No, TJ is not a hip-hop dance workout. It's more of a kickboxing workout, with her moves. A lot of the moves go to the beat of the music. She does give a couple of little segments (probably 15 seconds?) to do your own little dance. Sometimes I do or sometimes I just step-touch or something. I dislike most of the silly work at home videos out there, but I really, really enjoy this one. A lot. I'm spending more money to order the follow up workouts. :o

Thanks, Bakerchick and Odaley!!

Okay, I think this is my last question. I've gone back to the two websites that folks have referred to in this thread and all I can find is Turbo Jam packages (a bunch of stuff packaged together for a higher price). I can't find anything that allows me just to buy a particular TJ DVD. Yet it seems that you guys talk all the time about buying individual DVDs...so what am I missing? What website can I go to to just shop for individual TJ DVDs and not have to buy the pricey packages?

Thanks SO much!
Sheri

This address should get you to the individual dvd's. It did for me.

Hope this helps.

After reading all the positive feedback, I ordered my TJ yesterday. Can someone tell how many inches and pounds lost since starting it?

SexyRevealed 03-26-2006 04:32 PM

I received my TJ in the mail Friday and did the Learn and Burn today. A very fun workout. I go to Curves and I will use this for cardio on my "off" days. :)

Awesome, Diane, thanks so much. I see there is no explanation of what each workout is on that page but I think I can use one of the other sites to get the explanation and then, once I figure out which one I want to start with, I can use the site you provided. Really appreciate it...I am not familiar with the beachbody site and hadn't found that page yet.

I've just been doing some reading of reviews of Turbo Jam products on the web. I'm getting the impression that Chalene's cueing isn't very good on the Cardio Party DVDs. As a result, even though I'm a regular exerciser and have a good bit of experience with kickboxing, I'm thinking I should start with the Learn & Burn so I can get the moves down. I was hoping to avoid buying Learn & Burn but, if the cueing is as bad as I've read on the Cardio Party (which is what I had been planning to buy), I know it will really annoy me.

Do you guys agree that I should start with L&B?
