URGHHHH, COMPLETELY fell off the wagon this weekend. I don't even want to step on the scale...don't know how much damage I actually made. I'm starting tomorrow again tough. Tomorrow will be my 1 veggie day.

Hello everyone
I am still here, just super busy. Mondays are very hectic at work. Hey Kerrioh68 "YOU GO GIRL". All this time you were worried, you did great.
Dont worry MJ you are not alone, I fell off and rolled under the wagon this weekend. The only saving grace for me is that the office is closed this week so I don't get to weight until next week. I know I will be better. I guess sometimes the human part get the best of us and we want what we want when we want it. So I had Popeyes chicken with a couple of fries. I must admit, it kind of made me a little sick. My stomach got real suizzy. Hope everyone else had a great weekend.

Hello all .. its been a while since I checked in I guess its been a few weeks and already it jumped an additional 10 pages of dialogue - how exciting. Okay confession time. Update - as you know I went back on program on 3/13 after a 4 month break (Nov-Mar) - which while on break I maintained my loss and only fluctated 3-5lbs which wasn't significant. So my lost for Phase 1 this go around was again a 13lb loss. Phase 2 began on 3/26 which was tightening..boy did I totally bomb...I was doing so well the first 6 days..I was losing and then i went haywacky and ate everything that was nailed down!! why did I sabotage myself the last 3 days - so I went in for Phase 3 (4/6) and weighed in and was back up 5lbs and 1 inch. Boy did I get a lecture. Ok so I am back on schedule and I am down 6lbs from last wednesday evening...which is a good thing I am going back in the right direction losing what I ate which was probably sodium. It doesn't pay to sabotage yourself..wasted money and wasted time. This program is tough and WILLPOWER is essential. I was able to forego eating burgers and pumpkin pie at a friend's house this weekend and just had my water bc it was after 6pm. So it can be done - but you got to want it. I figure between now and June 30 - I need to drop these last 40lbs and I cannot sabotage myself any longer. This is the first program that has truly worked for me. Weightwatchers gives you too much food!! So glad we have so many on board. I need to report in daily for motivation and encouragement. Keep up the good work gals..and manwithbeads..is definite motivation that this can be done..I plan to have that same success bc I intend to fight for it!!

I am really trying hard not to cheat at all this week. The human part of me wants to be done with being fat so I can eat some normal foods and portions daily LOL...:o

hello... good to have you back. My office does not lecture. You have to want it yourself and lecturing will not help. One already knows what they did wrong if the scale goes up or what not. It is my money and the longer it goes on the more I have to pay... So if I do have a bad week I need support not to be yelled at like I am two. Good luck.. have a cheat free week... Stay strong.

I agree with ya Kerrioh68, I dont want a lecture when I have chosen to do something that is considered not the "norm" or out of bounds. I think it is unrealistic to expect a person to do what we are doing and somehow expect a few slips and falls. The important thing is to get up and continue the journey and dont stay down. A mistake is a learning tool if you learn from it. I really like the this forum bc it allows us to voice our frustrations as well as seek support and understanding from those who are in the same boat. overweight and trying to do something about it. Everything doesn't work for everybody. I am so glad I found something that is working for me after all these years of being FAT. Sorry, I got carried away. Promise not to ramble anymore.

ramble all you want... This diet is difficult but after 3 months on weightwatchers I kept losing and gaining the same two pounds. So if I lose 5 pounds a week and cheat on a couple of things it is still better. So far I have not gone crazy I have eaten spoonfulls or a few little chips. I have had no sugar cravings though.. really weird cuz sugar is my downfall..

I dont even think cheating is a mistake you can learn from on this diet.. this diet is more about willpower so you just have to drink water and try and remove the temptation from the reach of your hands and mouth.

uh uh uh...I'm so doing that!!! Thanks for the tip!!!!:^:

mom2gbsb 04-11-2011 04:52 PM

thanks for encouraging words gals...it wasn't a totally bad lecture..it was what I needed a reminder of how I know what I should be doing..I was doing sooo well and now I am sabotaging myself. My counselor said I was her poster child bc the weight was falling off..she saw how fast I dropped the 30 lbs back in Sep-Oct. So she knew I would be at goal in no time. But I am in it to win it now..bc I have a whole slew of people behind now. Keep up the good work gals!!!

milk day tomorrow.. psyched for a good two days and a big loss..

skinnylaydee 04-12-2011 06:41 AM

Good Morning fellow beaders:
Wanted to get my voice in before I started to work today. Had a great day yesterday, it was veggie day as well as today. I feel that my cravings are gone. I did not have on single craving and stayed on target. Maybe it was because I gave in to my desire to have an illegal food on Sat. Kerrioh68 I could not agree with you more, I did weight watchers and after 6 months only lost 4lbs. Durning that time I went up and down, down and up. And there was Jenny Craig, three months and lost 7lbs. Lets not forget Atkins, 4 months and lost 12lbs. Nutri System, could not eat the food due to so much soy. one month on that and lost nothing. I could go on and on but I promised not to ramble. I never knew I had such will power and self control until AW.
Thank God for AW. I am already buying clothes in the size I desire to be just as an extra incentive. My new slogan is Yes I Can, Yes I Will and Yes I Did.
