TORIDE: I just saw your updated progress pic! Girlfriend, you look fantastic! If you compare the middle before pic (from your brothers wedding) to the latest one - you literally look decades younger! I'm so proud of you, my friend!! Thanks for sharing!
BTW: How is FannyMae doing? haven't seen her on the forum lately, I know she was gearing up for her wedding...?
Thanks Brummie, the last one was monday (as it happens my brother's birthday) I went to mark's work wearhouse as they were having a sale, the dress I first tried on was a medium and it fit everywhere except in the chest they were exploding over the top and then the other was too big as it was an XL but that was all they had but I just had to take a picture of it anyway... It is nice to look younger, I think the tanned face helps too...
Fanny Mae had to go off of IP, she is on new medication that creates a low sugar in her system already so she had to come off until everything levels out, she is still losing but a lot slower now. She hopes to return some day.

I'm 20lbs from my goal weight and I'm trying to figure out when to move to phase 2. Info on the board says both 80% and 90% of weight loss, but I care more about what those who have moved to phase 2 have done. Honestly, 80% seems too early.
Thinking "I can do 12 more lbs on phase 1" has renewed my motivation.
I am with pxlkitty, even though they say 80% or 90%, my clinic says 90% but now that I have a new coach she is thinking I should phase out shortly as she thinks I don't have anything else to lose. WELL I beg to differ and I am going for my 140 and hopefully I will get there in the near future. After all this is the second time I have been at 165 as well so am holding my breath and hoping for do I dare say? 161 this next wi... that is pushing it with a 4 lb loss two weeks in a row but how awesome would it be to be 80lbs down and only 20 to go... even though I know the last 10 are going to be super hard I am gearing up and getting down to business, whether I do bootcamp for the next month I am going to get there.
I am staying on Phase 1 until I reach 145, which is my goal. I will then go to Phase 2 for 2 weeks to "see what happens" and anything weight loss there is a bonus. I know that it's normal to gain a few pounds back during Phase 3 b/c glycogen. That said, I have phase 2 days here and there when I am going out to eat at lunch and dinner, or if I'm mentally struggling with the program. It helps me feel free... I have done them once every few weeks for the past 6 weeks. It really does help. Take it a day at a time, don't think in weeks...
This is for the most part what I'm doing. I'm doing phase 1 for well...2.5 more weeks now, and then doing phase 2 for 2 weeks- like pxlkitty, to kind of see where that puts me, then on to phase 3. I'm really happy being a size 6, and since I'm for the most part in that size, I'm good to phase off. I want that little bit of wiggle room though. Not sure how smart it will be to coinside the start of a new job with a new diet phase..but we'll see...LOL!
Brummie, Pxlkitty, 2Ride & Minewgoal- thanks for the input on my question!
I don't know if I will have the stamina to go under my goal on phase 1, but I am definitely going to get to at least 90% before I think about phase 2. I would really like to end up around 175 for the long term, so the 170 goal accomodates some gain. After that, I'm looking strictly at exercise to alter my shape and tone up.
This week I have been eating a bit (like an ounce) of meat with my lunch veggies and salad and not only does it make me feel better through the day, it may have helped push me over the hump. I am also eating my restricted at lunch or breakfast now. I can keep doing that until I get to a real phase 2 because if phase 2 slows my losses any more I may be on it for a year! LOL

WAHOO!!!! If it's too much to start a new job and a new diet phase, just bounce around between Phase 1 and Phase 2 and do whatever works for you that day. You might be on Phase 3, though, which would just make breakfast different. And, breakfasts can be planned the night before (yogrut, granola, fruit breakfast anyway)... SO happy for you.
I had an interesting NSV when I came into work today.
A couple of years ago, I had to have a special office chair bought in because the (economical) chairs that they have here were not built for my then 220lb frame, and were giving me all sorts of back and hip issues. So an ergonomic, wider chair was purchased for me. (yes, at the time, I wanted the earth to open up and swallow me whole because I was so embarassed!). Today, lo and behold, the chair was gone and replaced with a new slimline one. I asked my boss about it and she said that the other one was needed elsewhere, and that she was so proud of me that she wanted to reward me with a snazzy new one. I just said OK and thank you (I guess?) and headed back to my office, on the way back I spotted my old wide-load chair in the office of a co-worker. This co-worker has done nothing but criticize my loss, lectured me constantly about how important my pancreas is and has continued to offer me foods that she knows are a big no-no.....all the while stuffing her mouth with anything she could get her hands on! I'm guessing that she is well over 240lbs, so I've always tuned her out. I haven't seen her yet today...but is this ever justice or what??
I can't help thinking that my boss is being a sly ol' fox and doing this on purpose (she has told this co-worker to leave me alone and mind her own business a couple of times) to teach her a lesson.
Just as a side note, this co-worker tried it on with my hubby about a year ago (she actually told him that he could do better then me!)

What a great story!! You're boss sounds pretty supportive, and it's so nice that she has recognized your personal accomplishment (while sticking it to your rude co-worker)!
my nsv, one of the ladies in the office I am in today (she is taller and skinny) said that every time she sees me I am just fading away. Oh and one of the guy's I use to work with in the beginning saw me today and said great job... very happy to be where I am and hoping to look even better.

2ride, Your pictures show a dramatic weight loss but I like the one you had posted where you were smiling. These pictures look so serious-like a police lineup! Great job on the weight loss-you are my inspiration. You've come a looong way baby!
Height: 5'-2" - 41 years old - 2015 Reboot: 165.4/136.0/135
Had a little NSV myself yesterday, one of the girls at my gym called me "The Incredibly Shrinking Woman". It was cute and funny, and it made me feel good.
Also, to comment on the 80%-90% discussion. It is my intention to get to 135 on P1, then stay on P2 until I hit 130. I would like to maintain between 130 & 135. That is just what I am thinking about NOW. I don't really know exactly what my goal weight will be because I want to go more by sizes than my weight.

My boss really is a star (unfortunately, she is retiring this year!) - she remembers everyones birthday, knows the names of all of our kids and has a very supportive shoulder (which has been cried on many times!)

We are resetting our pancreas on this program. Some people just can't accept that and believe that we are shutting her down permanently!

Guys are waaaaay more complimentary then women...anyone else notice that?
2RIDE, you look stunning already, those guys are going to be chasing you around the office soon! Say, remember a while back you were going to a make up party and your friend was going to jazz you up and make you her model? Did you do that yet?

I just got bloodwork results back from my very detailed physical last week. I will quote you from the report... "You have made great strides this year to improve your health. Keep up the good work." My lab results are glowing!
