Have you tried Turbo Jam? I know the TJ fat burner video comes as a bonus on one of the CLX dvd's. I'm not big on boring cardio but I really love TJ cardio just because you don't really think about the fact that you are working out, plus with weighted gloves it burns burns burns!
What is C25K? I've never heard of that before.
I do have Turbo Jam. I don't mind it in the winter when I can't get out but I just hate working out inside when it's good weather. I didn't know there was a bonus on the CLX dvd's. I'll have to check mine and see if it's there. The C25K is "couch to 5K". It's a program that gets you running gradually in 9 weeks.

Hi Everyone,
I was motoring through CLX and loving it. I was doing so well and made it through two and a half weeks of phase one (burn phase, right?) and then seriously strained my lower back. Ugh. That was three weeks ago and I think I'm okay to start up again. I've been walking a lot and this week I was able to do a couple of Turbo Jam workouts, so I think I'm good to go again.
Should I be starting over? Three weeks seems a long time. I also think I need to keep my weights down to 15lbs. I found that picking up 20lbs is what really hurt my back (even though I was careful to keep my back straight and lift with my legs).
Or should I just repeat my last week (so week 3 of burn)?
Hey girls! I did my final Push Circuit 1 today! Plus 2 Shaun T Rockin Body videos with my step daughter since she flew in yesterday and she wanted to dance!
Fit Mom: I think it just depends on how you feel. Does your body still feel pretty tight from the first 3 weeks you did. If so, start where you left off, or you can start at the beginning if you feel "out of shape" again
I can't wait to say I finished the Push circuit! That's awesome. Have you noticed a huge difference?
I think I'll just restart at the beginning of the last week I was working through. I don't feel out of shape. I just feel like my back is fragile. I hate feeling this way and I loved feeling strong and on my way to a much fitter body. Oh well. If I can't handle doing CLX, I'll just pop in a Turbo Jam and keep doing TJ for another week until I get better. I am going away on a beach vacation in October to South Carolina and I really want to firm up this post 2-baby belly.
Yes - I would start where I finished off as well! Good luck! Just don't over-do it if you feel any strain anywhere and slowly you will strengthen your back up in no time!
I have noticed tons of changes! My husband has noticed even more changes than me!!!! I love it! I am actually beginning to love my body for the first time in a while!
I haven't weighed myself or measured myself in a while so I can't tell you exact differences at the moment - but my jeans I was wearing (my fat jeans) can now be pulled down without unbuttoning them! WOOHOO haha it is seriously an awesome feeling!!!!
That's great! My goal is to go down a pant size. I've been the same (or heavier) for 20 years (and I'm 37 years old), so I'm really wanting to finish what I started.
I tried to do it this morning, but no deal. My physio yesterday really did a heavy job on my back and I feel bruised and week. I'm so disappointed. I was doing so well. As long as I can begin again by mid-June, I'll be okay.
Fit mom when you try again just go really light on all your weights NO sence in pushing it there is plenty of time for that when you are feeling stronger!

Well I am starting to get a little bit of ME time back this NEW house thing is a time HOG and I like to work out 2 hours a day..... I know I am VERY FORTUNATE to have the time to work out that much. Today I did Push 1 and Insanity Pure Cardio and Tamilees I want those Abs.
This is my second time through Clx I started it again after I finished it the last time i have had great sucess with it. I am 58.
Deva - that is awesome! Hahah yes - I could workout forever if I had the time to I love it! The way I feel afterwards makes it work it every time!
I did Insanity a few months ago - have you done that program before? I am about to start mixing some Insanity videos in on my cardio days again because I liked the way Insanity made my arms look - he does more push-ups and plank work than any other video I've done and my arms were looking awesome from them!!!!

Denise I finished a round of DOUBLES doing Chalene CLX and INSANITY at the begining of May. But my move started at around Mothers Day so I have been just doing a mix of Clx and Insanity DOUBLE DAYS as I can fit them in as I paint do yard work ect. I just finished working 5 hours raking cutting hedges by hand and bagging OLD leaves {7bags!] in 90 degree weather.....That was after todays workout.
I did 3 rounds of p90x with cardio kickboxing as my double.
How long will you take to drive back to Southern Cal?
Wow! That sounds insane. I would definitely not want to do all of that yard work you have to do :/ haha
I haven't worked out yet today, but I plan on doing my CLX Push 2 for the last time and maybe and Insanity video - because I want my arms more toned again like they were when I was doing Insanity. I wish Turbo Fire was out! I'm sure that would work me as well as Insanity but be more FUN!
I feel out of shape today - once every 2 weeks or so it hits me and I just feel like being lazy - I think today is that day haha - hope I do my videos today
We have 2 stops to visit family on the way home so it will probably take us a good 10 days to go from VA to San Diego, including our stops (or at least that is what I am hoping!)
Instead of Burn Intervals I decided to do an Insanity video today! My goodness I forgot how great of workout that is! I feel so much better now. I've been getting frustrated because I am losing inches off of my stomach and legs but my arms - nothing...and my arms looked great when i was doing Insanity all of the time - so I think I'm going to have to add it back into my routine!
Anyone else having troubles losing inches in their upper arms? My arms arent fat - it's muscle...but I want it to be LEANER muscle lol grrr....
Hey everyone! My name is Amy. I found this forum about a month ago. Reading your posts helped me with my decision to purchase Chalean Extreme. So, now i've joined for support. You all really seem to be great support for each other.
I started with P90X and after 2 weeks realized that i just wasn't in shape at all. So, then i purchased Turbo Jam. I love it but i have a really hard time staying interested in workouts.
I've been doing Chalean Extreme for almost 1 month. I have two workouts left in the Burn phase. I have never worked out for a whole month (consistently) in my life so this is a huge accomplishment. I love the workouts b/c you do something different every day of the week. It stays interesting for me so i can stick with it. I finally lost 1 pound yesterday (i weigh myself a lot...it's like a challenge lol). I will measure on Monday to see my 1 month results. I don't feel like i've lost inches but my skin feels tighter and i feel more energized. I am confident that the pounds and inches will go away soon!
I look forward to getting to know you all. I am still learning what works for me and i'm sure i'll have lots of questions for you all. I will also help give my advice where i can!
Hi ladies! So i got my Chalean Extreme videos, and I'm so excited! But I was wondering, is there a schedule for what videos to do what days of the week? I got two little booklets with it and neither of them said anything about this.... I remember having seen a calendar somewhere online, but I cant find it on beachbody.com or anywhere else now. please help!
OK nvr mind, i found printable calendars online. Not sure why it didnt' come with my set. But does everyone else's booklet end after the fit test? It says in the front to go to pag40 - 45 to see how to measure, and I dont have a page 40 - 45. URG. Guess that's what I get for getting it for half price
