up on the down low.

Default What was I thinking?

Loooong day at work ended with a why not just drop in somewhere to eat. In a admitted brain fart I told the wife to meet me at the Mexican Resturant... Grilled meat? Veggies? As I scanned the menu I realized this was a mistake. Then the chips came... And the guacamole... Well fajitas with no tortilla should be fine. Then the plate came with nothing but grilled onions. I felt like running out the door screaming like Bigfoot was chasing me.
I did survive, but won't make that mistake again soon.

Default Food choices? any ideas?

Hi guys,

My husband (and I) have finished Ideal Protein and my husband is having a heck of a time staying on track.

Do you guys have any suggestions on snacks that can keep him interested.. He has a sweet tooth and has a hard time making good choices.. I often think his consultant should have better educated the man on Phase 4 and what it really is.

Also did you have to give up alcohol completely? or if not, how do you make it work?

Any advice would be very much appreciated!
Thank you.. Kelly

I have a pretty aggressive goal in sight, but I'm sure being active here and with the right support, I can do it. I looked on the IP website and most of the suggested centers come up as chiropractors? I just find that a bit odd, maybe someone here can help me understand why that is.

Thank you in advance!
Hey Beau24.. I'm in the Pikesville area and my clinic is Catonsville so not sure that helps you much.. I have lurked for a while and just recently started posting here. Lots of great information and support.

For the most part I have liked everything from IP, until today. I put the WF "ketchup" on my sirloin burger and although it is something, ketchup is not it! Really lousy!! Ruined my meal.

Although I'm still phase 1, I have a Doctor's CarbRite Diet bar for a restricted sometimes. They are pretty good. I haven't had any alcohol since I started

Heinz makes a reduced sugar ketchup. It only has 1g carb per serving. It tastes just like their regular ones.

INGREDIENTS: TOMATO CONCENTRATE FROM RED RIPE TOMATOES, DISTILLED VINEGAR, SALT, NATURAL FLAVORING, ONION POWDER, **SUCRALOSE, SPICE.
**NOT IN REGULAR KETCHUP

Yeh we tried the WF "ketchup" making some cocktail sauce for shrimp. Runniest, nastiest stuff I've ever had. Picked up a bottle of the Heinz but haven't tried it yet.

Can I just say I HATE coffee. Never drank it. Used to get a cup now and then when I was in the Army to keep my hands warm in the field but never imbibed.

This morning I brewed a very strong cup of Starbucks in our K-cup machine and mixed it with the chocolate drink mix. I still hate it but I've been having severe problems with the Big C. I've been drinking Smoothe Move daily. I've taken NoviLax and several other things and nothing is working. I'm talking once a week if I'm lucky.

Desperate times call for desperate measures so it's on to the coffee. I still HATE it.
