I like that quote. I gave you a gift..either use it, but don't try and change it into something it's not.

Most of the ppl that really brought me to try this diet are on this thread:

Longdivision was the first person that caught my attention, mamarix1, Darbs, pxlkitty, riderollercoast, and some others...You are all very inspiring to me! And I have appreciated the advice that you all have given.

I am not an experienced person yet..I don't think..but I'll continue reading this and the other threads, because you are all a wealth of knowledge!

Hope you don't mind the drive by post of a newish person.

I started this diet in April, but I have been following the experienced IPers since January. You have all inspired me and I truly believe that I know more about this diet then my coach does...and that is all down to you. I'm starting my 8th week tomorrow...I haven't cheated once and I am more proud of that then anything else. I couldn't have done it without you all leading the way! Thanks!!

You will succeed at this new way of life because you know how it is supposed to be done.I love the do it right or just quit attitude, I have it too! I can tell from your posts you are a person who can see through all the BS and just stick to the program all the way to the end.
welcome. I can't stand all the whining and cheating, the not following protocol, and the gigianic amount of money people are willing to blow, and why??

It's funny to me that the things you mentioned bother anyone. An extra packet is not going to affect you and is even encouraged for some people (people starting at a very high weight, those who exercise, or just on a really hungry day) and to add an egg if your hungry is a GOOD choice. Yes, this diet is strict, but in my opinion these people are still on protocol. The people talking about cake and such are a totally different story.

I figured that since I'm about halfway to goal and over 3 months into this now, it might be ok that I join you here. Hope I'm not being too presumptuous!

So many of you here are the ones who have inspired me to be where I am today and while I still post on the daily thread in the hopes that I too can inspire someone newer to the program, I miss those of you who are here now

How are you doing back on plan? I hope you are having success this time. I agree about the egg, the extra packet, etc. The plan is tough tough tough...I was pyscho IP strict 100% for 5 months, but that type of strictness doesn't really help with the long term success and sticking with a healthy lifestyle. The last 4 months I am learning how to do this forever....I almost quit before I really got to a healthy weight, because I had so many weekends away and vacations planned, but I decided to push through it and I have learned so much...I have learned to enjoy and plan for the cheat and then get right back on plan. I am in the middle of phasing off, but I may stay in phase 2 even longer than I originally planned as long as I keep losing.

So I am reading your concerns and while valid, it am also hearing that many people have questions as so many coaches contradict each other. What is right? My mom asked me tonight why she cannot have aspartame - where does it say that. I could not answer, I just said no it was verbally said when we joined. Your remarks about diet pop - I was under the assumption that if it was made with splenda or sucraose it was allowed. Please clear this up for me. I have not strayed from protocol other than an extra protien pack one evening because I was so hungry.
Unofficially, I have lost 19 pounds now, but do not go for my weigh in until later this week.

I for one agree with all the above posts. I just went after JohnP over on another tread, you know the dude.. the diet myth buster...one post at a time. I am so damn mad I am seeing red! *breathe Sherry breathe*

Anyway, for now I feel safe over at this thread but I have a feeling this thread will be taken over by cheats, off protocal dieters and those who come to realize where the OP peeps are hiding... lol. I can honestly say, the day it happens, I will be done here.

I hate looking at my before pics too, good thing there isint alot. The girls at the gym really wanted to see, so I did, felt so shy at how I had let myself get. But onward, right to smaller and sexier clothes!!
