You guys are kickin it at the WI's. Hope I can do as well this week.

Well I told DW I was thinking about going to onederland and she proceeded to throw a fit. I told her it's not that much further than what my goal is right now and she reminded me that my original goal was 245. Good thing she is out of town for work and I won't have to hear about it till she gets back Friday night late. Maybe she will forget ablout it by then because she knows I will do what I want anyway.

haha...SHE WILL NOT FORGET!!!...she is a woman...we don't forget things....lol....Just don't get TOO THIN and look sickly ya know, maybe that is why she is throwing a fit. Remember go by how you FEEL about yourself NOT what that scale says. I know I changed my goal to 200 but I find that my bones are starting to stick out more than I like and I may end up stopping, I haven't made up my mind yet. Do I want to see that 1 in front of my weight?...of course BUT I don't want to look sick either, I want to look healthy!...which ever you choose, you are doing a great job!

Women NEVER forget ANYTHING! My wife reminded me of that just yesterday with some crap I pulled back like 18 years ago! And it was a very minor thing at that! I was like "OMG"....I would do like she says H....women have some special freakin brain molecule or something and they can recall anything any time they want...BUT only if it is related to YOU! haha!

Wuv...thanks for the phase 2 info...I will pass it along to my brother! Also, if you are starting to notice bones sticking out, stop now! We men like a woman that feels good and not bony! Or stated the old-fashioned way..."with some meat on those bones"! And besides, you look "smokin-hot" right now! I am forever after my wife (115lbs) to EAT...she looks great and is the same weight since we married many years ago but 10 more lbs would not hurt her and I am a firm believer that a few extra pounds can help you and even save your life should you get an illness and need to fight it off. I call it "Insurance Weight"! haha!
Cheers!

WOW your wife is tiny!!...I weigh 219 right now BUT I have 30-40lbs of loose skin on me so that makes me weigh about 180-190 and I am 5'8. I am really thinking about stopping, my BF says he wants me to get to 160 and I am like you are smoking crack, mind you he weighs 290!....lol...I like meat on my bones, I am big boned, very wide shoulders so if I get to small it will look weird....lol

There may be a simple solution to this. If you keep your goal at 200, just drop it to 199. You will meet your goal and have that 1 at the beginning of your weight.

I understand about the bones sticking out. Since loosing the weight I've lost I have noticed that the bottom of my left rib cage sticks out weirdly (is that a word) I 'googled' it and found out that this happens to a lot of people. Some sort of calcium build up, or the bottom rib was moved by the extra fat in my mid-section and just got stuck sticking out. It's a little weird, but I can live with it!!!!!

That is probably what I will do, time will tell....lol...its funny how when we don't have the "fat" hiding us any longer the things we find out about our bodies!...lol

Default Weight Loss

I have been on this diet almost two months and I have lost about 20 lbs. Seems that I am losing weight a lot slower than I should. Any ideas? IP lady seems to think this is normal...

All depends on how strict you have been and how much you exercise. That still works out to 2.5 lbs per week. As little as you have left that could be right.

I have been on IP for 9 days and had my first weigh in today. I lost 10.6 lbs and 2.9% BF. Not expecting this every week, but happy with the start.

Posted this just now in general forum...wanted to share here and especially with JW who is the pancake king! Haha!

Made these yesterday morning....AWESOME! Very "custardy" and french toast-like in flavor yet look like a pancake and you can flip them like a pancake!

Take your RAW cauliflower and chop it into "rice"...I use food processor and it comes out very fine grained.

In a bowl: beat 1 whole egg, 1 egg white, 1/2 tsp vanilla, 1 tsp splenda, and cinnamon to taste.

Now take a tablespoon heaped with raw fine-grained cauliflower and add it in. Mix. repeat till you have added 4 tbsp. Mixture should look like batter. If still looks thin to you add more cauliflower but do not over thicken.

In fry pan add in oil...heat on medium...add in batter. It will even bubble like a real pancake. Fry...flip...fry...edges get crispy...cook like a pancake!

Plate it...spray with butter spray (zero cal)...add WF pancake syrup...and enjoy!

You can make 2 sizable pancakes with the above recipe....and you really can't tell its cauliflower in there!

This really kicked my pancake hunger and they looked amazing too!
Cheers
Jake
