I just signed up for IP yesterday. My first appointment with the coach is next Tuesday. I'm 29 5'11 around 280lbs? (ill know for sure on Tues).

My goal is to get back to my 9/2001 basic training graduation weight of 180lbs.

Hey there, welcome!! So, basic training graduation in 2001, are you still in? I'm still trudging away in the National Guard. Just passed up 17 years. Boy, I don't think I could get back to my weight at graduation time. My goal is 140 and I am 5'4". My graduation weight was around 128! I believe that may be a bit thin for this 40 year old.

Good luck at your first WI (weigh in) Like others have said, just stick to the program and the pounds melt away.

I got out a couple years ago. I did 6 years Active and another 4 in the ANG. Weight was always a struggle while I was in but it really jumped up after I got out (3 relocations hasn't helped).

I still remember one PT test shortly before I seperated. I had max points on pushups and situps and finished in the top 5 for my 1.5 mile run but I nearly failed the test still due to all the lost points from the waist measurement, lol.

My biggest regret is not hitting the gym to get into a weight training routine after basic.

Tried to post last night but kept getting an error on the iPad. Welcome. I was 168 in August of 1990 when I graduated from PI. I doubt I will see the one hundreds again. That's okay. 220 is a great weight for me. Good luck.

Mornin Jamie/Big Dad! CONGRATS!
...I lost 7lbs last week also...just weighed-in!
Looks like we both have 18 lbs to go till goal...SWEET! Mine was a short week also, as changed weigh-in day to Thursday...so had a 5 day week....but puts me back on schedule as began this whole IP thing Tuesday July 3rd so 65lbs in 12 weeks...5.42lbs/week "average" loss. Not too shabby! Congrats to you brother and keep up the great work!

I had 3 weeks of the 2-3-and 4 lb losses...figured my body was adjusting...then WHOOSH this week with that 7lb loss...figure it will slow down again but don't care...just chuggin along regardless of what the scale says!

My brother is on IP also. He weighed himself at start...and has NOT been on a scale since. He began 2 weeks after me...he was like 220 lbs start weight...he has no idea what he weighs right now but man is he looking THIN! Told him to get onto phase 2 and move along. He will be here this weekend so he will weigh-in here...bet he is down to like 170 would be my guess!

Wuv: Thanks for the always kind words! You rock kiddo!

Is there a new phase 2 sheet? I have the one from the sticky, but no date on it....can someone post a link to a new and current sheet?

Back to work!
Later all
Jake

Thanks Jake!!....here at my clinic phase 2 has been discontinued we go straight to phase 3. The phase 2 sheet hasn't changed the only different between phase 1 and 2 is you eat 8 oz of meat for lunch instead of a packet, that is the only difference
