JudoGirl, welcome back! It's great to see you! How has everything been going at the clinic?

Jennydoodle: I'm so excited for you!! I love the feeling of seeing the light at the end of the tunnel (and it keeps getting closer). Congrats!

Another 10# and I will start P2 and I am about 15# from goal, I can almost taste it. I did bootcamp for the last 4 days and am about to start BC for a full week. Trying to pick up a couple of big losses the next couple of weeks.

I have 5 weeks until our big vacation and I am totally focused on getting as close to goal as possible before we head out. It is totally my motivator and what has kept me on track all this time. I just spoke with my coach this morning and my vacation plan is to do P2 for 1 week and P3 for 1 week before I head out and follow maintainence while I am away. Then come back and get back on P1 to get to goal and start phasing off for good.

It's amazing, I actually feel like there is light at the end of the tunnel.
That is so great, I am so excited for you... isn't it great when all our hard work pays off?

I've said it before, but I'll say it again...I'm so glad you are back. Don't you go anywhere missy!!

Thanks again Carla!!! (PS...so I have you to thank for the salt water flush eh? Well, at least I know it works!)

Guess we were just the only ones on around the same time yesterday! Yes, that suggestion was mine. It does work, doesn't it! Unfortunately, it doesn't work the same for everyone. It is an old thing I learned from my mother which, my sister used to also use. I think it is part of another cleanse too. In any case, it has been around for a very long time.

TORIDE: I just saw your updated progress pic! Girlfriend, you look fantastic! If you compare the middle before pic (from your brothers wedding) to the latest one - you literally look decades younger! I'm so proud of you, my friend!! Thanks for sharing!

BTW: How is FannyMae doing? haven't seen her on the forum lately, I know she was gearing up for her wedding...?

Thanks for all the support ladies and the encouragement! This is why I absolutely love this website. I also forgot to mention that I am going to get my body fat tested this weekend (they do it at my gym). I am really interested in seeing how much I went down. Last time I was at 35% I am hoping for a 10% loss.

If they have the little thing that you put your hands on (looks like a steering wheel kinda), they have a big error range. It really is more a measure of fat AND how hydrated you are.

Take it with a grain of salt if that's what they are using. But, that said, you are doing really well! Keep up the great work...

Hey all you gorgeous, experienced women! (are there any men around here anymore?)
I'm 20lbs from my goal weight and I'm trying to figure out when to move to phase 2. Info on the board says both 80% and 90% of weight loss, but I care more about what those who have moved to phase 2 have done. Honestly, 80% seems too early.
Thinking "I can do 12 more lbs on phase 1" has renewed my motivation.

Hi Cindy,

When I reached 140, I decided that I really didn't want to lose much more (my face was looking really gaunt, to me anyway). I did phase 2 for one week and am now on phase 3. I was 137.8 on the scale this morning, so I'm still waiting for that gain that will come either now or in phase 4. I know there has been a lot of discussion around starting phase 2 when you are past your goal, to give yourself some 'growing' room...but honestly, you will keep losing on Phase 2 and you can stay on phase 2 for a while (unlike phase 3 which is for a max of 2 weeks). If nothing else, it's worth starting phase 2 just for the $$ savings.
At the end of the day, you have to decide what is best for you - I agree that 80% may be a little too early. Diet fatigue is a big factor, I read somewhere that from an emotional standpoint diet fatigue can actually make you regress back to your bad habits if you don't deal with it and phase out properly.
You are so close! why don't you go with your original plan and stick to phase 1 until you lose the next 12, then go to phase 2 (I must say that the last 10lbs I lost have been the most significant 'visually'.
That's just my 2 cents

I am staying on Phase 1 until I reach 145, which is my goal. I will then go to Phase 2 for 2 weeks to "see what happens" and anything weight loss there is a bonus. I know that it's normal to gain a few pounds back during Phase 3 b/c glycogen. That said, I have phase 2 days here and there when I am going out to eat at lunch and dinner, or if I'm mentally struggling with the program. It helps me feel free... I have done them once every few weeks for the past 6 weeks. It really does help. Take it a day at a time, don't think in weeks...

It is with the calipers, so it is more accurate (I think!)

You are SO lucky that they do it that way. That's WAY more accurate. Let us know how it goes!
