You did an online order, correct? When you go through the entire checkout process, they ask if you want to try this, this or that, if you want to add disk replacement services, etc., etc. Is there a chance you might have clicked "yes" on some of them? They try to get you to buy a lot of additional stuff. At the end, it gives you a breakdown of what you ordered, how much each item was, including S&H. I've never had a problem with them--BB (besides how slow it can be shipping). My total is always right on, and I just ordered the newest set of videos for Turbo Jam (this is my third online order with BB) and haven't had a problem.

Nope, I didn't even get that far. Plus I checked carefully what was on the order list (which is exactly what I was expecting). When I saw the total over $95, I backed right out because that is NOT the deal I was sold on the main page.

I received an interm response from them just a bit ago. It says someone will be back to me. I'm looking forward to the explanation.

You will get a much quicker response from them if you use 'live chat' on BB.com. I've never had a problem with them either. Hope it gets resolved. I wouldn't want you to miss out on this fun workout just because they screwed up.

Good Luck!

Diane

Hey everyone! I hope I can finally jump in and get going on this, too! The doorbell just rang and it was my TurboJam package to get me started, hopefully tomorrow. I have SO much weight to lose, and I have been off the exercise wagon for nearly a year now (gag!), but I'm going to try and not focus on that. When I ordered this online I made a mistake, somehow, and ordered the Maximum Results and Deluxe packages before I even had the first DVD set. It was a bit confusing, but, I figured, I would end up buying them eventually based on what all of you are saying here. I ordered through Ebates and spent $63.82 on the TJ package (apparently, some code worked for me) and $93.94 on the Maximum Results and Delux packages (and it appears, with those, that I'll be receiving the remaining DVDs at some point). Anyway, long story short, through Ebates, I got a 15% return so I'll be getting about $22 back. While the money is hard to choke down, I'm hoping the results are so worth it. Looking forward to joining in on all the fun with you all!

Sheria,
On each page of the checkout, they offer you different add-ons. You have to click skip or no. If you don't, then they add it on.
They probably added some vitamin supplement to your purchase.
Just go thru the checkout again and make sure you decline any extras.

I did try to use live chat but it said it wasn't available (this was Saturday or Sunday night) and so that's when they gave me an email address to write to for customer support.

Separate DVD link

I was wondering if anyone has the BB link to the separate DVDs? I can't find it on this thread, but I remember seeing it!
Thanks in advance!

Here is the link. I don't think the new ones are on there though.

More questions...

Thanks Rachelle :goodvibes
One more question for the night... Is it really worth the 2.99 a week for MyBeachBody? I apologize if anyone has asked this recently. I was thinking about doing it, especially if they give special discounts... but I don't want it to be a pain in the butt to cancel if I don't like it. Any comments are appreciated!

I have never signed up with My Beachbody - even when they were offering it free for a trial period (although I probably should have because I think some people also got a $25 gift card if I'm not mistaken). I just use the message boards on Beachbody and WOWY (although I've been forgetting to log into WOWY before exercising so I haven't been using that lately either) and find those two to be helpful. I know some that were grandfathered in have now been locked out and I don't believe they are going to start paying for it.

Sorry I couldn't help you there.

Hey Ladies,
How are new DVD's working out??

BigBootyB 04-04-2006 04:03 PM

I’m not sure if this has been asked before but what sort of music does TJ have? Is it all techno?

I saw the infomercial for it and I’ll admit it caught my attention but I have a general skepticism of workout vids. With the ones I’ve tried before, I either got bored easily or just didn’t get into it for whatever reason. So hopefully TJ has songs I can sing along with :D

Odaley 04-04-2006 11:09 PM

BigBooty--I, too, am often board out of my mind with at home videos. They often have a tough time getting me motivated and wanting to do them. Not to mention this is an infomercial and I'm quite skeptical of them. TJ, for me, is totally different. I look forward to them each day and I have fun and want to do them. Heck, I've now spent the cash to order all of the videos she has out for Turbo Jam (just recently ordered the newest set so I don't have those yet). That's not the norm for me--to find something that I really, really enjoy and to fork over the cash for it.

The music's not all techno. There's some old school music that's revved up for faster beats per minute. There's some techno and (I think) hip hop type music. Most of the time I just listen to the beat of the music. A lot of the moves are choreographed to the music. Not every song is my style of music, but moving to it is quite enjoyable.
