It does feel good to go down a size! I have been on program since March 9 and lost 22 pounds. I have been wearing the same jeans, and worried that I might not yet fit into my 14's i had packed away. I finally took the chance this weekend to try some of them on. And....some actually fit! Apparently no two pant's are exactly the same size even though they are all 14's! So Yahoo!
I have been a little frustrated as well this week as I was down a pound early in the week, but stayed the same the last 5 days. I WI tomorrow - so hopefully I am down a bit more. Last week was only a half pound! So I really need to see the scale move!
I am also a little 'afraid' to start exercising - since in the past it would totally stop me from losing. Maybe I will give that a try after WI tomorrow - see if that can shake it up for me. Have a great evening!

I have been away from the site for a very long time..too long. I am down almost 60 pounds now since January and yet do not feel like I have accomplished as much as I should have. My coach keeps asking me if I feel skinny yet...nope. Maybe I am too hard on myself and I am starting to really feel tempted to gorge- yikes

Hi, Svelting!!! And hahahahahahahaha!

Locks, I've heard the same things about the cleanse from more than just you. I'm considering a cleanse, but not that one. Any suggestions, ya'll?

AFM...I need a job!!! I wish the people from job fair would just let me know now. I hate waiting...impatience is not a virtue, I know. I dreamed about teaching last night, and being observed, and everything going wrong. Sigh. Weight-wise, I bought a scale this weekend, and from yesterday morning am down 1.2 pounds. I know how much it fluctuates, but it helps me to see that, since I can't always weigh in at the same time.
I went through the whole teacher job search for far too long. Then I did the subbing thing for years trying to sub my way in. They kept hiring the cute, blonde, young chicks straight out of college. They didn't want the teachers with experience. So, I went back to school and got my masters in Lib. Sci.. It opened doors like crazy and I had my pick of jobs. Good luck, I know how hard it is!

I have been an Earth science teacher for 13 years now. I have been at this school for 9 years. I applied here right out of college and came in second (I was very overweight at the time). I worked at the next school district over for the first four years and built an awesome reputation for State testing results and the school I am at now (very sought after), scouted me out. Now that I am here....I clearly see that image is alot....they hire people who will make them look good. Overweight and fresh out of college....I wasn't going to fit the bill....but I did with my test results and now I finally feel like I fit in physically.

If I don't get this position, and basically the only way I won't now is if there is a transfer, I'm going back for my master's, maybe as a reading specialist. Library Science would be good, too. Thanks for the lucky wishes!

I have an excellent reputation for being wonderful with the kids, as well as bringing up the reading levels significantly, so hopefully that helps. I also taught drama, and have a good rep for putting on great shows, but I feel I was too young for that position. It required a lot lot lot of truly excellent management skills, which I hadn't developed yet. I have them now, but hopefully that won't bite me in the butt.

Thanks for the encouragement, ya'll. I am cute and young and blonde...but I've still got a ways to go before I fit in physically! Lol. Getting there, though, and learning a lot on the way thanks in part to you awesome chicks. Mad love to you all (in an internet kind of way).

I love it "I am cute young and blonde". You will get the job or the one that was meant for you.

Good Morning all you IP Champions,

I have been on the Ideal Protein program for a little over 6 months and have finally reached my goal weight of 250 lbs and have moved on to Phase 4 maintenance. Since starting the program I have lost a total of 96.2 lbs and 63 inches in total and I feel great. If I can do this so can the rest of you. This program is an awesome gift we all have been given and will transform all of our lives forever.

My life has become very busy right now and I have not been able to come on the website and post as much as I would like. I have made many friends on the website and hope I have inspired many of you to accomplish your goals as well. I plan on staying in maintenance until my wife and I have our new child in November and then coming back to lose another 30 lbs and get to 220 lbs after Christmas. I will be checking in on all of you from time to time to see how you all are doing. Keep up the great job all of you are doing. I believe in all of you and wish you all success on your weight loss journey.

Bye for now my friends and thank you all for your support and information.

Throw 'em out. Donate them to charity. Give them to friends. Or pile them somewhere out of your closet until you have enough of a pile to get rid of all at once. Yeah, it hurts to lose the stuff you really liked out of your wardrobe, but, it will never fit you again.

You're never going back there. Commit to it.

Trust me, it feels good. :-)

Well, I have just been catching up on the new thread. I am still doing phase III, and trying not to get discouraged. When I started pahse II I gained about 2lbs, and now on phase three I have been fluctuating with a 1lb to 3lb gain for the past week and a half. So I quess I am handing some were between 164lb and 166lb. That beening said it still is only a 3lb-5lb gain which they said might happen. My coach is now trying to pressure me into coming back after my trip to Jamaica, even though I told her I would like to build muscle and tone over the summer. I personally think that I know my body better then she does. My hair has become thin over the past 8 months and I feel it would be better to reset my body "set weight" before trying again. Don't get me wrong I will most likely do the alternative IP program at some point in time during the summer, but I think next time I will be using alternative products.

Sorry for the rant, I have not been on in a while and needed to vent.

I hope everying one has a wounderful IP week.

We have the same plan. I really want to get to 150ish, but I just need to "reset" my body. I started phase 2 yesterday and plan to stay on it for 2-4 weeks and then phase 3 for 2 weeks before going to Vegas. I want to really amp up the exercise this summer and reaccess things in the fall. I am by no means done with this journey, just ready for a different phase. I totally agree with your plan.

I was just thinking about you yesterday and wondering how phasing off was going for you. Sounds like you are doing great. Congrats!

Good morning all! Just a quick stop in.. Have been busy lately! Brandon started his own slo-pitch team and has designated me scorekeeper, and they had their first game last night and won 16-3! I used to LOVE playing baseball when I was younger and decided that next year I'm joining a team!

Also, the local thrift shop here had a 50% off day on monday so I went in and got myself two skirts from the Gap for $5 each brand new! I can get them done up but they give me muffin top, so I bought them as my target outfit! I want to be wearing those come July 1!

Hope everyone is having a great IP day and I'll stop in again soon!!
